Furniture was a little worn. Clean though. Close to Bass Pro, Hobby Lobby & Mardel. Several fast food and restaurants close by. We did not eat the breakfast, since a convention was going on that we were not aware of. We would stay again if we are in the Independence area.

We had a group of 12 biking the Katy Trail. Being right next to the trail this was a great place to spend the night. They allowed us to take the bikes to our rooms. Food in the restaurant is delicious!

Close to the airport, there is a shuttle bus, the price is also affordable, there are breakfast, refrigerator, microwave oven, etc., the room is also big, can only be checked after 12 o'clock, the earliest airport in the morning is delivered at 4:1, the driver is good, can not help but give tip

The two rooms are connected and have doors. If you are traveling with friends, you can ask to be arranged together. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very noisy and would not turn off. The air conditioner was also very noisy, but the weather was nice, so I turned it off to make it a little quieter. Breakfast is 15 knives, 16.31 knives plus tax, which feels average, but there are no places to eat around. There is a drop-off service, just give the driver a small tip. There is hot water and hot coffee at the wall when you enter every morning. At other times, you have to go to the restaurant to get it. Overall it's okay.

I really only booked the room to have a place to sleep and shower for two nights, and the hotel got one of these right. The shower was a problem because, when the shower was turned on, water would gather on the ceiling and rain down. It was very unpleasant, so I skipped a shower on my second night, took a video of the problem, and shared my concern and the video with hotel staff when I checked out. Other than that, the room and common areas seemed to be mostly clean, although I cleaned things in the room that housekeeping clearly didn't get to (e.g., a sticky microwave knob). I also found the elevators intolerably hot. Yes, it was record heat outside, but I don't understand why the elevator cars weren't air conditioned like the rest of the hotel common areas. As for breakfast, it was okay for consumers of the standard American diet - I.e., high fat, high sugar - and, as a whole-food plant-based consumer, not terribly appealing. But, this is mid-America.

We have stayed with Drury before, but different locations in St. Louis. This was our first time at the Arch location and won't be our last! Absolutely wonderful customer service. Best kickback yet! My son had a wonderful experience hitting up the Market for a late snack and the associate was soooo nice! They had microwaveable pizza and candy, perfect! Will Absolutely stay here again.

A little far from the union station, it is hard to walk. But at the top, you can see the arches of St. Louis. The first floor lobby is open and free of charge, and the variety is not enough. It seems to have a gym but didn't go. The room is a little small, there is a refrigerator, but the outside door is actually painted like a drawer, which is nothing if it is not found.

NnambismeriFriendly and helpful front desk. Comfortable room on top floor. Large comfortable shared lounge and games area if wanted for a group. Convenient location to universities and train station or town amenities by car or walking. Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking, but you can get advice for where in the city to park.

GGuest UserTwo of the main things I looked for when booking was a pool and free parking. The pool was indoors which was fine. Was surprised to see how small it was and was a big let down that it was so freezing we couldn’t enjoy it at all. So it was a let down that one of the main reasons I booked here we didn’t get to use the pool. This place does have newer furniture in its rooms but the floor throughout and the furniture it the lobby is just stained up and dingy. The signs on 1st floor for ice machine/vending are wrong. Asked a rude house keeper that was upset bc I guess I interrupted her cleaning. She had told me it was around the corner…. The out of order machine was on the other side of the building. I finally found me an ice machine on next floor. The people at the front desk are very nice and courteous. Really nice. But wish they had explained more on their parking so that I didn’t end up with a ticket each day I was there. So they have no free parking lots at the moment. You either have to park in their drop off zone are a section of street parking on the side. The other lots available you have to pay per day. Due to this I found a spot on the side (side street parking as they suggested) and I didn’t move my car. I kept it there the entire time and walked everywhere I needed to go. Well when I went to leave I had parking tickets racked up for several days. I went in and asked them if that was there parking as told previously and they said yes. I told them about the tickets and they said it was managed by the city and u have to back in or get a ticket. That would be nice to know when you offer that as a parking suggestion. I go out to lot to see if there was a sign. There was a sign many spots down that in the direction I was coming from wouldn’t have seen. I also looked all almost every vehicle was parked wrong way so obviously they weren’t told or didn’t see sign either. I started warning those I could. $30 a day ticket city it making a lot of money of that small parking section from out of towners etc that don’t know ST Louis parking laws …. The hotel won’t warn u of this and they know. Besides these couple things everything else was good.

