MM547946****Last time I came to Beijing with my kids, we stayed at Atour near the South Station. This time, I was here alone for a course and found this hotel close to my training venue. Once I checked in, I realized its location was excellent, very close to all the major attractions. There are also many great food options around the hotel, with Beijing's signature dishes like Yin San Douzhi, Wuyutai, Fangzhuan Factory 69 Zhajiangmian, Nanmen Hotpot, and roast meat all within about 500 meters. It's incredibly convenient for dining, entertainment, and shopping!
The hotel has a Jinshan-style decor, with blue brick accents, wooden carvings, and retro lanterns, bringing the charm of Qiao Family Courtyard right into the hotel. The hotel is connected to a restaurant. When I first arrived, I wasn't sure where the hotel entrance was, so I asked a staff member and they directed me to the front desk.
The front desk staff were very enthusiastic and upgraded my room, which had much better natural light! I suddenly needed an iron, and they brought it to my room. I also needed a hair tie, and they provided it promptly. When I checked out, they even gave me a small farewell gift and escorted me to the door. Then, the staff at the entrance waited with me in the cold wind for a taxi and stayed until I was safely in the car before leaving.
The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive! Really went above and beyond! 👍👍
The most pleasant surprise was the breakfast. Although the variety wasn't huge, the food was delicious! This might be because the hotel is also a restaurant. In the evening, I also received a complimentary pot of Xiaodiao Litang (stewed pear soup), which was a wonderful surprise! The Xiaodiao Litang was much better than what you buy outside, and it had plenty of ingredients!
I really enjoyed this stay! I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Beijing, and I highly recommend it to any friends traveling to Beijing~
