3-Star Hotels in Uva Province, Sri Lanka

This hotel boasts a fantastic location on a high hill with breathtaking views, tucked away from noisy roads and streets. The staff are wonderful and attentive, and the rooms are perfectly clean and cozy. The view from the terrace is simply stunning! A special shout-out to the chef – the food is incredibly delicious! We tried the curry, a fish dish, and Kottu, and everything was so tasty with beautiful, restaurant-quality presentation. They even ask and accommodate your spice preferences. The homemade sauces and mango chutney were the best we've ever had anywhere. The maître d' is super positive – big thumbs up to them! They're so helpful and really brighten your day with their energy and good mood. Being around people like that truly helps you relax and unwind! There's a pool, fresh towels, and all the main tourist attractions are nearby (Little Adam's Peak, Nine Arch Bridge, waterfalls). We will definitely be back!

Great location about 10 min walking from the train station, good staff and the place is clean and tidy. Looks like kind of a chain and that was what I wanted. The room is really small tho and there was no TV. But at least it’s very comfortable and you feel safe. As a solo women traveling I would recommend this place

This guesthouse was highly recommended by some friends, and they were right! We arrived on the train from Kandy in the afternoon, and even though we had not informed the owner of this, he was waiting at the train station to pick us up. It was a short drive to the Guesthouse, where we met his wife and daughter, were given tea and made arrangements for a trip the following morning to Lipton's Peak (to watch the sunrise - early start but awesome!) We explained that we are vegan, but this was not a problem, and the lady of the house made us the most amazing dinner, with several curries, rice, drink and dessert. There was a small additional charge for dinner - and I mean small, especially given the quantity and quality of the meal. Delicious! Our room was very nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice balcony, where we sat outside and just listened to the night-time nature sounds of Haputale. We also had a private bathroom with lovely shower (bring your own toiletries). We were only staying overnight, to visit Lipton's Seat, after which we had the most AMAZING breakfast (my first time trying coconut sambal, soooo good!) The owner had then arranged for the same driver to take us to Udawalawa, which is 3 hours away, for a reasonable price. If you are visiting Haputale, I highly recommend this guesthouse - lovely family, comfortable accommodation and fantastic food. Thanks

I have to admit, we absolutely loved our stay here. The people were so accommodating and friendly. The location is on a steep hill, most cars won't make it up but walking down and up takes about 5 minutes or a tub tuk can get you there. The view is amazing and worth the walk. It's so close to the main road and close to main attractions (about 20min walk) the room was comfortable, warm, clean. The breakfast was some fruit, with eggs made according to your choice, some toast and they even let us try the coconut pancakes which were so yummy. Everything was amazing. We were so happy there and will definitely stay there again.

I had a wonderfull stay with a very friendly stuff. Salindu is a Artist in cooking i enjoyed is food daily. Adit the Man who is always there for me anytime . Good impressions from the hotel. The room is beautiful, hot water, delicious dinner and breakfast.But, because of the nearby construction, the view from the window is not matched to the photos. But, that does not apply to the hotel.

This place is incredible 😍 I don't understand the ratings because our experience at this wonderful hotel was a special treat in itself. Everything was excellent. The nice young man who greeted us upon check-in was the one who brought our luggage up to our room. He immediately gave us his contact information and was always available. (How were we planning to get around, whether we needed a transfer. He suggested some delicious places from our list and recommended a nice restaurant.) Yes, this is an upsell, but in my opinion, these are very important things in hospitality. Delicious and generous breakfast. The coconut pancakes were sooooo delicious; we've tried them in many other families, but here, they were amazing 😍 Breakfast on the rooftop with a wonderful view. Tea and coffee, not in mugs like everywhere else, but a kettle! It was a pleasure, thank you ☺️ The room was very large! It was spotless! Soap, paper towels, and bottled water were provided. The room even had a fumigator, but we didn't see any insects. No ants or anything else (so far, this is the first place on the island without such neighbors). There's a closet. The room has a balcony and it's not hot at all (you realize this when you're coming from the coast). The location is fantastic. A busy street is a couple of minutes' walk away, but the hotel itself is quiet. This was important to us. There are plenty of places to have a delicious lunch in the area. The 9th Arch Bridge is a 15-minute walk away. It's 15-17 minutes to Little Adam's Peak. It's a truly wonderful place. The squirrels chirp in the mornings. It's a local vibe, and I think I'll miss it. The hotel is on the hillside, with a good mountain view, the room bathroom is super large, the only room that is not damp in the 20 days of living in Sri Lanka, if there is air conditioning, it will be perfect.  It is more than 20 minutes' drive from Ella Town.  Ella is mostly sloped . It is basically a curved path to various hotels and homestays. It is very suitable for  people who want to be quarantined for a few days to live for a few days. I especially want to praise their service team. A few simple warm and friendly local boys, they really want to be good to every guest staying, thank you for the delicious breakfast.
