Our stay in the Hotel was amazing. Everything was clean and well taken care of. The hike up to the bright peak is only 15 minutes to watch a beautiful sunrise. Breakfast is rich and varied. Our stay was especially wonderful because of the kind service provided by Xiao Yang. She was always available and very helpful to us and answered all of our many questions. She is an excellent hotel employee!

This was the most expensive hotel in my whole China trip by far but it was also the best restaurant with amazing breakfast options. The room was just okay, not bad but not worth the price and it had no view from the room even though it is marked as Mountain View. It is also far (about 1 hour hike) away from the closest popular points to watch sunrise and sunset. I would consider a different hotel next time that is closer to the hiking route because it took us almost 8 hours to hike here after taking the Yuping cable way up. It was almost dark when we arrived at the hotel and we headed up the mountain at 9 am.

I was upgraded to a suite, which was a nice surprise me. The staff was nice in general, and responded quickly to my requests. There are some areas for improvement. At the breakfast, I ordered dumpling. The service staff, who prepared dumpling for me, did not wear a mask. I saw him using his dirty hands, which just cleaned his nose, to add ingredients to the bowl. This was disgusting. The signs for the elevators near the entrance to the mall are misleading in indicating the floors that the elevators can reach.

We were please to stay in your Hotel and can recommend this Hotel.  A very friendly check in! The receptionist was very kind and courteous. There was also directly the Agent who get in touch with us. Via WeChat he gave us a lot of information about the current weather in Huangshan Mountain, the times of the sunset, sunrise and was any time available via WeChat for other questions or support. Then he brought us the our room. Our room was very nice decorated and equipped with everything you need. It was also very clean. The most noticeable were the modern shower and toilet! We had a breakfast and dinner in the Hotel. Both of them was a Buffet with a large selection of different dishes with high quality. At this point a great thanks to the kitchen staff. Very conveniently located right opposite the huangshan scenic area bus station/entry point. Hotel upgraded me to a suite, which was a pleasant surprise. Lots of eating places around. Modern and clean. Would recommend and stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

Although the price is definitely a little high, it makes sense for a hotel situated on top of a mountain. The public areas were bright and spotless. The room I booked was comfortable and mostly clean. The bathroom did have bits of black on the ceiling. Can’t beat the location though, as it’s close to a great spot to watch the sunset/sunrise. Appreciate especially the helpful service and timely communication from Kai at the front desk, who was also kind enough to share his photography of the night sky. I was able to get a few cool shots at a scenic outlook he had recommended. Maybe because I went a little late, but the dinner buffet was pretty mediocre. Overall a very good stay. Would book again, but maybe choose other food options.

They noticed me standing outside in the cold for quite a bit after I checked out and assumed I needed assistance so one of them went outside to ask where I needed to go next. I was actually just waiting for my Didi but I appreciated the gesture. I would definitely stay here again.

The presence of a freestanding soaking bathtub next to the window added an enticing element, creating a truly relaxing environment. 3. The room was tastefully appointed with modern amenities, including a water boiler and a secure deposit box. My stay was exceptionally delightful. The room's expansive layout and carefully considered design enhanced its overall comfort. The capacious and exquisitely cozy bed, harmoniously combined with the room's color palette and decor, established an aesthetically pleasing ambiance. 4. The buffet offerings were a feast of opulence and indulgence. We savored the extensive array of dishes. Additionally, the executive Club lounge on the 24th floor presented an opulent buffet dinner alongside an array of delightful beverages. The buffet breakfast on the first floor consistently maintained a high standard. The buffets presented were resplendent, featuring a plethora of options for us to relish. 5. The reception staff warrants special recognition, embodying not only friendliness but also impressive efficiency and accommodation. In particular, Ms. He (何小姐）, from the Service Center, exuded a warm and welcoming demeanor. I was elated when my modest request for a late check-out was graciously fulfilled. Such a positive service attitude is undeniably commendable. My sole regret is that my stay at the Intercontinental Hotel was confined to a single day. The next time I have the opportunity to visit Hefei, I will assuredly opt for the InterContinental Hotel once more!

