Hat Yai, Thailand Travel Guide: A Niche Destination for Food and Drink
Hat Yai, Thailand is a small town near the Malaysian border, making it a popular weekend getaway for Malaysians who come to enjoy the low costs and delicious food ❤️. Chinese tourists are rarely seen here, so I highly recommend this niche Thai destination 💯.
There are many flights from Bangkok to Hat Yai every day ✈️

1️⃣ Hat Yai is really small, and taxi fares within the city range from 70-150 baht 🚗🚗🚗. It's very convenient to get around 🚗🚗🚗.
2️⃣ For accommodation, choose a hotel within the city area. Most are around 200-300 RMB per night 🏨.
3️⃣ Lee Gardens is a must-visit for food‼️ Especially the 'crispy pork' stall inside, which has been a staple at this night market for years. Many tourists come specifically to eat here 😋. The night market is quite small, so just take a taxi. Every stall offers something special.
4️⃣ Mother Cows 🥛 is a local fresh milk shop that also sells various milk drinks and delicious bread and desserts‼️‼️‼️ The bread is sliced, buttered, toasted, and topped with cream, making it incredibly tasty 😋. Pair it with a sip of fresh milk for a delightful experience 😌.
5️⃣ Good Luck Dim Sum Bak Kut Teh → A famous old shop where you can choose your dim sum and have it steamed on the spot. Two people can eat to their heart's content for just over 60 RMB 💰.
6️⃣ Greenway Night Market is more modernized. The food area requires a prepaid card, and any unused balance will be refunded. The dining environment is also relatively clean.
7️⃣ Hat Yai has many popular coffee and dessert shops. You need to explore the map for these. I previously visited Namkee Café, which was very nice with a fresh and clean vibe, and everything was great.
8️⃣ There are many massage shops around Lee Garden Night Market, with foot massages costing around 200 baht per hour. However, the environment is average. If you want a better environment, you'll need to go a bit further.
