"I had a wonderful stay at The Armstrong Hotel this past Easter weekend. This was a staycation while I hung out with some friends who live in Windsor. So, I didn't do much on the main drag of College Avenue. But it seemed like a bustling and exciting place. The room was well kept and clean, and the front desk staff were nice and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and the water pressure was great. I requested a luggage rack, and someone placed in into my room with no problem. I would definitely return to stay again. Maybe the 3rd floor next time. I was on the second floor and bless the cleaning staff for all they do, but they are fast and furious with that vacuum cleaner in the morning. That was the bulk of the noise I experienced. Not terrible. The parking was convenient, and close by. My only critique is that the parking lot next to the Bohlender Funeral Chapel needs some light at night. When returning late at night, the parking lot is extremely dark. And some cars were double parked. I read some reviews about the loudness of the train that goes down the next block on Mason Street. It wasn't bad. You should always travel with earplugs, but the hotel provided ear plugs which was a nice touch."

"The facilities are good, the guests are of high quality, it is very quiet throughout the whole trip and has a sense of boundaries, but the location is average, it is only one block away from the Leaf Shop, you can smell the hemp smell at the door, and it is indeed comfortable to walk to the art museum, about less than 20 minutes, you can weigh it yourself"

"The room is big, tidy and hygienic, but the quilt is weak, it will wake up, forget to turn up the heating, the location is good, the nearest 16th street, recently the state government capital, you can take a rickshaw ranging from 20-25, if the toilet has ventilation, it is better. The outdoor swimming pool is warm and very good. During the epidemic, the economy in downtown Denver was sluggish. Before the epidemic, the 16th Street Mall was very lively. There are no people nowadays. Many restaurants are closed and deserted. When you click check out, the room card will be reserved in the special box for the turn-off gate of the parking lot. After checking out, you can enjoy free parking until 4 o'clock. Parking nearby is expensive. Remember to bring the room card when entering and exiting. Watch the game first-rate. Then check out to visit Colorado, Denver Museum of Nature and Science. The large parking lot is full of lively, cute and cheerful children. The indoor restaurant is worth trying: Pizza, cold sushi, fruit and vegetable salad, various beverages, biscuits, sweet cookies Cake, business is booming, one big dragging 2-3 children is not a problem, 15 years later, the explorer will grow up, and the economic future of Denver is promising. At the same time, the zoo nearby has more parents and children in line, which is a sharp contrast to the deserted city."

"The first room we were booked into had a terrible cigarette smell (it's a non smoking hotel), so they had to find us another room. The next room had its own issues. First thing we found was a bag of kibble in the fridge. The bathroom door had to be forced to shut completely, and the bathroom sink drained incredibly slow. They apparently tried to fix it, but it actually got worse after. If you are tall, you will hate the showers. The shower head is set at about 5'6”. Also, bring slippers, because the floors are filthy. I obviously cannot comment on every room, but the hotel is very dated and needs renovations. A few positives were that the staff was nice and accommodating, they serviced the room daily, the bed was comfy, and the shuttle service was great."

"I love your motel, but for the price you would think that you could afford to have an air conditioner cool your room instead of only getting down to 69° very disappointed in that we paid Top price for it only to burn up in our room. And then also you want to charge us $15 just to park in your parking lot when we are the customer"

Breakfast selection was excellent. I was able to get a load of laundry done. The laundry was on the same floor and was clean. Definitely would stay there again."

AAnonymous UserI waited for a long time at the front desk of the hotel. The front desk staff was obviously not familiar with the business. I had to brush the room rate. In fact, I had paid all the room rates in Trip.com ! Then I said that I would need 250 knives as a deposit, and other same hotels would have 20 knives! I think it was also because he was obviously unfamiliar with the business! The room is generally ok, but there are several problems with the equipment: there is a bedside lamp that is not bright, the wiring board on the desk works, there is no bath liquid in the bathroom, and there is no soap! Breakfast is a bit simple, the only thing worthy of praise is that the freshly squeezed orange juice is not bad! The overall stay experience is generally very general

