Guest UserComing for birthday celebrations and special remarks any special arrangements can be prepare prior arriving however no respond from hotel at all. Staff here are not attentive enough and not quite hospitality orientated. On the day we checking in, lift is under repair and we are with our luggage and our floor is 3rd floor, none of the staff offering help at all. And dint give any alternative just ask us to wait till lift is resume. So giving a very bad impression at the first sign. Not sure how they claim the best service hotel. Location are right the middle of town si this is the plus points. Food wise do not expect much as the breakfast option are kinda limited and chicken also bit overcooked bit hard to chew.

My recent stay at the Genting SkyWorlds Hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. While there were certainly some positive aspects to the customer service, a few notable inconveniences and cleanliness issues held the experience back from being a great one.
Here is a breakdown of our experience:
Location & Accessibility
A Long Walk to the Room: Our room was located in the Valley Wing, which is quite a considerable distance from the main reception area. Navigating through the hotel with luggage after a long journey was exhausting, so be prepared for a bit of a trek.
Inconvenient Breakfast Setup: If you are expecting a quick stroll down to breakfast, be aware that the morning buffet is technically located in an entirely different building. It takes about a 10-minute walk just to get your morning coffee, which is slightly frustrating if you are traveling with family or want a slow, relaxing morning.
Cleanliness & Room Condition
Initial Hygiene Concerns: Upon checking in, we were disappointed to find stray hairs both inside and on top of our pillowcases. This naturally made us question how thoroughly the room had been cleaned prior to our arrival.
Stained Toilet Seat: The bathroom also left a lot to be desired. There were noticeable stains on the toilet seat, which really detracted from the comfort of the room. A higher standard of deep cleaning is definitely needed here.
Service & Housekeeping
Excellent Recovery: I have to give credit where it is dueâwhen we raised the issue about the dirty pillowcases, the staffâs response was incredibly fast. They arrived promptly to change out the bedsheets and pillowcases, and their polite, efficient service was very much appreciated.
Missed Details by Housekeeping: While the daily housekeeping staff did a generally good job of tidying up the room, they lacked attention to detail. They completely forgot to provide or replenish basic room amenities, specifically leaving out the room slippers, facial tissues, and the bathroom floor mat.
Final Verdict:
Genting SkyWorlds Hotel has the potential to be a great stay, especially with their responsive customer service team. However, the sheer distance to the Valley Wing rooms, the inconvenient breakfast location, and the inconsistent attention to cleanliness and room amenities make it hard to fully recommend without caveats.

Guest UserMy family had a nice stay at TDR. It lived up to our expectations and MORE. I am writing because I would like to commend the resort for their help in locating my missing backpack (left at the ferry jetty). When we realised we were missing an important bag (dont ask how, things happen i guess) we called the resort and asked the help from the staff to check if we did leave our bag at the jetty which was a 10 minutes-walk away from the resort. They immediately went to check but the bag was not there. It seemed that TDR didnât just leave the matter at that, and I dont know how they managed it, but 6.5 hrs later they called to inform me that the bag was on another ferry on its way to a different jetty 30 minutes away from us on the mainland. Kudos to the Bluewater ferry service for picking up the abandoned bag and sent it to their office albeit at a different nearby location. Again, I dont know how but i am so glad that TDR was able to get that information and relayed it back to us. After more than 8 hours of despair, with Godâs will, we got back our bag with the help of the staff of the resort, the staff of the Bluewater ferry service and possibly the networking within the small island. Thank you so much for the help TDR. Thank you for making this a really memorable trip with a happy ending.

Guest UserThe suite was good and spacious. It has balcony and the facility around that area is quite good. The view also nice. There is a few cafe to choose from, and retail outlet like The News and KK Mart outlet. There are basic room item provided such as iron and iron board, slippers, toothbrush, soap & Shampoo, kettle, coffee & tea, mugs, TV, safety box and hair dryer, but there is no mineral/drinking water, small fridge or microwave provided. However the check in is quite tricky as you may find the person arranging check in staying in the alley nearby The News outlet, there is no proper reception counter available. The customer service will not answer your call. They only reply via what's app so do not bother to call, you may get scolded by the lady who answered. This can be said as not a hotel service, so do not expect that kind of services from this provider. It is more like AirBnB style. However it was a nice stay just during the night i don't know why there is strange shouting and yelling and disturbing sound once in a while came out from nowhere. so it's quite disturbing my sleep a few time wake up in a shock hearing something unwelcoming sound. But if your ear is sound proof while sleeping i think it will not becoming a problem to you.

