Brilliant staff, a great location and the cleanliness is brilliant, the staff and security are very attentive and so so helpful. I really recommend SOJO if you're looking for a good place to relax, they have a gym, a relaxation room, amazing comfortable soft beds and a great selection of channels in English, for those lazy TV days.
The environment is great, the staff is super nice 👍, they answered our questions very carefully, and the breakfast is great 😍. Special thanks to the front desk sister Khanh Le, Huyen, and Nhat Le who helped coordinate the room later.
A really really nice hotel, especially considering that it is in the middle of nowhere. Not much things to do in Mai Chau, but the hotel is a great place to stay overnight.
Saigon Phu Tho Hotel is excellent overall. Its location is excellent, with convenient transportation, shopping, and dining options. The elegant interior, clean and tidy rooms, well-equipped facilities, and comfortable bedding ensure a good night's rest. The staff is friendly and attentive, and check-in and check-out are quick and efficient. The breakfast is also varied and delicious. While some of the facilities may seem a bit dated, this doesn't detract from the overall experience. This is a good value hotel and highly recommended.
Hotel:
This was the worst value-for-money hotel I've stayed at in Vietnam. Room rates were significantly higher during the holidays, and booking two weeks in advance was even more expensive than booking just one day prior.
The room was small, and the facilities were basic and outdated. The hairdryer only blew cold air, making it extremely difficult to dry hair. Our double room only had one chair and no sofa. The shower water temperature was inconsistent, fluctuating between hot and cold, and the shower partition leaked water all over the bathroom floor.
The corridors weren't carpeted, and the room doors offered poor sound insulation. The hotel is spread across multiple buildings; ours was street-facing and looked directly onto other buildings.
The restaurant, however, was good – both the food and the views were excellent, offering the most popular photo opportunities. This was its only real highlight.
Tam Dao:
It's close enough for a weekend trip to see the mountain mist. However, apart from that, it's mostly artificial 'influencer' photo spots, which are crowded and noisy. A colleague made a last-minute booking for a hotel halfway up the mountain. We soon discovered that the mountain road is one-way, narrow, winding, and packed with fast-moving traffic. Walking up or down was extremely unsafe, and taxis had to take long detours, making fares expensive. The next day, we were forced to move to a hotel at the mountaintop (the largest one on the mountaintop square, which had significantly better facilities and more space, and surprisingly, wasn't more expensive).
This is the best romantic hotel ever! everything was amazing the decor, the rooms, the staff, the food, the location, the parking garage, they really did a top quality job for us and we will be back!
The location is a bit of a drawback, being over an hour from downtown Hanoi and 40 minutes from Noi Bai Airport. However, that aside, the room facilities and condition, along with the pool, arcade, sauna, and spa (massage), are quite attractive to Korean tourists. I especially appreciated the friendliness of the staff.
In bad weather, I recommend a room in the main building, which offers walking access to the breakfast restaurant, pool, sauna, and spa. The private pool villas don't seem to be as appealing in colder seasons.
The hotel is located next to the big lake so it’s very convenient and nice to walk around during the Tet new year light festival around the lake. They don’t have much option for vegetarians at the breakfast buffet but was very kind to prepare some cooked vegetables upon request.
It was a dream stay in the wonderful resort! The villa is great, the pool and the viewpoint offer wonderful views over the mountains and rice terraces! The breakfast is great, Vietnamese and western.

IIrish Jane GantalaoWe had a wonderful stay at the villa! The place is beautiful, well-maintained, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights was being able to cook our own meals, which added to the cozy, homely vibe of our stay.
The caretaker was very accommodating and helpful throughout, making sure we had everything we needed and were comfortable.
One suggestion for improvement would be to add lighting inside the pool. While there are two lights outside near the pool, it still gets quite dark at night, which limits nighttime swimming or poolside relaxation.
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying again. With just a few small enhancements, it could be even more perfect!

GgoodjiaI searched Google Maps and drove, but the location was not accurate.
There are not many restaurants around the hotel because it is rural. (You have to go out more than 10KM to find a restaurant)
The staff at the hotel were so friendly.
Room condition is very good.
The pool is not well maintained, there is no towel to wipe your body after swimming, and the water temperature is not warm.
More than 90% of hotel guests are Vietnamese, most of them are polite when swimming and smell of sweat in the water.
I personally don't think I'll visit again because of Vietnamese guests.
LLukeeeyI was visiting a friend who lives in this part of Hanoi, and she recommended this hotel. It is pretty new, and it shows. When I arrived on a Saturday, lots of young girls were taking selfies in the elegant reception area and the adjoining cafe. I particularly liked the fact the hotel was so accepting. The staff spoke English, and were friendly, and the hotel was excellent. I highly recommend it, especially considering it was exceptionally cheap for the clean, modern decor and location (assuming you're visiting this area). Very pleased :)

GGuest UserA very nice and clean place. Great facilities to relax in a comfortable atmosphere. Rooms are cleaned daily. I'd highly recommend staying at this place considering what you get for the price. Only drawback is that this is a big far from the centre of the city, but it's a close enough walk. And being a little further out makes it a quieter place.
YYing KullapetLocation is great, near by the square.
In my visit period, there’re construction beside the hotel, noisy start from 7.00am along the day. I can’t sleep well so I asked hotel manager to changed the room and they changed the new room for me with stunning view. Show the spirit of service mind.
But 1 more concern due to the walls are thin, so I can clearly hear noises from the surrounding rooms—talking, footsteps, stomping, even furniture being moved. It’s really not recommend for light sleepers.
SSaeed- PHI had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The rooms were very comfortable, clean, and extremely satisfying. One of the highlights was the free orange-picking activity, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout our stay. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway.
