The hotel isn't located in the city center or the old town. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the old town and other attractions, and about a 15-minute scooter ride to the central train station. It's not too remote, though, and is close to major intersections, making it safe to return home alone at night. The hotel also appears to be located within a music conservatory, with many young students coming and going every morning and evening, though they're all very quiet and not noisy.
The lobby door is small and retro, making it a bit difficult to find. Initially, I seemed to have walked into someone else's conservatory by mistake. 🤣 Although I arrived before check-in time, my room was cleaned and I was able to check in right away.
Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were very helpful. When I needed to replenish my room, they were very helpful. 😆
The single room was quite spacious, with plenty of room for luggage and other items. The windows opened for excellent ventilation, and although it faced the main road, the soundproofing was excellent when the windows were closed. However, the soundproofing between the room door and the floor was not very good. I was so tired and slept well, so it didn't bother me. The room cleanliness and bedding quality were both acceptable. Although it's an older hotel, the amenities were still quite good.
The room door is locked and opened with a key. While it can't be opened from the outside without the key, I usually lock it after entering for safety reasons. The key is connected to the power card, so every time I close the door, I have to use a flashlight to lock it in the dark. 😂 This is a bit inconvenient...
I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, so I don't know the quality, so I can't comment on it.
All in all, it was a very pleasant three-day stay here on a solo trip to Gdansk.
The hotel is a budget hotel with a good location. It is very close to the tram station. It is convenient to travel and easy to find. It is also close to the railway station. It is more economical for travel.
Good stay here. Lots of must-visit places, grocery stores and Christmas market are pretty close to this place. Room was clean and suitable for one person.
Great place to stay.

If it's summer, go to the beach and it's a good choice. The room facilities are old and the bathroom smells bad. The breakfast was very good compared to many hotels. Suitable for beach vacation and leisure. In the morning you can see the sunrise and the seaside

Rather dated hotel, in need of a refresh, excellent breakfast, reception staff not very helpful given that they forced us to have a room on the ground floor with no privacy, making it necessary to keep the curtains closed. There is a beautiful garden

So glad my friends and I found such a great value-for-money hotel in Gdansk for Easter. The front desk staff were lovely, and the breakfast was perfectly acceptable. Most importantly, the location is fantastic – just a few minutes' walk from Amber Street.

Everything is great. The room is large, there is a microwave, the bathroom is little dirty from previous guests. on the second day, there was no cleaning and no shower gel. I asked the receptionist about the shower gel, but they just shrugged their shoulders Gdansk is a beautiful city.

Good location of the hotel. Near the embankment, Polish restaurant. Beautiful building in which the hotel is located. Big shower. The parlor is located a mini kitchen: a refrigerator, a teapot, a microwave, dining appliances, dishes. There is a closet for things in the room. A comfortable bed. Breakfast is required on the eve of 8:00, for the choice of three breakfasts. Eggs, cheese. On me breakfast is so. Better go to the cafe.

KkthérèseNo Proper Air Conditioning – Uncomfortably Hot Stay
The apartment is in an excellent location—just a couple of minutes’ walk from Gdańsk Old Town—which is a real plus. It has all the basic amenities you’d expect: a washing machine, fridge, electric stove top, and the bathroom and bed were both clean and well-kept.
However, guests need to collect the apartment keys from a separate property management office rather than at the apartment itself, which is a bit inconvenient.
More importantly, the lack of a proper air conditioning unit really undermined the stay. The apartment only had a small, low-powered fan, which meant it was uncomfortably hot from the moment I arrived until I left. Sleeping at night was particularly difficult, even though the outside temperature was only in the high teens to low twenties—so I dread to think what it would be like during a real heatwave.
It’s a nice apartment in theory, but the absence of proper cooling makes it hard to recommend in warmer weather. After two nights, I moved to Apart Neptune in the Old Town, which had full air conditioning and was far more comfortable.
GGuest UserLovely hotel, modern, clean and convenient. Loved usinf the amenities and helped by friendly staff who answered all my queries and offered assistance.
AAnton KrasnovThe room was good, even if a bit small for two people, the water pressure was weak. They have a laundry you can use, which is an advantage. BUT! The communication is very bad, especially for the hotel without reception. They didn’t send me check-in instructions in advance, and I had to have a written communication with trip.com support on my arrival day for the whole day to get them, which is unacceptable. And also, even though they say they have 24/7 support, the hotel responded to me about my inquiry only the next day. They were nice to let us check-in later, but we needed this information earlier than we received it.
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at HOLA Gdynia! The hotel’s modern design, comfortable clean rooms, and great location near the waterfront made it an ideal choice. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests. The breakfast selection was fresh and delicious, providing a perfect start to the day. I would highly recommend HOLA Gdynia for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay in the heart of the city.
BbonniebonniebonnieThe room was clean and tidy, especially the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a bottle of shower shampoo with ginseng essence, a large and a small towel, a fixed hair dryer and toilet paper. No slippers and toothbrush toothpaste. The room has a fan, coffee tea bags, and a kettle. The hotel is two supermarkets, the cheapest brand supermarket and Carrefour that locals like. The hotel is the bus stop, you can 4.8 yuan one-way to the central train station, etc., or 6 yuan 75 minutes bus light rail and other interchange. The nearest Italian restaurant is 1.5 kilometers, but the front desk will help order food, there are delicious pizza and Polish dishes. Overall, the breakfast is very good, the front desk is very good and the transportation is convenient.
GGuest UserLocation, room, service, breakfast, price is very satisfied, if it is not a hurry, I would like to stay one more night. Recommended to Gdansk!
GGuest UserThe hotel was centrally located, right across from St Mary’s cathedral. Room was quiet and clean, although on the small side. There was no air conditioning but the window could be opened and there was an efficient stand up oscillating fan. Front desk was open 24hrs and staff was friendly and helpful. There was no pool and we did not visit the spa, so I can’t comment on that. The hotel offered a breakfast buffet for a reasonable price but there were so many bakeries and restaurants nearby, we did not take advantage of it.
EEril Ken TravelsThis hotel is nice! Simple yet elegant. I had the chance to stay here on my way to Bydgoszcz. Staff are very friendly, accommodating, and polite. The hotel is clean, they change the towels everyday, and you can ask for your bed linens to be changed too. Breakfast is buffet style and there’s a great selection of food. The only problem is the hotel’s location if you are a tourist. The tourist spots are a bit far. But there’s a beautiful park nearby. All in all, this hotel is great! I enjoyed my stay!
JJudyThis hotel is conveniently located in the heart of old town~ whether you’re walking to cafes and bars or shopping Centre or sightseeing or the shopping mall~ it’s all nearby.
For breakfast, there’s a little restaurant tat serves great quality food. Called Stodko Stone.
You’d sometimes hear drunken tourist making a noise so I’d suggest you request a room away from the Main Street.
