It’s a 10-minute drive from the Channel Tunnel Terminal and features complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout its rooms and public spaces, a chic bar, and stunning views.

"I live in a town so this was perfect for me. I arrived and was welcomed at reception by Chloe. She was amazing, happy, welcoming, chatty, down to Earth which was brilliant. The residents bar was lovely and quaint.Yes its an old style hotel but I love the old style seafront hotels, the decor in my room was abit too much(covered in parrots haha) but that was minor. The room itself was spacious for me,had everything it needed, was perfect for my stay. The bar they have in the basement, well what a night that was. Being served by Connor, and joining my new American friends who also stayed at the hotel,we had an absolute ball. Few too many but lovely cocktails and happy hour,I will say it was a hit aha. I don't have any faults at all with this hotel,it's cheap, cheerful and is perfect where it is overlooking the sea.No curfew coming in,free WiFi,very helpful when it came to asking for information. Couldn't of asked for a happier, more comforting hotel. I would recommend this hotel,a perfect old style seafront hotel,a view to dream about, everything within walking distance, amazing hospitality and care for the residents staying, and for what it costs,it most definately holds its value. Definately somewhere I would stay again xxx "

"When I arrived at the hotel, there was a clear sign on the front desk that there wont be any car park space available. They never told us they charge £12.50 for overnight parking. As we were travelling on a motorcycle, we found an unmarked space in a quiet unused corner of the hotel near the rear staff entrance, because the rain was really heavy and we have had to lug our panniers into the building. I found out later that the hotel charged me £12.50 for overnight parking. They claim that our bike was on their premises and they were entitled to charge us even though we weren’t given a proper car park space."

A stay at our Premier Inn Royal Tunbridge Wells hotel puts you right in the heart of this historic spa town, just a few minutes' walk from Tunbridge Wells train station and the stylish 17th century Pantiles high street. While you're there, explore the scenic landscaped gardens of Calvery Grounds, or take a short drive to Bewl Water and gaze out across the beautiful lake and woodland. When you're feeling hungry, visit our in-house Thyme restaurant for a delicious meal, and when you're done exploring for the day you can sink into one of our comfy Hypnos beds for a great night's sleep.

"In fact, the hotel is not called Royal Tunbridge Wells It's Premier Inn Royal Tunbridge Wells , Trip.com The title should be wrong, but the experience of staying at the hotel is really great! The location of the hotel is excellent, just in the center of the town, whether it is to go to the train station or visit the famous pedestrian street The Pantiles , it is very convenient, and the surrounding parks and theaters are also within easy reach. The hotel is located in a very distinctive building, formerly a court (Merevale House), and the internal facilities are very new after modern renovation. Our room was stylish and comfortable, the bed was particularly comfortable and slept well all night. Despite its central location, the room was very quiet and soundproofed. The room was spotless and air-conditioned and showered. The hotel’s own Thyme restaurant is also commendable, we had a delicious dinner here, the breakfast selection was also very rich, the taste was great, and the new day was full of vitality. Most importantly, every staff member of the hotel was very friendly and helpful, making our stay more enjoyable. All in all, this was an impeccable stay. Whether it is location, hardware facilities or service, this Premier Inn is doing a great job."

Best Western Abbots Barton Hotel has offered unique Kentish character to guests since 1927. Its Gothic style building dates back to the 1830s, and ensures all who visit return home with a few Canterbury tales of their own! Today, the hotel is ideal for those seeking the picturesque and the personality that Britain is famed for, with tasteful-yet-traditional refurbishment in recent years only adding to its appeal. Tranquil gardens mean theres as much peace and quiet to be found outside as there is within our 19th Century walls, and youll find all the comforts and amenities of a first class modern hotel at every turn. The hotel has free onsite parking and is just five minutes walk from the County Cricket Ground should you want to be bowled over by the tradition and intrigue of the Gentlemans Game. Enjoy your stay.

"The hotel is so nice with a lovely staff. We even have had a little Christmas gift at our door with a Christmas card. It is a really nice gesture! As it is an old.building, the walls are thin and we could hear people from ofher rooms so if you are light sleeper bring earplugs with you (I always do that). The room has electric heater and heated the room is warm, which for me is important as I am skinny and always cold. So I could enjoy the space without being cold. We had a.great stay, would have been nice to stay for more nights."

Whether you're staying to see the sights or you're here on business, Premier Inn Hotel Maidstone Town Centre is a really handy place to stay. Many of our guests come for the festivals too, including the River Festival on the Medway. You could join in the celebrations at the Social Festival, or get away from it all strolling the rolling Kent Downs. See the awesome-inspiring Leeds Castle, or simply wander around Maidstone town centre for some great shopping at Fremlin Walk. Then return and recharge in our tasty restaurant and lovely comfy beds.

"Sparkling clean - it might have been the cleanest Premier Inn Hotel we’ve been! Very fresh breakfast; really kind to give our kids small gifts as a half-term break treat Well air conditioned under the searing heat Really friendly and welcoming staff, though we had a bit of trouble checking in it was tackled very quickly Just a shame the parking costs £9 a night which isn’t a very good value compared to other hotels that might offer free parking."