GGuest User1. Price was very affordable. I wasn’t expecting too much, but it went well above my expectations for this price. Yes, it’s an old hotel so the furniture seems a bit old with scratches and dents, but the room was kept clean overall. It did have a distinct smell that bothered me when I entered the room, but after a few minutes I got used to it. If you’re hesitating because the price is too cheap, I honestly think it’s only because of its age. 2. Location was not far from the COS airport. Local buses were during ozone season, but if you want to go far you would need to get an uber. The neighborhood seemed quiet and peaceful, but I did hear sirens going off three times during my two nights of stay. 3. The building is a condominium with a few rooms they rent out as hotel rooms. Its residents were primarily retired people who were friendly and chill. 4. The guy at the reception was super friendly. We chatted about our times in the army. I noticed a lot of retired service members in the building throughout my stay which made me feel very safe. 5. Breakfast was not a buffet, but was made freshly per order. Eggs, pancakes, and potatoes were served for free, and I was able to add two strips of bacon for a dollar fifty. Tina, the waitress, was very nice, and Jimmy, the cook, was also friendly. Food was delicious. Jimmy was so excited for me to try his “space cake”, which was also amazing. The outdoor seating has a great view of the mountains, so I recommend sitting outside.

GGuest UserWhat I like: (1) Tea/Coffee available 24 hours, breakfast is simple but enough choices, egg, sausages, waffles, bread, oatmeal, juices, coffee, tea fruits (2) Staff are professional, explain things well. (3) Furnitures are slightly newer than the other Hampton I stay in. What can be improved: (1) I waited at Island 3 (Door 512) from 745pm till 830pm and called twice in order to secure the shuttle service. I saw other hotel shuttles already dropped by 4-5 times in that mins and even saw the other hotels shuttle, like Cambria dropped by within 30 mins. When I got to Hampton, it was already 850pm and also realised that the restaurant next door is closed. I understand that it maybe out of their usual service hour, yet I wonder if they can do a join venture service with other hotel brands so that customers could be picked up earlier. (2) I was offered the room at the end of the corridor but there are loud water noise coming from the pipes when someone was using the toilet next door or upstairs. Since I was so tired after the longhaul and shorthaul flights and had not been sleeping for 30 hours, I went to sleep at night as usual. However, I am pretty sure that it would bother me when the day I am more sensitive to sound. I did not report it because it was just a short stay. Overall, I would give a 4 star as the staff attitude (check in, check out and cleaning lady) and their service deserve great respect, standard up to par breakfast and clean room.

FFashion_PotatoI stayed at the Westin the night before my flight because I didn't want to panic about getting to the airport on time. I'd heard Westin is good quality and the location really is so convenient so I splurged. I kind of wish I hadn't. The room was very basic. The shower was nice, but there was nothing about my stay that made me think ”worth every penny!” Especially since they charge for internet. Good things: the staff are delightful although they definitely seemed understaffed and a bit stressed. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's AT the airport and so easy to navigate! I asked for some extra water and they brought a lot. The room service food was so good. Meh things: the carpet made me super glad I brought my own slippers. It didn't seem dirty, but something about carpeted hotel rooms are kind of icky. The coffee cups were all paper and I just felt like I was making a lot of trash when all I wanted was evening tea and morning coffee. Boo things: not even an hour of free wifi? Just straight up ”pay 18 extra dollars on top of the hundreds for a basic room so you can tell your family you arrived ok and make sure you know where to go at the airport tomorrow.” I don't know, I'm not a business guy but it felt very cheap and petty.

CCayaNo-frills, budget-friendly hotel conveniently located. The free breakfast was more than adequate. The staff, although professional and competent, weren’t exactly friendly or welcoming. Biggest issue was the shower/bathtub. The water pressure was laughably weak and the hot water pretty much ran out completely within 5 minutes of turning on the shower. Not a pleasant experience in late fall/winter

GGuest UserFirst off this hotel has a great location. You can get on C-470 in just 2 - 3 minutes and access to I-25 is just as easy and takes only 5 or so minutes. Within less than a mile radius is the Park Meadows Mall, several supermarkets/drug stores, more restaurants than you can imagine, Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Costco, Ikea, golf courses, bike trails, parks, and so on. The hotel appears to have been updated fairly recently as all finishes in the building looked clean, shiney and quite new. Our room was of average size with 2 queen beds that were very comfortable. We especially liked the fact that the shower/toilet area was separated from the bathroom sink area. The room was very quiet as there was no noise from either the outside or from adjoining rooms or the hallway. I usually don't sleep well in hotels, as the slightest noise keeps me awake, but during our stay here I slept like a baby. The front desk personnel were professional, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. The only slight minus to our experience was that the breakfast menu was on the light side compared to most other hotels we have stayed in, however the dining space is spacious and clean. In summary, you can't go wrong in choosing to stay at this well managed hotel.
