I enjoyed my stay the staff was great,rooms were clean especially my front seat attendee Andrea was great. The location was good They had a 711 and restaurants walking distance along with a target so I didn’t have to go far.

This hotel is conveniently located if you are touring downtown sites and one of the only in the area under $300 a night. The rooms are extremely small, which you might expect in a downtown hotel, but something to be aware of. The staff was courteous, our room was relatively clean, and breakfast was included. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not functioning. We were given a box fan and a “shrug” and that was that. Tiny room, double beds and family of four - uncomfortably hot. Additionally, there was a sickening stench permeating throughout the common areas of the hotel. Thankfully, we only stayed one night and didn’t have much downtime to have to choose between hanging out in our hot room or a stinky common area. If you want to stay here, I would recommend calling ahead and verifying that these issues have been remedied.

We had stayed at the Hotel Denver years ago, and did not realize at the time of booking that the Hotel Maxwell Anderson was the same place, rebranded. What a nice facelift! The location is totally convenient, walking distance to the pool and downtown. Check-in was easy, the front desk clerks were friendly and helpful. This was a last minute trip and were trying to make this a budget-friendly stay and chose an inside king room. It was small, but well appointed, comfy and cozy. We get to Glenwood once or twice a year, and this will be our go-to place from now on. Ours was a mid-week stay, I felt that it was an excellent value, not sure how the prices would be on the weekend.

However there was one person at the front desk who was exceptionally rude to me on one occasion. I had called to request tissue paper and towels and spoke to a lady. She indicated they would bring it up to us (usually we had to go down to retrieve. Never did this before at other hotels.). Thirty minutes later we were still waiting on the items. I called again and a guy answered. He told me to be patient and housekeeping just arrived and will bring it. Before I could respond to ask if I can just come for it instead HE HUNG UP ON ME. I had to call back and ask that question. I thought it was so rude for him to tell me to be patient AFTER 30 MINUTES and hang up on me. I didn’t get his name but I remember he wore a nice yellow blazer one day during the trip.

This hotel was absolutely awful. This hotel was booked on my boss's corporate credit card as I was traveling for work. When I checked in I was told they needed a credit card for a $25 deposit so I provided my personal debit card. I awoke the next morning to discover that they had charged my personal account for the stay. They were able to have the charges reversed but this mistake caused my mortgage payment to be made late while I waited for the funds to be returned. When I went to check out, I turned in my room key and was waiting for the airport shuttle when my wife called to inform me that they had charged my personal card for the stay AGAIN! I also had these charges reversed but the fact that their staff is so inept is completely unacceptable. The cleanliness of the room was also terrible. I stayed for 6 nights and my room was not cleaned once and I NEVER used the do not disturb sign and was out of my room between 7:30AM and 6:00PM everyday. I had trash stacked in front of and around my tiny trashcan because no one bothered to clean the room. I will NEVER stay at this hotel again and I have warned everyone else at my company, because we travel to Denver often, to stay at any other hotel.

My husband and I spent a couple days here and were pretty satisfied with it. The room was clean and nice. And the bed was very comfortable!! Location was great as well. They charge a daily fee of $35 for parking but there are plenty of other parking garages close for way less. They have a 24 hour self service spot where you can buy snacks and drinks which was helpful. The elevator was extremely slow and a part of our floor was under construction. Also, the pool water was way too warm. It may be listed on their website as heated but I was not prepared. It was 98 degrees outside and we couldn’t even sit in the pool. The biggest complaint was the service. I asked one of the front desk gentlemen if we could bring drinks up to the rooftop pool or if there was bar service and he had no idea. His response was “I think you can?” When we got up to the pool and tried to call to order food and drinks they told me we had to come down and order it from the bar and pick it up from the bar. Which is fine but at the pool area they literally had a phone, next to a menu, and a sign that said use this phone to order food?? They also only have breakfast and dinner hours listed but when I asked if they do lunch too she wasn’t sure and put me on hold to check. It was just a little misleading. Like how do you not know if you serve lunch too? The only awesome service we had was the bartender we had for lunch and drinks. He was knowledgeable and quick to take care of us. Overall 4/5 hotel stay. We would probably come back since the bed was comfy and the room was nice and spacious.