Ray Mak Hon KitThe past few days in Kuantan, we stayed at Kuantan Imperium Seaview by AVANZEE and honestly, we loved the experience.
Check-in was smooth, fast and hassle-free. The security guards and staff stationed near the mail room were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, making the entire process feel easy and comfortable right from the beginning.
Our unit was located on the 7th floor. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic feel. It felt like a cozy studio apartment equipped with a simple kitchenette complete with microwave oven, water filter, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Hairdryer and iron were also thoughtfully prepared inside the built-in wall cupboard, giving the room a sleek and minimalist appearance.
The TV came with Netflix and YouTube, though we barely had time to use them because Kuantan itself has so much to explore. Internet speed was decent too, which is important especially for travellers, foreigners or content creators who need reliable connectivity.
The bathroom was modern, clean and well-maintained. Shampoo and bath gel were provided as well.
One thing we really appreciated was the sleeping arrangement. Besides the main bed, there were also two very comfortable sofa beds. A family of four can easily stay here comfortably, or even more if travelling with young children. Extra pillows and blankets were also prepared in the cupboard.
Location wise, itâs almost perfect. The property is peacefully located slightly away from the busy city centre, yet still close enough for convenience â just across a short bridge. This balance makes it feel like a relaxing seaside escape without being too isolated.
The seaside is located directly beside the property and is only a short walk from the carpark. Every morning, we could see locals collecting clams along the shore. Their buckets were filled with white clams and edible sea snails, which was honestly quite fascinating to watch.
The facilities here are excellent too. Thereâs a beautiful swimming pool, wet and dry playgrounds for children, barbecue area and plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or staycation.
But perhaps the highlight for us was the breathtaking view from the room. Being on the East Coast of Malaysia, we were treated to stunning sunrises every morning as the sunlight reflected beautifully across the crystal-clear sea water. Sunset views can also be enjoyed from the opposite side in the evening.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again â hopefully next time together with the kids and our parents.

Anonymous UserI checked in on 17 May 2026, and overall, the stay was disappointing.
The room condition was poor and clearly needs serious refurbishment. The mattress appeared dirty, and several parts of the room looked old, worn out, and not properly maintained. The overall hotel lobby and atmosphere also felt run down and did not give a welcoming impression.
Service was also below expectation. The receptionist staff were not welcoming, and there was no bellboy available or on standby during check-in.
There was also confusion regarding the high tea service. A female staff member at the hostess station in the main restaurant informed us that the high tea set was available, the restaurant serving high tea closes at 6 pm, and walk-ins were acceptable. However, when we came back later at around 5 pm, a male staff member told us the restaurant was already closed and that booking was required for the high tea set. This was frustrating due to the inconsistent information given by the staff.
The breakfast buffet was also disappointing. The bread rolls were hard, the puff pastry tasted like an imitation and was unpleasant, and overall the food was mediocre.
Based on the room condition, service, facilities, and food quality, the hotel did not meet expectations and is in serious need of improvement.

Chloé KohAbsolutely horrid check in and check out process, the counter is at an entirely different hotel which makes no sense at all. You have to climb up and down a hill for checking in and out OR take a taxi. They could at least offer a buggy or something. The walls are paper thin, the corridor has a persistent bad smell with any minor noise exacerbated by the echoes, and the geniuses invented see through blinds where anyone in the corridor can see into your apartment. The toilet smelled terrible, and the TV is not even smart..

I booked the Royal suite but what I get like economy suite.
No toiletries except hair shampoo and shower liquid.
Slipper, oral care, face towel only sent upon request.
Tissue box was empty.
Asked soap bar for hand wash, the staff told me not provided. After I complaint the staff sent me a bottle of hand wash which like Belong to someone.
My room has pool but only provide 2 bath towels. When request, can give another 2 only. Means I can enter my pool 1x only. If enter more no towel to use.
Charge high price but provide below basic services .
The reception counter is on top and get wet when raining. Only 1 person on duty, if this person go to toilet. Have to wait for her to come back.
Breakfast very basic, less protein, no chicken nor fried or scrambled egg ⊠just hard boiled egg cut into half for Nasi Lemak.
Only 1 word: kedekut operator and lack of hospitality skills.

Guest UserThe beach chalet was nice and better than i thought. My room was clean, spacious and had everything i need. The room and bathroom were clean. Housekeeping and maintenance was fast when i needed them. Breakfast was great too. Every staff asked if i need any help when they passed by me and they were friendly.
The resort has a really great ambiance. It is perfect for holiday to relax. There are pools, volleyball sand courts, pickleball, cafe and just few walks away theres the beach! I really LOVE the vibe. As someone who had a one week stay there. I would come back and recommend others.
As for the bad sides, the room tbh is a bit old especially the aircond but it was functional so thats good. The tv is not smart tv but it has enough channels. The pillow might be too thick for some but the king-sized bed is huge. The room is not sound proof oops, i can hear my next door alarm clock and hairdryer sound but i m not too particular for that as at least i know theres PEOPLE next door lol. But because its not sound proof, if your chalet is near the parking, you ll the hear the sound of cars, and if you are near the beach you ll hear the people karaoke at night from the nearby cafe. In the morning, you ll hear the bird sounds. ALSO, there are biawak around đŠ, one time it was at my friends bathroom so always check!
Tips: the BEACH CHALET KING room is located more strategically especially for solo traveller like me. I feel safer and less scary sleeping alone as my chalet is near the parking and not far from swimming pool. The garden chalet seems a bit far from people so if you are alone, maybe dont consider that.