This was a fantastic stay. My wife and I visited Huangshan for a single day and stayed the night here. The room was spacious and cosy, the staff was very accommodating, welcoming and helpful. They helped us navigate how to visit Huangshan Mountain and return again. They even planned our trip! We can definitely recommend staying here. A big thank you to the staff for making this stay very pleasant.

This is a small family run hostel. It is very close to Huangshan North station. The owner offers free pick up and drop off to the station. Alex as the owner was very helpful during our stay at his place. He gave us suggestions on what we can do and helped us to book vehicle to go to Hongcun village and Huangshan mountain. We will definitely come back here again. Thank you very much for making our holiday perfect 😊

Loved this beautiful historic homestay. Clean and neat and beautifully decorated. Welcoming host who spoke great English and comforting breakfast. the second bed was a bit hard for our family that is not used to hard beds, but the other main bed was fine. the water pressure in the shower was fantastic. the location is ideal for exploring the old street

The hotel has a great location and convenient transportation. There are shopping malls and aquariums nearby. It is very convenient for shopping and taking the kids out. It is very cost-effective. The front desk service is great. I will stay there again next time!

It locates near the lake, so there's awesome and gorgeous view. I can see very beautiful lake on the balcony in my room. There are several big hotels around the lake. This Novotel has the best lake view. The distance to the Chaohu Lake is not far. Renting a car is the best choice. This location is nearly the edge of service areas of the shared electric bicycles. There are many merchants near this Novotel. It's very convenient to buy food and daily supplies. It's really an unforgettable travel. Next time I would select this Novotel again.

My mother lives near the Olympic Sports Center. She always stays in the surrounding area when she comes here every year. She has stayed at Langham and Grand Hyatt. The first time I lived in a house with 200 years of history! Parts of it looks like a museum, but the rooms are modernized in a nice way! Seriously, it looks like a fancy tea place or a private mansion, never expected a hotel like this! The owner lady was very nice, showed the way to the place (navigation in the village is a bit difficult for a newcomer) and helped to change the room to a single bed when heard that my friend was not coming. Very friendly approach! I would recommend this place to anyone, who would like to get an authentic experience of Hongcun village!

Wonderful place! Really like the architecture and what a luxury to have a bath! 这个房子很美丽！值得带！The staff was very friendly. I give 4 stars on service and not 5 as I have been spoilt by exceptional service in other places where hosts gave explanations about the location or helped with practicalities. One tip: get rid of mosquitos before guests check in or provide a mosquito net above the bed.

There are many types of guest rooms with different styles. Almost all of them feature Chinese retro style. The carved wooden beds, wooden couches and dressing tables are all antique designs. The calligraphy, paintings and porcelain in the room highlight the famous Hui school. The door is an antique wooden door latch. key. The facilities in the bathroom are absolutely high-end. Dyson hair dryers and Hermès bath products are both rich in history and considerate. The owner lives with his guests and has four cats, several courtyards, and a beautiful swimming pool. He asked about the soundproofing at night, prepared a heart-warming breakfast in the morning, took our luggage all the way from the parking lot to the CI, dragged our luggage up the narrow stairs of the old house, and used a small electric donkey to carry our luggage again before we left. Return to the parking lot. I want to say here that the wooden stairs in the old Hui-style houses are narrow and shaky, and the sound insulation between the rooms is not very good. If you come to immerse yourself in the old house life, don’t complain and pay more attention to yourself. In short, this place really made my impression of Hongcun become more beautiful and full of nostalgia. It is undoubtedly the best private hotel in the village, and it feels like a dream that I will never wake up from.

The hotel is not far from the west gate of Hongcun, and there are cars available for pick-up and drop-off.