Phenomenal hotel and service💚 Jason one of the mgrs at the front desk went ABOVE and beyond from check-in, to me losing my eyeglasses, to spoiling me with amenities and check-out. There was a young woman hate I forgot her name but she was awesome. The gentleman from security who reviewed video footage, thank you! I was suppose to be at the Courtyard 15 mins east but happen to be driving around and just stopped in...canceled the other room and stayed here. New designed rooms was chic, lobby is amazing, Starbucks bevs onsite and restaurants. Keep it up and I will be back!!! One hiccup the lady that greeted me when I first walked in at the Hilton Honors counter needs to show better customer service skills. I always ask to see a room before check in and I’ve been an Honors member for 14yrs. She insisted “we don’t do that!”. Not sure what she thought I was attempting to do as I would left my passport or what have you but she was not kind! Short small frame woman with glasses and dark hair. I purposely avoided her the remainder of my stay. Once she verified with a mgr (Jason🥰) she had someone escort me. That’s all I wanted...but not friendly. Yeah I remember you you left an impression. Thankfully the rest of the crew made lemonade from lemons☀️

It did seem safer than nearby self parks. I arrived around 4pm and there was a bit of a backup to park and check in. The hotel is 20 or so floors and I was on 19. The wait for elevators was somewhat long and crowded at certain times of day. There is everything you need right outside the doors. I had a different idea of what the 16th street mall was. Just several blocks of stores and restaurants. But is walking distance from hotel. I ordered Ubereats. Used the laundry facility which was good. Was only staying 1 night to pick someone up at the airport on a national park road trip. Hotel had all the amenities needed. Room was small but clean. The welcome bag as a priority member was nice! The front desk staff was nice and helpful. Wish parking was cheaper but seemed to be comparable with the other hotels in the area.

We had a great stay at hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs. Of course it’s amazing to stay in an iconic hotel that has existed for 130 years, and it’s charm and decor do not disappoint. The renovated rooms have maintained their charm, while having a little style update. The staff is amazing – very helpful and willing to make sure that your stay is an enjoyable one. In the summer, do not miss dining on the patio.

Nice location. New property is clean and stylish. Aesthetically pleasing. Very clean. Comfortable. Love the toiletries. This is where it ends. Check-in was pleasant enough, but not a warm welcome. It seemed as though you are an inconvenience. Also, poor communication as the lady was looking something up in the computer, but did not let me know, so you're just standing there waiting for an answer. An Atwell card in the room read ”if you need anything, let us know”. Well, I was in need of a shower cap but they didn't have any. There is only 1 dining room chair, I asked for more, but the receptionist said ”I can't get ahold of anyone so I think that's all we have”. Last item request was for a bowl as we brought our own breakfast due to dietary needs and of course, ”we don't have those but you can come down for breakfast”. Advice: You can ask for items, but that's where it ends. Most hotels have basic amenities for travelers, but not this place. I doubt we'll be returning to this place as there are many other hotels in the area that are more prepared for travelers.

Room was large, clean, and had a large balcony. Intense air freshener was in use throughout the hotel, including in my room. Pillows are small and square. Bed is quite firm. Walls are thin --- I could hear my neighbors as though they were in the room with me. No water in room, even for purchase. I saw some guests getting bottled water at check-in but I wasn't offered any. Check-in process is antiquated, which is not a big deal, but it's strange to see somebody pull a piece of paper out of a file folder and ask you to initial in four places and sign at the bottom. Room keys have to be inserted instead of tapped. Also not a big deal, but just a sign of the age of the property. I made this trip last-minute and could literally find no other room in downtown Denver for under $1200/night. So, this will get the job done for one night. It's fine. I wouldn't return if I had another option.

