Review for Dodas Palace
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dodas Palace, and it was a delightful experience! The ambiance of the place was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal.
A special mention goes to the chef who prepared my cheese omelette with toast, tomatoes, and fries—it was absolutely perfect! The omelette was fluffy, generously filled with cheese, and cooked to perfection. The toast was crisp, the tomatoes were fresh, and the fries were golden and perfectly seasoned.
Additionally, the hotel room price offers great value for money. The quality of the stay and the services provided exceeded my expectations for the price. I highly recommend Dodas Palace for both its food and accommodations!
I absolutely love this historic hotel! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ The price is reasonable, it's very clean, the staff are all wonderful, and the food is incredibly delicious! ❤️❤️❤️ Overall, I give it many stars (🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟). This hotel truly touched me! Highly recommend! 👍 Thank you to the owners and all the staff for your hard work and dedication in providing us with such a wonderful experience! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great place, good location and the owner of the hotel is a pretty cool, friendly and helpful guy.
The room was lovely and spacious.
Rooftop restaurant has a great view towards Jaisalmer Fort.
Definitely recommended.
I stayed in a double room and everything was great. The front desk staff were very friendly, and they even let us leave our luggage for a few hours after check-out.
The staff at Hoztel Jaipur truly cares about their guests. They help out booking trains/buses and prepared some home remedies for me when my stomach wasn't doing great.
Additionally, Hoztel is a great place to socialize and meet other likeminded travelers. Beds are comfortable and have a privacy curtain.
The lobby and rooms are very clean. The staff were also very kind. There's a restaurant on the first floor, and you can order room service. The chicken tikka masala was truly exquisite. The metro station is also a 5-minute walk away, so you can easily get to Jaipur Junction Station and Hawa Mahal by metro. A point to note is that there aren't many restaurants nearby.
I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel. We had booked 3 rooms after looking at the images we expected a real hotel but were in for a shock once we arrived at the hotel. We had to park our car at least 2 kms outside as cars are not allowed in the old city lanes so you will need an auto every time u enter and exit the hotel. Trip to and from the parking will cost u 100. 00. We arrived at the hotel main gate via auto-rickshaw. The entrance is through a very narrow lane with houses on both sides and a gutter just outside the main gate of the hotel. You will smell the stink every time u arrive and leave as there is only this one door. Ad u enter u will encounter bikes parked on either sides, rubble, stacked pile of plywood. The reception is a single desk. They do have an elevator lift although very tiny. We had booked 2 lake facing rooms and 1 non lake facing room. As we entered the lake facing room we were shocked further with the view and the so called balcony which is approx 1. 5 ft in width and 3 ft in length n not really enough or even safe to step outside. The view gives you a glimpse of the lake pichola but is very much hindered by shacks and ruins and houses. The non lake facing room opens up to houses on either side. The rooms looked clean and so did the toilets but it lacked all basic amenities as that of a storage etc. Later on in the evening we noticed cockroaches and ticks all over the marble floor. The housekeeping was shoddy as were the rest of the services. The main doors are a security threat as they are really thin n don't really offer or give the feeling of security. The restaurant upstairs is a far cry away from the photos posted by the hotel. Firstly it stinks. There are pigeons everywhere stinking up the place. The table cloth and chairs are stained so much that it is difficult to know what color they are. The person serving did a good job though. We were really frightened to have a meal so we ended up eating outside mostly. You can see the lake view from the restaurant but again lots of ruins, houses in between. They have advertised this place with photos which make it appear like this hotel is bang on the lake and also very fancy but don't get fooled friends. It is absolutely not worth the money spent. Luckily we were sightseeing most of the time so we used this place just to shower and sleep.
Friendly and personal service
the staff were all very friendly and helpful and no request for assistance was a problem for them. The hotel is well situated, being close to shopping, transport, and the tourist sites. We can stay here and do jawai safari. 20km
we would definitely stay there again. 5. Friendly and personal service

