I skipped the typical tourist route (yes, no panda base!) and went for a slow, chill, foodie-style trip instead — tea, hotpot, old streets, and that signature Chengdu calm. Here’s my lazy but lovely 3D2N itinerary ⬇️ ⸻ 🗓️ Day 1 | Arrival + First Taste of Chengdu 🧳 Checked into the hotel & dropped my bags 📍Explored Chunxi Road + Taikoo Li — mix of modern & traditional vibes 🧋 Sipped on local bubble tea while people-watching (a Chengdu must!) 🍢 Dinner: Went full local with street skewers & cold noodles 🌙 Evening walk around Jinli Ancient Street — fairy lights, snacks, and little shops that feel like another era 💡Tip: Try the sugar-coated hawthorn & sticky rice cake — small but addictive! ⸻ 🗓️ Day 2 | Teahouse Life & Spicy Feast ☀️ Morning: Woke up late (as intended 😌) 🍵 Sat in a traditional teahouse for hours — sipping jasmine tea, reading, and just doing nothing 🌿 Explored Kuanzhai Alley — loved the old architecture and little lifestyle shops 🌶️ Dinner: Sichuan hotpot time! Ordered “xiao la” (mild spicy) but still sweating 🫠 🎶 Night: Chilled at a livehouse bar nearby with music and cocktails 💡Tip: Must-order hotpot items — beef tripe, potato slices, and crispy pork 🥹 ⸻ 🗓️ Day 3 | Last-Minute City Wanders 🥐 Brunch at a café in Taikoo Li (yes, again — I’m obsessed with the area) 🛍️ Picked up some hotpot base, spicy snacks & cute souvenirs ☁️ Walked through some backstreets near the hotel — quieter but full of surprises ✈️ Headed to the airport full (literally and emotionally) ⸻ 🏨 Hotel Stay: ✨ JI Hotel (Chengdu Chunxi Road Taikoo Li) 📍Right in the city center — 3 mins to shops, 5 mins to metro 🛏️ Clean, minimal, comfy — just what I needed ✅ Booked on Trip.com (super convenient!) ⸻ 💬 Chengdu isn’t about checking off a list — it’s about slowing down, eating well, and feeling the city’s rhythm.
