Newer hotel, the room is clean and tidy, there are many free parking spaces, the parking lot is bright at night, next to the hotel is Wal-Mart supermarket, unfortunately we arrived on Christmas Eve and closed. The next day is Christmas, the hotel offers a free breakfast, very intimate!

Older lady in breakfast/ restaurant area is the best human being I've ever met! Friendly staff. Easy check in, especially after arriving after midnight. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Pool and gym accessibility. Parking relatively close to room entrances. Black out shades make for good sleep! 👍🏾 Relatively inexpensive. Now my go to hotel when I'm in to see family!

In fact, it's a small city that Americans probably won't come to often, but if you do, I highly recommend staying here! The facilities are good for the price, and there's a free breakfast, so it's convenient :) It's also a 3-minute walk to downtown?

MMichelle EveattThe hotel was clean and staff were friendly.  However, there was nothing but ice as far as amenities go.  The snack station was there, but there was nothing in it to buy.  There were no vending machines.  The included breakfast was a few prepackaged muffins and nutrigrain bars, coffee and juice.   I have attached pictures of the room.  Door frames were completely broken.  Door would hardly open or shut.  The toilet seat was broken, the exhaust fan was hanging from the ceiling in the bathroom, and the smoke detector was hanging by the wires.  The shower would not turn off if you tried to take a bath, and the plug did not work to keep the water in the tub when attempting to take a bath. Most of these issues are routine maintenance items.  For $87.14, I would at least except a well maintained hotel room.  Room 118 was not that room. Thank you for the opportunity to submit a review.

GGuest UserEverything was excellent. Staff, cleanliness, the room. I was surprised that there was a kitchenette with dishes. There was not a view of the river, but the nearby arena shot off fireworks and I could see those from the room! There's a coffeeshop across the parking lot, though it wasn't needed since there's coffee available in the lobby. The breakfast included hot food items and several toppings like nuts and berries for either oatmeal or yogurt. Parking was very easy. It has a pool right off the elevator. The alarm clock was easier to set than most. The mattress was very soft. I like the rug under the sofa, which I believe is intended for dogs and would be easily washable. The TV had free Showtime. I would stay there again.

JJessica Reese McIntyreStaff are friendly. No cleanliness issues. Smells clean, but not offensively so. Fitness room was standard but nice and clean. Breakfast was fine as well. Had hot food and not just cereal and toast. Shower had good water pressure. Indoor pool looked nice, but never visited it. It is an older building but maintained from what I could tell. The tile in the bathroom was cold but clean. My only complaint is that adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to make a difference as the room was very cold. I just shut it off so it wouldn't blow cold air into the room as I was barely in the room except sleeping and getting ready for a workshop. I plan to stay here in the future if I'm ever in the area.

MMyty LouWe love Embassy Suites by Hilton! Number 1 reason for its safety and cleanliness! We stayed there for 6 nights, and it felt like home. They have a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, TVs in the bedroom and living room, and the crib we requested for the baby! Plus points for the laundry on the second floor! Their breakfast is great, but, you know, six days with the same breakfast? I'd rather sleep. LOL! Seriously, we love how cozy our room is!

CColleen NelsonWe had a great stay - part of a wedding group and dozens of family members staying in this hotel. Staff was very friendly and plentiful...especially important in the morning during breakfast! The food was good and they did a good job of keeping things full and hot. My only complaint was that our king room was quite small and the headboard of the bed was against the wall shared with the bathroom...so ”noises” were a problem in the morning.

LLuweezyanaVery nice stay in the heart of Old Town. I lived in Wichita for 6 years when I was stationed at McConnell but this is my first time staying here. Very nice staff, Lester checked me in and Alejandra was a cool bartender to talk to. Room was nice, hotel is beautiful. My only small complaint is that the bathroom was already empty but I just used the handsoap instead. Price wasn't to terrible for the location. 8.5/10

GGuest UserThe kids were sooooo excited to go swimming. That lasted approximately 3 seconds once they jumped in! It was freezing!  Anyway, the beds were ridiculously hard. Thin top blanket, but it didn’t matter because the AC kept shutting off. None of us slept well.  Regardless, my 9 year old actually said he would have rather slept in the car while we kept on driving. That’s how uncomfortable he was… 🤷♀️
