I was staying at the hotel due to an important business meeting the next day, unfortunately my sleep was broken at 2am with a fire alarm going off due to other hotel guests, I was expecting some kind of kind refund or a discount off my next stay as I have used this hotel to stay for business many times before but nothing was offered and the interruption in my sleep affected my business meeting the next day, very disappointed in the way this was handled.
We stayed at Orchid Epsom for 10 days and had a truly comfortable and pleasant experience. The hotel is very well located with good accessibility to both local transport and nearby attractions, making it easy for us to get around during our trip.
The property is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained — perfect for families looking for a calm place to return to after a busy day in London.
What really stood out was the wonderful staff who made our stay memorable. A big thank you to Akhil, Nikhil, Abhishek, Hava, Safa, Ali, Darshini, and Laura — each of them went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and taken care of. Their friendly attitude, helpful suggestions, and warm hospitality made us feel at home.
Overall, Orchid Epsom is a great choice for anyone visiting the area — a peaceful stay with exceptional staff and great service. Highly recommended, and we’d happily stay here again.
Lovely hotel! Would definitely stay again. On the same street as all the shops. The staff are incredibly friendly. Room service is excellent. My son was poorly so ordered a lot to our room and came within 20 mins. Room was spotless. Cannot fault.
The hotel needs some cleaning and renovation in the rooms, but the receptionist is very nice.
I felt very well received.
I recommend it if you need it in case of an emergency one or two nights.
My daughter and I enjoyed a good stay at Travelodge Camberley! The reception was attentive and offered quick and helpful remedy to a couple of little snags, few doing our 10 day stay!
A small annoying detail but important during our stay for the Queens Jubilee we was the poor quality of the tv signal!.
Otherwise breakfast was great, so I recommend Travelodge without hesitation.
The hotel is just near by the airport. Good for transit or next day early flight.
It also close to restaurants and markets.
I will like to stay next time when travel to London.
The Travelodge in Woking is well placed ad easy to find. The facilities were good, and the room was clean and tidy.
We had breakfast and enjoyed it though the fruit we normally eat had not been delivered. The manager kindly gave us reduction for this omission.
We hope to use Travelodge again our our next outing.
The room facilities are superb, the beds are very comfortable and the pillows are soft and moderate. The bathroom is spacious and bright with advanced spare parts. There is also an advanced entertainment system and free slow Wi-Fi to make the stay experience normal.
If you need high-speed wifi, you need to pay another GBP 5 for 24 hrs
Great stay, the rooms are very well designed, warm and cosy, and right next to the Virginia Water park. The staff were great and there is plenty of parking. All I’ll say on the negative side is that the pastry on the apple tart was soggy… pastry should never be soggy! I even checked with the staff and were told “it’s supposed to be like that” …. But I won’t hold strange soggy pastry against what was a great stay.
There is a supermarket downstairs. It is also convenient for travel. There are not many places to eat nearby, and there is no Chinese food. But the hotel is economical. The experience of coming here this time is very good👍

BBrad mannI stayed in room 3 on the ground floor and I thought the experience as a whole was alright, gets the job done if that’s all you need.
There were some things I thought were a bit strange however.
The shower was the main thing, it was stuck on full power which was crazy fast. It also didn’t stay in place because it was so powerful and kept turning into the wall. When I had pointed it facing out, it would point to the window (which was in the shower) and begin to fill up the window sill. Additionally, the sliding door had broken and it was replaced with a flimsy shower curtain which Barry managed to cover the gap.
The room was a little dark but other than that was fine. The bed was fine too.
Dinner is room service or you can have it in the bar area if you’d like. There isn’t a restaurant however and the bar area isn’t incredibly suitable for a meal with a family, fine on my own though. The menu consisted of pub food and each item was between £11-15 for the majority. There is a pizza and alcohol deal for £15 which is what I had, which was fine.
Breakfast was £11.75 I think and was a buffet in one of the service rooms and was pretty good.
Overall I think my experience was pretty poor but the room was very clean and the staff were very helpful and polite
PPenguinLadyThe hotel is a little dated and worn, so I had some trepidation when I first arrived. However, my room was very clean and comfortable. All the usual amenities. Breakfast was available but I didn’t take it. The only thing I would say is that the rooms are very close together And the doors are quite loud. I was fortunate in that I did not have noisy neighbours but I would imagine if you had people coming and going a lot it would be very irritating.
GGuest UserThis location was perfect for us for a nearby visit. The pub was very popular (almost full) and had a great atmosphere. The car park was very busy with patrons cars. Fortunately we could find a spot but it would be useful if, somehow, Hotel stayers were reserved a space. This could be requested by the hotel upon booking confirmation. Sadly, we did not have time to enjoy the food or drink in the bar before meeting friends. When shown to our room and while carrying over night bags up the stairs, it would have been extra helpful if our door had been opened for us by the staff member to walk straight in before setting those bags down. Small detail to go from 9.5 to a 10/10! After check in we left our room quite soon after to meet friends and only returned after midnight to sleep before next day check out. As a result, we could not really enjoy any service or facilities but the room was fine with an ensuite bathroom. Adequate for our needs. We have stayed before and would stay again should we need to be in the area. Thank you Star Inn
GGuest UserBreakfast should have been served until 10 am. We got into the restaurant 9.15 and there was hardly anything left, One spoonful of scrambled egg which I had to gather from around the pan for my husband - none for me, no bacon, no sausage, no hash brown or tomato. They did have beans!! Having asked and waited, we got a bit of bacon and some sausages that were so hard we could hardly cut them!! Then , at 10am they asked us to leave the room because they had to get it ready for something else. Our bedroom was ok but there was a skylight in the roof and the sun came flooding in just after 4 am so I didn’t sleep. Waste of time having black out curtains at the window when you don’t cover the skylight. The teaspoons on the dressing table had not been washed. The shower was nice but the water came out all over the floor - our friends had the same in their room. All in all not a good experience and I wouldn’t stay there again. I did mention all of this to the reception guy but he just smiled at me. Not sure if he spoke English!
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is just inside the north terminal n very convenient for early flyers. AND! They offer breakfast starting at 4am!! You could easily fill your stomach to begin the day rather than stay at the Costa coffee with poor sleep and constant noise
PPenguinLadyClean and comfortable room with all the usual facilities. Lovely spa and pool - also a gym which I didn’t use. Can’t really comment on service as I only briefly saw someone at check in, but she was very pleasant. A restaurant but I didn’t eat there. Good location for travelling into London the next day.
Minor issue: bath towels are a bit small and thin (and I’m not a big lady!)

NNamrathaThe stay was very comfortable, though the facilities were not similar to Holiday Inn. Very neat and clean rooms. The hospitality of the staff was very good. Overall, it was a very good stay, as the Epsom race course area is also very beautiful. Only minus point is busy facilities are not very nearby from the hotel.
GGuest UserThe location is very nearby Gatwick Airport.
Shuttle bus services are available, you may pay for a round trip fee when boarding the bus. Please do not throw away your shuttle bus receipt, the QR Code on it will be required for the next time.
Breakfast and dinner are served, especially dinner until 10 pm. Bar is 24/7.
The standard room is big, however the curtain for shower is somehow humid, and soundproof is not in good condition.
All in all it is a good choice nearby the airport!
