"The location was great, and the view from the room was truly satisfying. Since the building is brand new, everything was clean and the facilities were well-maintained. I booked a special offer, so the price was very low, which initially made me a little skeptical, but after staying for one night, I regretted not booking for two. The only downside was the parking. There were spaces available in the underground parking lot when I checked in, but when I returned after dinner, it was full, so I had to park on the roadside. It seems there isn't enough parking space compared to the number of rooms, so I hope this aspect will be improved. Other than that, the staff were all friendly, and overall, it was a very satisfying stay. It is a place I would like to stay at again."

"Came here with friends to see the ocean, and aside from the room being a bit small, the mattress was comfortable, and everything was generally clean. I also appreciated how friendly and helpful the staff were when we communicated over the phone. Being right by the beach, it was great to park and then walk everywhere; we ate well and chatted a lot. ^^ Everyone agreed that for the price, they'd be willing to stay here again if they ever come back."

"The best hotel I stayed in Korea this time, first of all, the appearance is very beautiful, I can feel the new decoration after I come in, all kinds of new, and the room is particularly spacious, this price can have such a spacious room in Korea I didn't expect, And the toilet is dry and wet, which is great. "The location right in front of Naksan Beach is incredibly convenient, and having a CU convenience store on the first floor is a huge plus. We stayed in the premium suite, and the facilities were, of course, amazing, and the ocean view was absolutely perfect. My girlfriend even praised me for picking it, haha! The place is good, 7 minutes to ski and has a supermarket and eatery place nearby. Honestly the room is nice, with cooking facilities but the owner was not friendly at all. The toilet was stuck and leak they came with only the plunger and ask us settle ourself. Is winter and we came with kids, the kids built a snowman and they destroyed the snowman after we went for ski trip. We are a group of 10 and we wanted to cook our dinner. There is a small hut with table and chair and BBQ facilities, we ask to BBQ facilities (We are willing to pay, 10,000 won as stated) but she said is winter so we can’t use the BBQ pit, ended up we use the stove to cook up the meat. The husband and wife came in to the huts and told us we can’t do BBQ but we explained to her we just cook the meat and we didn’t do any BBQ. We left the place with cleaner than we came in. I have to WhatsApp her and show her the place is cleaned. The warn us that we must left the place by 1am but in fact all of us finished eh 9.30pm every day since we are tired from Ski. During the last day, they came to us and I was thinking they come and say goodbye but they just make sure we throw every single piece of rubbish outside the house. My husband wear shoe and just step to take our luggage and the owner insist us to take out the shoe before we went in to the house. Although we have explained, we just step in and take the luggage and go, he insisted us to take out the shoes. I have been travelling all around the world and we do understand every cultural is different but as the operator of tourist industry, the owner has to be service minded. If you can’t accept any international travellers then please do not list your place in any platform or put up a notice that international tourist is not permitted to stay there and we won’t book accordingly. Is such a shame to see this happened to us after our 5th trip to Korea and our 3rd trip to Pyeongchang for ski.

The location and facilities were so clean and great. My only minor complaints are that the breakfast selection isn't very extensive, and communication was difficult when I called the staff after booking. I tried to pay the difference to upgrade my room, but they said it wasn't possible because bookings could overlap across different sales channels, even though rooms were available (?!). It was a family trip, but one person ended up staying elsewhere. ㅠ

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Brown Dot Cheorwon Dong and would gladly return in the future. From the moment I arrived, the property gave off a clean, modern, and well cared for impression. The location is a bit out of the way, quite far from the beach. Some details in the room's cleanliness weren't great; for example, the door leading to the bathroom was surprisingly dusty... The only impressive amenity was a self-contained dryer, but it could only hang 3 items at a time. Simple breakfast is offered in the morning, including rice, side dishes, and seaweed soup. You can fry your own eggs, and there's also a machine where you can buy instant noodles, but it doesn't accept cash or Visa.

Great service where you can check in and check out without meeting people. there is kiosk at the lobby and it has korean english and chinese too. beach is really close, and other shops like cafes (literal cafe. not like 백다방 or 메가커피only. well they do have those two shops too), convenience stores, and photobooth (포토이즘, 인생네컷). our 3 days and 2 nights were comfortable and nice. room is smaller than expected but was fine for 3 women. got TV, microwave and water boiler too. room cleaner change the towel and give water which not usual in 가성비 호텔 in korea cz they(from my experience going to 6 hotels in korea) just dont give unless you ask. service point there. overall was nice!

The best place I've ever stayed in! Everything was thought out to the smallest detail, comfortable and modern, very clean, cozy, and beautiful! The hostess is amazing, attentive and kind. The room is quite large and spacious, it is not stuffy, but in addition, it is possible to turn on the air conditioner or open the doors to the terrace without fear of mosquitoes flying in, because there are nets installed. Stuffiness in the room is a critical problem for me. And here it is perfectly solved. And the mattress and duvet are absolutely incredible. I don't know what kind of technology it is, but it was perfect: not too soft and not too hard, everything seemed to adapt to you, and in the morning you didn't want to get out of bed. I slept absolutely amazingly here. And what a wonderful bathroom, and the steam closet... I could go on and on listing the advantages of this place. Usually, when you come to another country, you only need to sleep in your room; you don't need much more. But here, we just wanted to be in the room! Because it's so nice and wonderful, because it's calm and peaceful. Unfortunately, our time in the city was limited; there was so much to see and do, but we returned to the hotel every evening with joy. It was an indescribable experience; we are absolutely delighted! I highly recommend it! And I would gladly come back here again. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The hotel is located 3 streets away from the ktx station, not more than 10mins walk with heavy luggage. And 20mins walk to the Jungang Market & shopping districts. Plenty of bus stops around the hotel. Convenient store around the corner. The two guy receptions I met during my stay were super friendly and helpful even though they don't speak much English, and I felt very welcomed. The basic room was perfect for solo travellers, may be slightly tight for a couple. Everything was clean and well maintained. There is not only a hairdryer, but also a straightener provided in the room. The shower's water pressure was good, and had an electric bidet. Bed was just right, streets weren't noisy at night, and I had a comfortable sleep throughout my stay. The housekeeping lady was lovely and taught me how to operate the A/C. Probably just the TV was hard to use as it was all in Korean (but should be able to connect with Netflix). There are public PCs and washing-dryer machines with detergent provided at the lobby, and a lounge stocked up with instant noodles, breads etc. Everything mentioned above is free for guests - a big plus! Just right opposite the hotel there is a potato soup restaurant - which is the best food I had in gangneung! I definitely want to be back, and recommend to anyone making a trip to gangneung.

Super nice sea view , room look exactly like the photo . Room with simple cooking equipment that u can cook ramen or little snack . Dryer , towel all those basic things are provided. But 2 things u have to take notes , this homestay type of property doest not have reception or person incharge at the area , even during check in , so make sure u contact with trip.com to get the check in information before u reach there , or else if u can speak korean or u will need to at-least have a number that can call Korean number to contact property management when u arrive and tell them u need check in , i think simple English like “check in “ they can understand. If u don’t have any number that can call or did not contact trip earlier on to get the information, u will be there and wait and u can’t check in smoothly for sure . Secondly this location is far from the city area (like ktx/ bus express terminal and anmok beach ) this location is only near to sundubu gelato by foot about 20min. My suggestion is if u wanna stay here , prepare food and drink and stay whole day just in room to enjoy the view of sea and nice room if u did not driving . Basically for the view and nice room , I will come back again .
