The hotel is conveniently located right in the city center. The hotel is clean, with fresh linens and plenty of restrooms and showers. The staff is helpful. However, I should note that there is no elevator, so lugging luggage up the narrow, steep stairs is quite difficult. The kitchen is small, so it can get crowded if a lot of people are cooking or eating at the same time.
Easy check-in and out process, good location, could actually walk to Cataract George Reserve. Sufficient parking lot. An interesting place to stay with some activity within the hotel premises. The room was a bit too dim, even though they provided several lights, but all were yellow lights. There is noise (water flow?) that would be quite disturbing if you are a light sleeper.
Standard motel, with average facilities and cleanliness. You can park right in front of your room. The room has a balcony facing the road and the sea, offering an expansive view. The town is small and quiet, and the hotel is within walking distance of attractions. However, it's best to book restaurants in advance, as they might be closed if you go late. Drinking water isn't provided, and when I tried to buy some after 9 PM, I couldn't find any open shops in town. If you want to see penguins, it's best to join a tour; it's hard to find them on your own. But the sunset near Lobster Shack is truly beautiful!

The whole house is split into two levels: the bedroom upstairs, and the bathroom, kitchen, and living room downstairs. The bedding was clean, and the kitchen facilities met basic needs. The bathroom was spacious. The only drawback: both the living room and bedroom had dark navy carpets, which made them feel a bit unclean. Maybe it's just me, as a Chinese person, but I'd prefer tile or wooden flooring.

The motel itself is actually not bad. Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be worse. But the rooms are fresh and clean.
It lacks air conditioning though. It was cold at night and hot during the day.
Also, a suggestion for the owners – it would be great to have at least a microwave downstairs. Sometimes you just want to heat something up for a quick bite, but...
And there can be issues with parking spots. There aren't many spaces available. It's first-come, first-served.

Location super! Everyone liked the restraint, delicious coffee and a common room with plants. We enjoyed being there! Thanks to girls for caring, smiles and luggage storage! Jimmy for the recommendation to visit the market.
Also pleasantly rejoiced the showers - spacious and clean.
The room was small but comfortable. No air conditioner. We were airlifted through the upper window. We will be bored! And recommended for living in Hobart. Comfortably, acceptable at price and everything you need - next to.
The high-end motel built by the lake, the car stops at the door of the room. The furniture is quite new, close to the yacht club, the surrounding scenery is very good, in fact, it is worth staying a few more nights. The reception was warm and I sent sweets when I left, super nice
Excellent site to look over The Nuts and galaxy in the evening. Beautiful sunset and sunrise just in front of my room. Close to Stanley Photo Frame which just locates at the back of the Inn. Thanks to Romeo for booking the Hursey Seafoods which serves tasty crayfish and abalone!!
It was convenient because there was a parking lot within walking distance of the city. A typical Australian hotel, the first floor of the building is a pub, which is convenient for those who can drink at popular shops. There was a cafe nearby that was open from 6 am and the bread was delicious. There was also a Japanese lunch box opposite the hotel.
Not bad hotel. But there were no tea bags, no milk. Cutlery looks extremely poor. All was from different set, some from hiking set. Also a lot of dust on the bathroom lights. To fix these problems will cost almost nothing, but it will improve the impression. And the final problem is parking. If you return late, there will be no parking place for you.

AAiqinhaixingxingThe room was very nice, the boss was very nice, and he also provided a rich breakfast. It is also very convenient to go to various tourist attractions. It's also very close to the city. The overall feeling of staying here is very relaxing!
YYao LungThe room photos on Trip.com were taken when the room was brand new. It clearly is no longer the case now - some staining on the curtains and soft furniture and marks on walls. Overall, for the price, it's still acceptable.
Check-in is done at the bar like most similar types of accommodation above a pub.
Bedding is exceptionally comfortable - special mention of the supremely comfortable mattress and pillows. 5-star bed.
Water pressure in the shower is weak - 60% of what I would have liked.
Bottled water and milk in the fridge is a nice touch. Crockery and cutlery provided in the kitchen.
You will have to lug your luggage up 1 flight of stairs as there's no lift.
MMattyFThe bed was large and very comfortable. The bathroom was very large too. It was all clean. Most guest rooms are in annexes, with reception and dining in the old building (old for Oz, anyway) which boasts a bit of style. Breakfast was quite good but items such as bacon and scrambled eggs did not stay very hot about the buffet. I liked the sourdough. Reception was prompt and professional. Now the minor dislikes: it’s a good 30 minute walk from the CBD / waterfront, up a bit of hill all the way. (There is an area with plenty of bars etc about half way). I walked several times a day and it was OK. Most guests will have cars though. The living area in the room needed a TV. If there can only be one TV per room, it would be better there than in front of the bed in my opinion. Finally, one of the two wardrobes is locked up, presumably to store linen etc. The other only has hanging space so there was no shelving. I felt a little cheated that half of “my” potential wardrobe space was denied to me! On balance, I would consider staying again, even though it is a little way out of town. Overall it is large, clean, comfortable and manages a little style.
SShiElaineIt is a cabin in the national park. The room is very cold when you enter. You need to light a fire for several hours to warm it up. It is too hot to sleep at night. The heating lamp in the toilet is broken and it is very cold to go to the toilet. The bedroom is on the second floor and the toilet is on the first floor next to the door, which is a bit inconvenient. The water from the tap is yellow and it is still yellow after a long time. No bottled water is provided.
SShuk Fun KittyGood location, friendly check in and close to the city, go for nearby restaurant for breakfast in walking distance. Small playground for kids. With electric blanket during winter which is very comfortable.

GGuest UserSecond stay at Nightcap Riverside. Price point was my main motivation, I paid $130 for the night.
Rooms are very comfortable, clean, well equiped, well heated .Renovated.
Bed was very comfortable, black out blinds good. Hotel internet signal strong and good speeds. Location is about 5 kms north of the CBD, need a car. a 20 minute drive from the airport. Meals at the Riverside Tavern next door typical pub meals, large servings and reasonable quality. A small convenience store just across the road, a Woolworths supermarket about a 3 minute drive away. Some noise from the highway nearby, but quiet during the night. Fair bit of noise early ( circa 6 am on ) as early morning workers driving past, and quite a few “ tradies “ stay at Nightcap Riverside and start early. Didn’t bother me as I rise early also, but don’t expect a sleep in.
Overall, very good value for the price point.

GGuest UserRight in the heart of Cradle Mountain, the surroundings are, of course, incredible. The rustic cabins are perfect for families, and the facilities are quite good too. The only thing is they don't have a restaurant, so you'll need to buy some food to bring up or head to Peppers for a meal.
