"Located right next to the subway, the location is excellent, with convenient access to the subway, ferry, and Harbour City. There are plenty of restaurants and shops downstairs, and the room also has a shared area. The toiletries were okay. There weren't many people there on my check-in day, so showering and using the toilet were very convenient. The air conditioning was also very effective. Good value for money."

"I had a really great stay at this hotel! The staff were very kind, welcoming, and attentive, and always ready to help. The room was a little small, but it had everything I needed and was comfortable. The best part was definitely the incredible panoramic view — absolutely beautiful! The location is also perfect. The hotel is right across from the metro entrance and in the heart of the city center, which makes it extremely convenient for getting around and exploring the city. That was definitely a huge plus! The only downside is that the windows cannot be opened at all, so unfortunately there is no way to let fresh air into the room. Because of this, the room can sometimes smell a little stuffy, and it would have been nice to be able to air it out. Apart from that, everything was great. The location, the staff, the comfort, and especially the amazing panoramic view made it a very pleasant stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"Located on the 10th floor of Chungking Mansions, just a few minutes' walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station, making it incredibly convenient for transportation. The room was also very clean. Although I arrived at 2 AM, they assigned me a triple room. There were no strange odors, but the air conditioning was a bit too cold."

"Simple. You pay for what you get, as they say. I'm 6'3” so the bed was a tad short. The overhead fan and the box air-conditioning unit are a tad loud. The dripping outside is akin to water torture but the spare twin bed pillow muffled that out. You can have a shower on the toilet whilst brushing your teeth in the small bathroom. It's actually a decent unit. Water cooler outside the door. WiFi provided. Don't use the back staircase if the lifts are too busy. Around level 1 and 2 it resembles 28 Days Later with ****** ******* dribbling and convulsions. The staff were good."

"I recently visited Hong Kong and stayed at the Maple Leaf Hotel. It was a really good hotel, offering everything you could need. The rooms had a fridge, TV, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary bottled water. Plus, you could easily refill your water bottle to take with you, so no need to buy water at night. I even saw guests from other hotels coming into the reception area to get water, which probably means their hotels didn't offer that service. Given how expensive Hong Kong is, having free Wi-Fi, water, and other amenities really helps guests save money. As for the room, it was very affordable, and the service was excellent. Every corner was spotless, and the private bathroom was also incredibly clean – you could spend ages just admiring the cleanliness. The location was also fantastic. Downstairs was a famous shopping center where you could find anything you needed, so no need to travel far. Across the street, there were all sorts of Hong Kong street food options. Subway stations, bus stops, and even a taxi stand were all right across the street, making getting around incredibly convenient. I had a wonderful time at this hotel, and every detail left me with perfect memories. I really liked it, and if I get another chance to visit Hong Kong, I'll definitely book this hotel again. 🥰"

"The stay at Venetian Hostel was a good one. Surprising at first if you are from the west due to it's location, but equally super interesting and an authentic experience of Hong Kong. The rooms were small, but no one is expecting luxury at such a price, clean, the AC worked well (which is a must in such a hot place) and the reception was very helpful. The roof of the building also makes for a pretty cool hang out spot if you can manage the heat."

"A really great hotel! It's located right in Mirador Mansion, next to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. It's within walking distance to China Hong Kong City, Harbour City, Kowloon Park, and Victoria Harbour, and just one or two MTR stops away from core business districts on Hong Kong Island like Admiralty and Central. The facilities aren't brand new, but the sheets, pillows, duvets, etc., are all very clean and tidy. The host was very polite, proactively reminding me about details like needing to boil water ten minutes in advance. I'd always heard that Hong Kong hotels don't provide disposable toiletries, but this place had toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, and more, laid out in the public hallway for guests to take, which was very thoughtful. There's absolutely no need to worry about safety; the room door can be deadbolted and has a security chain, and there's also a guesthouse operating license posted outside, so everything is very well-regulated."

"Everything was great, except for the single shower and toilet, which might be inconvenient during peak hours. The location is excellent, right by Temple Street Night Market and Yau Ma Tei Police Station. It's also very close to the Broadway Cinematheque, perfect for movie lovers."

"The room was really tiny, as it was an apartment divided into multiple units, and the walls were made of wood! However, the location was excellent; the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station was right at the doorstep, and it was convenient to walk to the train station, Harbour City, the Science Museum, and the Avenue of Stars. Kowloon Park was also right next door! The host was initially slow to respond but became very quick after we connected on WeChat. I arrived at around 8 AM and was able to leave my luggage directly at the guesthouse. After checking out on the second day, I also left my luggage there. I booked a deluxe twin room, and the window could be opened. Please note that some rooms do not have windows! Overall, I was quite satisfied."

"The room was completely different from the pictures, but compared to other places it was cheaper and at least looks clean. The receptionist was really nice and let me checkin before 4pm. The AC worked really well and the bathrooms were also ok. Just a heads up: the building looks old and kinda dirty. Sometimes you have to wait more than 10 minutes for the elevator to come down since its on 10th floor. Besides that, I recommend the place and the area where it's located. I had booked another hostel 2 stations before and it was terrifying, so book the hostels carefully and look for real pictures on google!"