I expected a lot better. The location is great for the city sights. Close to all the key areas (and it’s a good walking city). But the number of homeless people around is quite shocking and can make you feel very uncomfortable. It’s only 20 mins walk from Union St but you’ll need a taxi if you have luggage. Lyft and Uber are your friends but pricing is very variable. The reception of the hotel is non-descript and service slow if there’s a conference in the hotel. The rooms are dark. Too dark. They are also small. Beds and pillows are comfortable. Bathrooms need refurbished - they are looking tired. (We stayed twice in the space of a week). Towels were thick and soft; toiletries good quality. The only restaurant is a sports bar in the basement. This is particularly disappointing for a hotel of this quality. Space, service and quality can therefore be problematic. We left one morning when service was particularly bad. There is no Exec Lounge. A major drawback and a dumbing down of the chain. Instead of lounge access we were given $15 per night to spend. This could not buy you breakfast….probably just one drink in the bar. The US chain could learn from Hilton elsewhere in the world. On second visit we arrived at 1720 and our room still wasn’t ready. However the front desk subsequently let us have a late checkout for our own departure. That all said, you’ll be able to do better at this price.

The hotel environment is beautiful, suitable for business trips, the rooms are relatively large, the health is ok, the restaurant is large, and the breakfast is rich in the morning. It is also close to the client's residence and the transportation is very convenient.

Rodeado de pequeños jardines y parterres y un amplísimo aparcamiento, encontramos este edificio nuevo, en colores oscuros, de cuatro alturas y ventanas cuadradas; con un enorme pórtico con porche, bajo el que aparca el bus de cortesía al aeropuerto, y en el que encontramos la puerta de acceso. Dos tramos de puertas correderas automáticas en aluminio y cristal con una zona alfombrada en medio nos dejan en la tranquila recepción. A la izquierda varios cómodos sofás con butacas y mesas bajas delante de una enorme televisión que proyecta deportes y noticias. Al frente, un espacio generoso con mesas y sillas y enormes ventanales a la calle, que durante la mañana hace las veces de desayunador y el resto del día de zona de trabajo y tertulia. A la derecha, en un rincón, una pequeña tienda de conveniencia con artículos médicos, higiénicos, alimentación y bebidas. A continuación dos mostradores individuales, separados, en madera, con unas grandes pantallas sobre los mismos y atendido por una joven de color. Suelos en mármol blanco y paredes en madera cuidada. Sensación de acogida, calidez y modernidad. Llegamos tarde, muy tarde, y la joven simplemente nos pregunta el nombre de la reserva y automáticamente nos entrega las dos tarjetas que hacen de llave de la habitación en una cartulina. Todo está ya preparado para que nos vayamos a descansar cuanto antes. Mientras estamos yendo hacia el ascensor nos indica el funcionamiento del wifi -veloz, gratuito y estable en todo el hotel- y el madrugador horario del desayuno. A su lado, y antes de los dos enormes ascensores de puertas metálicas automáticas, hay varios cuadros con motivos alusivos a las montañas Rocosas. Igualmente, un mural recuerda el origen del nombre de la cadena. Los dos ascensores son nuevos y modernos. Amplios. En su interior: paredes metálicas y suelo de mármol blanquecino, un pequeño anuncio sobre el programa de fidelización de la cadena y una compleja botonadura con algunos pisos de acceso cerrado con llaves y demasiados botones de emergencia y comunicación. First let me say that I normally post very positive reviews but that is not the case this time. Also, I can only speak for the room we were in which was 413. The room was very clean and you could smell the sanitizer when we first walked in the room. It was not overpowering but you could smell it. My issues with this particular room were the bathroom. The lighting was extremely poor and it was not conducive to applying makeup. Also, the shower is not setup very user friendly. The door can swing in or out but it is positioned so that when you turn on the water to warm it up you have to step in and get blasted with cold water. Not something I cherish to have happen. At one point during our stay two out of three elevators were out of order. When we left there was still one elevator that was out of order and had been most of our stay. The front desk staff was not friendly and no one at the desk gave me a warm and fuzzy glad you are here feeling. The best of the staff is in the restaurant and the shuttle driver. Shout out to Kookie, Jessica, Fernando and Jason in the restaurant. They definitely know how to interact with the guests and make you feel welcomed. Austin the shuttle driver was friendly and courteous. I would love to give this hotel an excellent rating but in my humble opinion nothing except the restaurant and shuttle driver are worthy.