GGuest UserDisappointing Stay – Would Strongly Advise Against Booking I traveled to Festus for a car show and needed a budget-friendly hotel near local amenities. While this property met that basic requirement, nearly every other aspect of my stay was a disappointment—and at times, unacceptable. To start, the hotel was unbearably hot inside. There was no functioning indoor air conditioning, and the common areas remained well above 80 degrees throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, but the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the facility—unable to even direct me to the pool, which I never located due to the complete lack of signage. The complimentary breakfast was, frankly, insulting. The food options were minimal and unappetizing—particularly the English muffins, which were so hard they could double as hockey pucks. The oppressive heat made it nearly impossible to sit and eat in the dining area anyway. My room, while clean, was far from comfortable. The mattress was extremely hard—comparable to sleeping on bare concrete—and the cramped toilet and shower area offered no room to move. Several cockroaches were spotted both in my room and in common areas, raising serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. While I understand the hotel is currently under construction and the staff I interacted with were courteous, that alone cannot excuse the overall experience. The current conditions are simply not acceptable for paying guests. I had high hopes for this location but left deeply disappointed. Unless you have absolutely no other options within your budget, or until after renovations are fully completed (well beyond 2025), I strongly advise against staying here. I will not be returning.

RReedPAn absolutely great location that is right across the street from the new St. Louis city soccer stadium, it's two blocks walking distance from the city market Union station area. It's easily accessible just off of I64. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and fairly well stocked. And the one downside would be the in room refrigerator. It was very tiny and had no freezer section, which depending on the visitor they may or may not need. I am coming from far enough away and with children that I needed to refreeze freezer packs for snacks. The breakfast each morning was okay. It was scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs with cheese plus sausage. One morning it was a choice of turkey, sausage patties or pork sausage patties, while the next day was a choice of pork sausage links or chicken sausage links. Links. Plus they had the standard bread, English muffin, bagels, muffin, fruit. The downside would be the lack of waffle maker. I don't know why that makes a difference, because I don't really eat waffles. But my kid loves waffles and loves to make them. And instead of having a waffle maker, they had a hot plate filled with pre-made bagged frozen waffles that they had preheated for everybody. Oh yeah in my pics you'll see a pic of my kid's milk. IT wasn't expired, but the ad on it was and it gave me quite a scare when I saw it. And depending on plans, and what I need to be close to, if need be I will definitely stay here again with my family. The area was safe, clean, and I forgot the funniest part... Directly across the street from the FBI. LOL 😂🚓🚔

RReedPThis is the 3rd or 4th time we've stayed here (I say 3, wife says 4 😂) and this time was definitely our least favorite. We'll still try it again but the amenities weren't up to previous stays. I have booked the same style of room (1 King + Sofa Bed) every time, and we got that... But DANG was it tiny! There was literally 6-8 inches of walking room. The bathroom was overly spacious and the room could've used some of that. The breakfast was rough too. Previously there were waffle makers, oatmeal, and other great hot options. This stay had eggs 👍 and shredded cheese 👍. While I give props for including a meatless ”sausage”, the standard pork sausage was mislabeled. The waffle selection was mismanaged. They offered a ”waffle with pearl sugar”, which is fine bc we've had those at other places. BUT instead of leaving the waffles in their single serve pouches, the employee was standing there opening them and putting them in the service container. 1) that's unnecessary touching by the employee & slobs who don't know what tongs are. 2) if kept in its package THEY WON'T DRY OUT. Also 3) in its package it's a perfect food for the grab and go guests. Every single staff member we interacted with was AMAZING! The front desk, housekeeping, etc were all wonderful. We will be back, but definitely might need a different approach to the room.

GGuest UserBest place to stay in the Clayton/STL area if you are visiting WashU. Staff is A+. I have tried at least five other hotels, and since I stayed in January 2024, I constantly repeat when I visit the town. Breakfast is GREAT! This is not your typical breakfast ”INCLUDED!” Extremely clean! They are doing renovations, and you will be greatly surprised at how good it looks every time you go! Plenty of parking and safe! Stay here, you won't regret it!

GGuest UserLocation was fine. Room seemed standard level of clean. Toilet paper is ultra thin, and the soap and shampoo was very watered down, so I left the room feeling dirty. Sofa bed was so substandard that we wouldn't let our 12 year old sleep on it. The springs really dig into your back. Everything seemed clean, but felt so cheap that we felt cheap staying there. Coffee machine in the room was broken and it didn't seem worth the effort to complain about it. Ex-wife complained about the air conditioner next to the bed being too loud and coming on and off all night long that she had issues sleeping. Breakfast was solid, though. Waffle station was a hit, though the oatmeal, like the soap and shampoo, was very watery. Eggs and sausage were above average. No sliced bread, though they offered English muffins and bagels. Staff was very friendly. Best part about the stay was how amicable they all were. Makes me feel bad writing the rest of the review. Would probably avoid the hotel in the future if there were better options. It's passable, but doesn't live up to my standards and doesn't seem worth the price.

GGuest UserI have used this hotel for work trips a couple of times. It is well located, at 44 and 270, making it easy to drive out to various places in the StL Metro area. This is not a romantic getaway hotel, it's a straightforward ”I need a place to sleep” hotel, and nothing more. It's clean, comfortable, and quiet. Don't let the ”industrial” locale put you off. The people who work here are very friendly, and the rates are very reasonable. I don't do hotel breakfasts, but looking in the dining room, it's the typical make your own waffle, scrambled eggs kind of breakfast. The coffee and coffee maker in the room is very good. They also have microwaves and fridges in the rooms.