Kings Arms Hotel by Greene King Inns

It's been quite a while since i last stayed at the Kings Arms... and this trip reminded me why! There is very little choice of Hotels in the area, and Kings Arms is centrally located in Westerham with many decent Pubs and Restaurants in close proximity. The Hotel had undergone a lot of fairly recent External Renovation and looks amazing from the outside... maybe one day they can progress to modernising the interior. Bar Area and Restaurant areas are absolutely fine, and you cannot fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the Staff. However, the journey upstairs with the threadbare carpet kinda lets you know what is instore for you inside the room. On this most recent stay, the room itself was HUGE! I booked a deluxe Double. Massive Bed, and ample furniture. Carpet threadbare in places and the Central Heating Radiator didn't work. A small Electric heater had been placed in the room, but due to the enormity of the size, it was inadequate to produce any real warmth in the room. Poor quality lighting.. but i thinks that made me by design! The Bathroom was equally large, but similar to the room (and others i've stayed in previous) i suspect maybe the 1980's was the last time it had a facelift. It was adequate to take a wee, and clean my teeth.. but i could only imagine my wife's reaction to the sheer thought of taking a Bath in there! It's such a shame really... perfect location to stay for either Business while working at Biggin Hill Airport, or for a weekend getaway with the wife. However, if the latter... i would seriously advise to take a look across the road. You'll have a much happier wife!! This could be an amazing hotel - but it sure does need a lot of work on the inside.

What an amazing hidden gem this is. Nestled on a hill top overlooking the marshes with Warehorn church over the road, this pub with rooms is a must for a romantic get away. We arrived early and had a drink in the bar, which is beautifully quirky, a welcoming log fire burning and a wide selection of drinks. We had booked ”Niddy” an attic room with so much to give, a comfy bed, roll top bath, and so much character. The only ****** I had with the room, was the W.C squeezed into the roof space it was a little awkward to stand up and wee, but that's a small thing when it comes to such a great room. Requesting a quiet table for dinner, we were given one in a side area and again we couldn't believe it, it was super romantic and we had the whole room to ourselves. Our waiter Muli was so good, he was attentive but not intruding, and so funny, we haven't had many meals out and he really did make the evening. The food was excellent and the vegan burger was one of the best I have had. The location was brilliant, if you're into walking, cycling, birdwatching or wanting to visit local sites (rye was only 20min drive away) The rest of the staff were also brilliant, and couldn't do enough for us. We will definitely return.

Days Inn proved to be a comfortable enough one-night stop-over choice. I found this hotel to be well-located, allowing for quick and easy access from the highway. With ample safe parking in the parking lot, EV charging facilities, and freestanding tap-to-pay self-service laundry machines available to use, it was nice to be able to refresh and reset for the following day without issue. The hotel's entrance sits directly opposite that of the Roadhouse rest which houses a varied selection of takeaway catering outlets, a Costa coffee shop, and WH Smith convenience shop amongst others can be found. The hotel's reception desk entrance shares a clean + suitably maintained garden/courtyard and picnic table seating, all within reach of the hotel's free wifi network, which proved useful. Despite arriving well before the stipulated check-in time, the front desk team was helpful and accommodating. An easy check-in + check-out process made for a budget-friendly, and hassle-free evening stop-over before continuing on with my Travels.

Wonderful location, just a stones throw from the Centre of Canterbury. Our Host was lovely, very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was not overwhelming, very basic. It was included in the price so can't really complain. Lots of niggles with the room though..... maintenance appears to be down on the list of the priorities sadly. Fridge didn't work. TV had cracked plastic frame around it. Remote didn't connect to the TV. However you could turn on the TV manually....once you'd sussed out what wasn't working first. Bedside set of drawers had handles that kept falling off. No sink plug in the bathroom. You had to be a contortionist to see in the bathroom mirror, it could have been better positioned on the adjacent wall. It was also a little concerning that all the electric devices had to be plugged into just one trail board. That being said, inspite of all the niggles, it didn't stop us from having a lovely weekend stay in Canterbury - location made up for it along with Sanjeewa's hospitality.

It’s in a great location for all you want in a town. It has a cool vibe & a nice buzz.  I was welcomed warmly, but disappointed to discover at check-in my room was on the 5th floor & no lift! A disability prevents me from doing many stairs. I was offered an upgrade for an extra £20, so I paid. (In hindsight feel this is a common practice & felt a bit conned). I then found out I still had 2 flights of stairs to the first floor!! 😩 The room was spacious & tastefully decorated as you will see by the photos. A spare bed in the room, great for families. Nice coffee & tea facilities.  I found the room very cold, so told a member of staff & asked if the heating was coming on or what could they do, I never heard from anyone in response, so was very cold in the evening.  If you don’t like to be cold & lots of stairs are a problem don’t book.  If those are not a problem then it’s a characterful hotel, with a great restaurant. Just avoid being talked into an upgrade!!!

This is a convenient location. The staff I encountered were lovely and really helpful. The rooms are very standard but clean. I was told ahead of time that new soap dispensers were awaiting delivery so was supplied with a cup of hand soap. Not great but at least I wasn’t left without. It’s not my usual spot as I prefer somewhere a little more quiet but with its location and my stay falling on a weekend the outside noise was a little distracting whilst trying to sleep. Also the allocated room I had also left room for inside noise too and doors were often open and closing. Parking was confusing at first. The car park round the back is a short stay car park so I had to move my car to the multi story down the road and walk back but not the hotels fault and I’m grateful they let me know. All in all it’s an okay stay. Personally for me I like a little more in a room but for the price you can’t grumble
