3-Star Hotels in Henan, China

Thanks to Henan Tourism for issuing the coupons, and thanks to the hotel for upgrading to a king-size bed room with window. The price-performance ratio is amazing. It is the most cost-effective hotel for this trip! Facilities: The only minor problem is that the bathroom floor drain is a bit slow, and it will overflow if you take a shower for too long. Everything else is good, the air conditioning is also powerful, and there is a free laundry room. I am used to bringing my own laundry detergent, but I can also use the one in the store. There is also a dryer, so I don't have to worry about my clothes not drying.

The most striking thing about this stay was the hotel's ambiance! The elegant lobby, with warm chandelier lighting and greenery, creates a relaxing atmosphere the moment you enter. The view from the room was stunning, with a verdant courtyard just outside the window. In the morning, you could hear birdsong, and at night, it was incredibly quiet. The room was thoughtfully decorated, with textured wooden furniture and fresh greenery. The air was odorless, and the cleanliness was meticulous, even the cracks in the tabletops were spotless. The carpeted hallways in the public areas were completely silent, and the elevator lobby was decorated with art, creating a sense of class. Staying here felt like living in a small garden, completely relaxing both physically and mentally. Those with a love for ambiance will truly love it!

Located in the heart of the old city, the Shihe Hotel occupies a vast area with an extravagantly large parking lot. Staying here feels like stepping back into the 1990s municipal government guesthouse; a plaque at the entrance even reads ”Shihe Hotel Militia Company,” though I forgot to take a picture, which gives you an idea of ​​the hotel's former prestige. Although it's a three-star hotel, it lives up to its reputation as a long-established hotel. The location is excellent, and the facilities are still complete, though a bit dated. However, the price-performance ratio is quite high; the room rate is reasonable, and parking is convenient and free. It would be even better if breakfast were included. Next door, there's a large sports field open to the public, where many people run, play ball, and exercise. The nearby Shihe Park is also very lively, making it very convenient for sightseeing in Xinyang.

This location is perfect! It's so close to all the ancient city that going back to our room for a toilet run isn't too inconvenient as compared to looking for a public toilet. The hotel is still slightly off the main street therefore there's not much traffic and noise. The staff are very helpful, and helped to carry our luggage to our room. They also help us to get admission to the ancient city since foreigners aren't able to register for entry. The main bad point is cars are not able to reach the hotel so you'll have to walk quite a distance. There are no lifts so you'll need to get the staff to carry your luggage if you live on the second floor. The hotel is slightly old, while mostly well maintained and clean, there will be spots where it would be difficult to remove stains from age.

I stayed for three nights. The hotel is located within the Tongtuo Muyu scenic area, which is small and not yet officially open, so there aren't many tourists, mostly local residents. The room was spacious, with the famous Chan River visible from the window. The windows were well-sealed; once closed, you couldn't hear the sound of the water. You can control the lights and curtains by voice, which is great for winter. The breakfast selection was rich, and the old lamb soup with bread (paomo) comes highly recommended (you need to go to the restaurant to eat it yourself). Both the staff and the cat were incredibly welcoming; the cat would even follow me to my room and actively ask for scratches. A small suggestion: the blue light on the smart toilet seat was a bit bright at night, and I couldn't figure out how to turn it off.

I stayed in a guesthouse I absolutely loved. Location: It's a 5-minute walk from attractions (Luoyi Old Town) and the subway station. Plus, there are supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants all around, and the host provides a detailed introduction upon check-in. Room facilities: The room is spacious enough, and the facilities are well-maintained. Disposable items (bath towels, face towels) are plentiful and of good quality. The air conditioning kept the room very warm in this weather. Cleanliness: Super clean, even better than some more expensive hotels. Service: They go above and beyond to meet your needs, big or small, and answer all your questions. They even gave us a fridge magnet as a parting gift. In summary, this guesthouse has excellent facilities, and the hosts (a brother and sister) are incredibly kind and 'professional' in every sense of the word. I'll definitely recommend it to friends visiting Luoyang in the future. May the scenery of Luoyang bring renewed joy next spring.

The location of the hotel is good, and the surrounding area looks a bit small and bustling. The lobby is not too big, but the younger brothers and sisters at the front desk are not only handsome and beautiful, but also have a good service attitude. The room is not big. The small table that should have been arranged in front of the window was placed in front of the TV. The 2 chairs are not a style. It seems to be a bit casual. It does not match the image of the 3-star hotel, but it does not affect the use. Back to the hotel in the afternoon, the kitchen department sells cooked food at the entrance of the store. It won't be a road operation, right? I also bought a copy for convenience, saying that there is no staple food, and I went to the neighborhood to buy 2 buns, even if it was dinner. Breakfast looks rich, no meat dishes, you can give 70 points, you can also fry eggs yourself, fried eggs are quite a lot of people, I want to fry two, a little anxious, put together to fry, the result of fried eggs into scrambled eggs, it seems not too ugly.

It was such a pleasant stay! The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and a rare gem in a bustling area. The room was immaculately cleaned, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the windows were spotlessly clean, offering a clear view of the scenery. The facilities are all modern and well-equipped, and the staff are friendly and helpful, promptly resolving any issues. It was a truly wonderful stay.

This guesthouse is fantastic. The owner is very friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean, and I stayed for two nights. Each morning, I was greeted by a breathtaking view of Yuntai Mountain right from my room. You can also see the cable car ascending Phoenix Ridge. I highly recommend staying here.
