Choosing the right hotel truly enhanced our trip to Suzhou! Our stay at the Liuxiang Hotel Guanqian Street branch was absolutely fantastic. The hotel's location is superb, right next to Guanqian Street and Pingjiang Road. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for visiting attractions like the Humble Administrator's Garden and museums. The hotel boasts an elegant Chinese garden style with a tranquil environment. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. What stood out the most was the service; from check-in to check-out, the staff were incredibly warm and attentive, even proactively offering sightseeing recommendations. I highly recommend this hotel for both couples and families traveling to Suzhou!

We had a lovely two-night stay at Wenlv Gusu Yard Hotel Donghuali and were very satisfied overall. The hotel has great facilities, a wonderful location, and extremely kind staff. We were also generously upgraded, which made the stay even nicer. The location is excellent - right in the middle of Suzhou old town, on the main pedestrian street, close to key shops, restaurants, and tea places. Since cars cannot enter this part of the old town, the nearest drop-off point is about a 3-minute walk away. Despite being so central, the room was very quiet because the windows faced the side/back areas and the courtyard walls helped create a calm atmosphere. Communication before arrival was very clear. We received a helpful message with all the details on how to get there, including the best DiDi drop-off point, check-in information, stay details, and Wi-Fi instructions. Our room was clean, modern, and very cozy, with a thoughtful mix of traditional character and contemporary comfort. While the room was on the smaller side compared with a standard chain hotel, it never felt cramped. The layout was well designed, the natural light made the space feel open, and the overall atmosphere was warm, calm, and intimate - very much in line with the feeling of a boutique stay in a restored old-town building. The room had windows on each side, allowing for good natural light and airflow, as well as blackout curtains. The bed was very comfortable - on the softer side, which we appreciated, but still supportive. The bathroom came with all necessary amenities and products, and, importantly, did not have any stale water smell, which can sometimes be an issue in hotels in China. The bathroom does not have a traditional door, but there is a non-see-through privacy curtain with magnets on the sides, which worked well and was not a problem for us. The room was also very practical: it included complimentary drinks, including soft drinks, tea, and water, a small refrigerator, and international electricity sockets, which was very convenient for foreign travellers. One especially lovely detail was the climbing jasmine just outside the window - when there was a breeze, the scent came into the room, which was beautiful. The hotel also has two small balconies with seating, offering lovely views over the Suzhou skyline and Gusu rooftops - a nice spot for morning coffee or doing some work. The stairs are quite narrow and there is no elevator, but the staff kindly helped us with our suitcases. The pond and terrace area outside was also lovely, although because of some construction work we could not fully enjoy it during our stay. This was not a problem for us. Breakfast was served as a breakfast box with nine small dishes. The staff also kindly made us coffee and provided milk upon request. There was yogurt as well, which was appreciated. Most of all, the staff were extremely kind, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. They helped with luggage, accommodated our breakfast requests, and made us feel very welcome. Overall, this is a lovely boutique hotel for families, friend groups, or solo travellers who enjoy peace and calmness, while still wanting a modern yet traditional stay right in the centre of Suzhou old town. We would happily recommend it!

This hotel was a hidden gem for my short trip – such a pleasant surprise! It's incredibly conveniently located near tourist attractions. The hotel itself is elegant, quiet, and peaceful. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and impeccably clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the toiletries and storage facilities were all complete. The staff, Mango, Orange, and Apple, were warm, friendly, and efficient in processing my check-in. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I've already recommended it to my friends!

Just had the most incredible stay at Nanjing Yunshuijian Parent-child Resort Hotel! As a foreigner, I was blown away by the laid back atmosphere and abundance of amenities and activities available. From water sports like boating and jetskiing to numerous campsites and restaurants, this place has it all! My personal favorite spot was the Shark Bar restaurant - the owners and staff are phenomenal! The vibe and atmosphere are unbeatable. Highly recommend checking it out if you get the chance. A huge shoutout to the hotel staff and managers for providing exceptional customer service throughout our stay. The hotel's location is in the core area of Pingjiang Road, and it's also very close to the Couple's Retreat Garden, within walking distance. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling crowds; while outside is swarming with people, the hotel itself is incredibly peaceful. The complimentary Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) performance was very professional, featuring both performance and commentary, along with tea and small snacks. The atmosphere was fantastic. Right behind the hotel is the Kunqu Opera Museum, but we went to the Zhuangyuan Mansion to listen to Kunqu in the evening, which wasn't far either, just a short walk. A major advantage of this hotel is its incredible convenience for sightseeing. You can truly experience the prosperity and charm of Pingjiang Road, and when you're tired, you can just return to the hotel to rest, then head back out to explore after recharging. There are many delicious eateries downstairs… It's very convenient for traveling with seniors and children. If I had to point out a downside, it's that the location is too central, making it difficult to get a taxi. We had a lot of luggage and had to push it through the crowds for about 500 meters to the main road before we could hail a taxi. It also felt like taxi drivers were reluctant to come to that area, probably because of the sheer number of people and traffic congestion. However, I noticed that the subway station is about the same distance (we saw the subway station not long after getting a taxi). For those traveling light or with backpacks, taking the subway would be more convenient.

Living on the top of the mountain is a great experience! After the tourists in the scenic spot have dispersed, they enjoy the beauty of the entire mountain top and see the sunset and sunrise. The whole process of Yidaochang is very patient and meticulous, and the chat is very pleasant. He took us to the palace at night and made a vivid and interesting explanation. The quality of sleep is also very good, I haven't slept for a long time with such a good quality. There is also a hidden advantage to live here: burn head incense! Just in time for the day is fifteen, and I went to burn head incense at six o'clock in the morning. A bowl of hot noodles for breakfast, Yidaochang also made coffee, and it was very pleasant to drink coffee with the wind on the top of the mountain. A very unforgettable and very happy journey, highly recommended to stay (live on the top of the mountain has the unique advantage of the top of the mountain, if you are pursuing the standard of a five-star hotel, just... don't want it and want it:)

Room was clean and has a freshly cleaned smell. Always a good sign when hotels are clean. Reception staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. She upgraded our room. The downside of the room is that some plug sockets didn’t work. There’s only a total of 3 sockets in the room. Location of the hotel is excellent. Very near the subway station and walking distance to Nanchan Street area where there’s a lot of shops. If you’re staying here, remember to come out and see the Nanchan Temple at night. The lights make the temple look magical. Best timing to see it in the evening.

The hotel is newly renovated and very clean. The front desk staff (both the young lady and gentleman) were incredibly welcoming and helpful. Since there were three of us, they even gave us a complimentary breakfast. When we checked out, they also gave us some local Yangzhou specialties as a gift.

I was very satisfied with my stay. First off, the location is a huge plus – it's right inside the Confucius Temple area, making it super convenient to get around. The room was clean and tidy, and I slept really well. Every staff member I encountered greeted me warmly, and they were always quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, it was a great experience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Nanjing.

Super convenient for getting around and running errands. 2. **Excellent Environment:** The rooms are elegantly decorated, with great lighting and views. Soundproofing is top-notch, ensuring a very peaceful rest. 3. **Attentive Service:** The staff are friendly and address any requests quickly. Their attention to detail is impressive. 4. **Impeccable Hygiene & Facilities:** Everything was clean and well-maintained. The bedding and toiletries were high quality. Overall, my stay far exceeded expectations, offering great value for money.
