The room is very large and clean. It's just that the sheets are a little narrow. The scenery outside the window is beautiful! It is cost-effective.

When I arrived at the hotel, there was a clear sign on the front desk that there wont be any car park space available. They never told us they charge £12.50 for overnight parking. As we were travelling on a motorcycle, we found an unmarked space in a quiet unused corner of the hotel near the rear staff entrance, because the rain was really heavy and we have had to lug our panniers into the building. I found out later that the hotel charged me £12.50 for overnight parking. They claim that our bike was on their premises and they were entitled to charge us even though we weren’t given a proper car park space.

Hi. I stay in the King Charles hotel every week and believe it to be the best accommodation in the area in terms of value for money and room comfort by a long way. The rooms are warm, and clean, as are the showers. The breakfast is tasty with super service and the reception and bar staff are all friendly and helpful. Car parking is also generally fairly easily. The location of the hotel is excellent, just in the center of the town, whether it is to go to the train station or visit the famous pedestrian street The Pantiles , it is very convenient, and the surrounding parks and theaters are also within easy reach. The hotel is located in a very distinctive building, formerly a court (Merevale House), and the internal facilities are very new after modern renovation. Our room was stylish and comfortable, the bed was particularly comfortable and slept well all night. Despite its central location, the room was very quiet and soundproofed. The room was spotless and air-conditioned and showered. The hotel’s own Thyme restaurant is also commendable, we had a delicious dinner here, the breakfast selection was also very rich, the taste was great, and the new day was full of vitality. Most importantly, every staff member of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. All in all, this was an impeccable stay. Whether it is location, hardware facilities or service, this Premier Inn is doing a great job.

Regular stays at this Holiday Inn Express. Room on this occasion a little tired and dated. Holes in sheets, poor shower pressure and old TV. Breakfast was good. The lift is slow and you can wait along time for it. Parking easy, however shouldn't have to pay for it.

Very nice stay service was good and room was clean and lovely staff

On arrival service was great and very helpful. Room had a great view a little on small size but not complaining as it was very clean. On the down side. Mattress needs changing as springs have gone. Woke up with them digging in my back. Went for breakfast as continental breakfast was included. It's extra for cooked of which I would be happy to pay for. However I was totally ignored as person too busy folding napkins and kept their back to me. I wasn't going to hang around. There was no fruit just bread, muffins and yoghurt. I was going to speak to the front desk about this but no one about so I let myself out of the car park.
