Ok for tourists coming here for a layover, here is what you need to know. Free pick up: when you arrive at arrivals, go up to the 4th floor (departures level), exit the airport and there will be big numbered boards. The pick up spot is number 5. From here, call the hotel (they use a translation app). You can catch some WiFi inside the airport so you'll have to call from inside or near the wall of the airport. The van says ”floral hotel” on it so it's easy to find. If you find someone on the plane who speaks mandarin and English you can get them to help you call and check the instructions. The place is nice and clean, a little run down. Staff were very helpful. I had to try every plug socket to find one that fit my universal adapter but I did find out eventually Food: you can download Alipay to pay for food, it's easy to use but you need internet for it to work. At around 6pm a night market opened up right outside the hotel, although I didn't try the food it looked good. Also when I left the hotel at 5am there was a street food vendor outside so you have an option if you leave before breakfast.

Staying here feels like stepping back into the 1990s municipal government guesthouse; a plaque at the entrance even reads ”Shihe Hotel Militia Company,” though I forgot to take a picture, which gives you an idea of ​​the hotel's former prestige. Although it's a three-star hotel, it lives up to its reputation as a long-established hotel. The location is excellent, and the facilities are still complete, though a bit dated. However, the price-performance ratio is quite high; the room rate is reasonable, and parking is convenient and free. It would be even better if breakfast were included. Next door, there's a large sports field open to the public, where many people run, play ball, and exercise. The nearby Shihe Park is also very lively, making it very convenient for sightseeing in Xinyang.

It’s a really fun stay for my kids, there’s 2 cats that hangs out at the lobby. The location is close to two night markets and fun to go out every night with the kids. The ladies at the front office was really nice, they help me with the laundry while we’re out exploring the city. The breakfast was at a nearby restaurant stall with mutton soup, very yummy! The window view of the riverside in the room is relaxing. We were window watching locals fishing sometimes. Fun stay, especially with the cats!

Only ten minutes away from the airport. Good pick up and drop off service. Breakfast was empty, nothing to eat at 8:30 AM..... an army of old people ate everything and the hotel staff doesn't care to refill basic things like Bao zi, tea eggs, amd rice porridge. The gym looks pretty decent at the hotel. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are good quality. The walls and carpet are dirty.

The hotel's price/performance ratio is very good, clean and hygienic service attitude is also very good, the hotel has a separate parking lot, friends who drive don't have to worry about no parking spaces, five-star praise.

The hotel is beautiful and very comfortable. Anything I needed, I just contacted the front desk and they took care of it quickly. The location is super convenient, really close to both the subway and bus stations. I was lucky enough to visit when it snowed, and the snowy scenery was absolutely stunning. After exploring all day, it was so nice to go for a stroll around Luoyi Ancient City in the evening. It's been quite chilly lately though; I almost just wanted to stay cozy in the hotel all day! 😋

It is better than the service of Huazhu Club and Jinjiangyan. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area.