Stayed there for about three weeks. It was a consistent experience. Mostly good and consistent breakfast. Enough restaurants, stores at walking distance. Ample parking space. Nice staff. Lived upto expectations. In my preference list for long stays in Denver

Everything was a okay no complaints besides that the breakfast I was looking forward to since my last hotel stay ( different business) did not offer breakfast because of covid..to find out breakfast is only a mini cereal bowl / multi grain bars. No hot breakfast like I assumed when I was told that breakfast was offered. My fault for assuming and again that I understand is a state precautions not the companies fault.

Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center Pros: -Beautiful hotel -Activities for kids (some with additional fees) -Clean Cons: -Multiple staff were not very knowledgeable about the hotel amenities nor locations of things. Check-in staff was not friendly -Hard to find a place to roast s’mores since multiple fire pits were out and staff said they couldn’t turn them on -Not a lot of breakfast option during the weekday -Overpriced My family, 3 adults/2 kids(5 & under), visited the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center this August (2024). It was our first time in Denver and we were really looking forward to our stay at Gaylord. The hotel was about a 10 minute drive from the airport. Not much restaurants or things to do were close to the hotel but we were ok with that. Upon arrival the first thing we noticed was how grand and beautiful the hotel was. The grounds and hotel overall were very well kept and updated. We arrived in the afternoon and did not have a wait to check in. The gentlemen who assisted with check in was not very happy with life. Didn’t smile and was not very helpful. Instead of welcoming me and telling me about the resort, I had to ask him all the things including: Where was my room located? Did I need a key to get into the pool? Would towels be available at the pool? My room also came with a $50/night resort credit, parking was pre-paid, and we pre-paid for s’mores vouchers as well. None of that was explained or given to me until I asked about each one. If I never asked, I probably would have never received all the things I pre-paid for which is frustrating when I are already spent and planned so much. In addition, I even had to contact the resort after I left because the $50 credit was not applied one of the nights. Once we arrived to our room, we found it comfortable and had great service daily from the housekeeping staff. Water park: My kids enjoyed the water park area. The outdoor slides that accommodated my 5 year old were a big hit. My little one enjoyed the shallow end of the pool where he could stand and play. The highlight for the adults was the lazy river. Towels are available at the pool. Finding chairs poolside were a little difficult on the weekends with how busy the resort was. Not a big deal for us when we showed up before 10am. One downside was when we asked various staff questions like how to get to a certain place within the resort or what was a good restaurant to go to in the resort, many could not answer our questions. One even replied “I’m sorry I don’t know, I’ve never been around inside“ I thought this was a strange response being that they worked there. This was poor customer service in my opinion. 3D wildlife rescue & Live animals My family enjoyed exploring and hunting for the digital animals scattered throughout the lobby. In order to participate, we had to scan a code on the floor and then download the app. Once in the app, you can scan each code on the floor and a 3D animal would pop up on t

We loved this hotel. It was Pet friendly with a reasonable rate which was one of the reasons we chose it. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Hot breakfast daily was great and The Socials they have Mon - Wed were an added bonus. Would definitely stay again!

This was the second time I stayed at this hotel. First, the good. The room was large. Air conditioning/heater fan would run without cutting off. Pillows and bedding were soft. There were two TV’s. The room was quiet. The staff were pleasant. Located next to Applebees and Rosie’s Diner. Now the not so good. I didn’t like the $50 damage deposit. I didn’t like that we were charged for our entire stay on the first night of our planned six night stay. We left after the first night. It took a week to have our money refunded. Although the room was large, it was poorly maintained. Light bulbs were out or missing. Dirty hand prints on the curtains, peeling paint, repurposed cabinets, the entry door was so misaligned light would shine through. There were also vehicles in the parking lot that appeared not to have been moved in a few days judging from the amount of snow accumulated on them, as well as an old Class C motorhome in the parking lot that was in poor condition. Once I returned home, I realized that my final bill and and refund did not seem quite right. Reading over the details on my folio, the $50 deposit fee had been changed to an ‘admin.’ fee. I sent an email to the hotel general manager who said the person who checked me out made a mistake and sent me a new folio showing the money returned to my credit card. I suspect it will take another week for the refund to show up. The first thing I did after learning the hotel charges a $50 damage deposit was to take photos of the room in case there would be a problem upon checkout. I should also say that when my first folio was given to me, the $50 damage deposit was included in the total, but not listed on the folio. I had to request an itemized folio which was then provided.