GGuest UserPlace was easy to locate. Rooms were spacious, clean and installed with ac, fridge and tv. Staff was polite, cooperating, and well behaved. Food was also good. Overall a nice place to stay and relax yourself.
CChandra LatikaA beautiful, stylish, boutique hotel with a lake view.
It is not directly on the lake shore, but is separated by a road and a piece of someone's property under construction that spoils the view, especially when the wind blows stronger and lifts the black tarpaulin.
The interior of the hotel is tastefully decorated, in beautiful pastel, calming colors and has that Rajasthani, traditional vibe.
My room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable, and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was clean, with complimentary shower accessories and dental kits and also has a window, so you can enjoy the view while taking a shower. There is generally no noise from the road and you can sleep peacefully, as long as your neighbors in the rooms next to and above your room are mindful of the house rules.
I would especially like to express my gratitude to Mayan who allowed me to check in very early, as soon as I arrived around 8am, without insisting that I wait for the usual check-in time, and who provided me with as many bottles of water as I requested, free of charge.
The view from the restaurant's roof terrace is beautiful at dusk and at night.
If the walls were painted seasonally and the rooms freshened up, it would contribute even more to the overall experience, but even this way you get excellent value for money.

SSURENDRA SIHAGI had an exceptional stay at this luxury hotel, and it truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism, making me feel valued and comfortable.
The rooms were spacious, elegantly designed, and equipped with top-class amenities. The attention to detail—from the premium bedding to the beautiful interiors—created a perfect blend of comfort and sophistication. The view from the room was absolutely stunning.
The service was outstanding. The staff were highly attentive, courteous, and always ready to assist with a smile. Every request was handled promptly, reflecting their commitment to excellence.
The dining experience was equally impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious, high-quality dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the overall experience, making each meal memorable.
The hotel facilities, including the spa, gym, and pool, were world-class and well-maintained, providing a truly relaxing and luxurious experience.
Overall, this hotel sets a high standard for luxury and hospitality. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a premium and unforgettable stay.

GGuest UserGood for a night’s stay. Budget Hotel located in an alley and it’s the last hotel so you don’t hear the noise from traffic, which is good. Floor and bathroom/toilet can be cleaner. They don’t provide complimentary water. Dinner is convenient because there’s a restaurant on the 5th floor. Breakfast is average
GGuest UserA mixed review. Staff were very helpful in arranging flowers for my wife and the location is perfect, right on the lake with a lovely view of the ghat and sunrise. But this also means that things can get noisy at night, especially during a festival.
The room was tired and smelt. Shower wasn't very clean. Breakfast was okay but staff tried to insist on guests eating breakfast inside which was very strange given that there was an outside dining area with a beautiful (world class) view of sunrise.
The hotel restaurant was overpriced, chaotic and very loud. Priority on tables was given to groups who didn't order food or drinks, took insta pictures and then left. At the same time, several families were turned away. Tried to order a diet coke, was told that we couldn't have one despite them being in the fridge. Kingfisher was 600 a bottle which is a 240% mark up from the wine shops.
Overall, great location let down by some tired rooms and poor service.
GGuest UserHotel Alabana Haveli is situated on Amer Road near Zoravar gate. Hawamahal is near about 2 km away. We stayed in a deluxe room of the property during middle of the January this year. The property is far away from the usual hustle of the city but well connected with the Jaipur railway station, Sindhi bus stand and other attractions of the city. The rooms were equipped with modern amenities. The hotel was very neat and clean. Staffs were very helpful and polite.
The hotel need to work on few things for better service. The furniture and bathroom fittings looks old. The rooms didn't have a personal geyser although hot waters were available only few hours in the morning. The hotel may provide tea kit, coffee kit and bathroom essentials apart from usual soap and towel.
Overall the hotel was very good for stay. Also I would like to mention about the Curry Spoon, the in house restaurant of the hotel which served delicious food.
GGuest UserVisited Alwar with family recently and stayed @ Cygnett after checking a few properties. Though located on bypass road, the rooms were spacious & cozy, food was delicious & staff was courteous. Fully enjoyed our stay. Recommend to must visit City Palace/Moosi Maharani in evening (before sunset) for awesome photography.
NNicolas BEWhen we checked in, there was clearly an issue but nobody would tell us anything while they discussed in Hindi. After asking multiple times what the issue was, we were accused of having made a wrong booking. As they had a single occupancy room for us while we were two. After showing multiple confirmations and our check-in voucher which all said “2 adults” they kept telling us we were wrong. Multiple managers were called and eventually we did get a room but they still wanted us to do their job and contact Trip.com. The men at reception kept talking over me and wouldn’t listen at all, the girl was helpful and apologised multiple times. Once we finally got up in the room, there were stains on the sheet. In the morning my friend even had molded bread from the buffet… overall not a great experience but the room itself was good.
