The hotel is a bit far from Pudong Airport. The shuttle to the airport runs hourly by bus, and it takes about ten minutes to get there. The hotel's hygiene and facilities are pretty good. I was given a room on the first floor, very close to the lobby, so I could just open the door in the morning and head straight to the airport shuttle bus.

To be honest, this hotel is great value for money. I was nervous before going there, but after arriving, everything felt great. Look at the pictures. There is a bus from the airport, which only takes half an hour to get there. There is also an airport shuttle in the morning. There is a barbecue opposite the hotel, and the taste is very good. In a word, I am very satisfied!

The rooms are clean and location is great. The 2 rooms we booked though are the windowless rooms. They gave us 1 on the 2nd floor which has more room space but very awkward shower. The 2nd room was on the 8th floor which has normal rectangular shower area but the room basically just had enough space for a queen bed against the wall on 3 sides and a small space to the door, bed and toilet/shower.
The cleaning staffs were very friendly and helpful. The reception staff were not as helpful. They basically just do checkin. Anything else you ask them to help like confirming the hotel address we enter for Didi booking is correct, she just told us to do ourself.

Better than expected! I personally felt that even though the space wasn't super wide, it was actually a bit bigger than what the official photos showed, so two people sleeping there shouldn't be a problem. The bathroom was very clean, and they provided disposable towels to avoid any hygiene issues. I was initially worried the shower area would be too small based on the pictures, but it was actually decent to use. The natural light is amazing, so much so that if you don't close the sheer curtains at noon, the room really heats up from the sun. You'll naturally wake up when the sun shines in the morning. If you love sunshine and want to regulate your body clock, booking this place is really worth it. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the subway station, probably about a ten-minute walk, and you'd still need to take the subway to get to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. However, the positives far outweigh the negatives; the natural light alone makes it highly recommendable!
I have spent here two nights with my family, the hotel staff so cooperative, hotel cleaning, environment and management is very nice. Metro Station is very near to the hotel. Hotel location also recommended. Being a Muslim from Pakistan Halal Food restaurant+ General Shops/ Markets+ Pharmacy+and fruits shops were also to near the hotel. I once again thankfull to hotel Staff and bundle of thanks for Trip.com for help us in reasonable hotels and easily making payments and free cancellations

The room was surprisingly spacious, the environment was pleasant, and the cleanliness was excellent. I even saw the morning glow when I left to catch a taxi. The hotel offers a shuttle service to Hongqiao Airport (only T2/T1 pickups and drop-offs); although my flight was too early to use it, it's a great option if you plan ahead. Otherwise, taking a taxi to the airport is also very convenient.
After a long and tiring day of travel, I arrived at the hotel late at night. I was immediately impressed by the lobby's appearance, and the front desk staff greeted me warmly and efficiently arranged my room. The room itself was impeccably clean and well-maintained. For the price, this hotel offers excellent value for money. I took a much-needed hot shower, which was great for washing away the day's fatigue. It was a pleasant surprise to find a laundry room with washing machines available, so I took the opportunity to clean my clothes. Once everything was taken care of, I enjoyed a wonderfully comfortable and restful sleep. Overall, everything was fantastic. Despite this being my first stay here, the experience was truly exceptional, and I will definitely be back.

The room was spotless and the environment was just as depicted in the photos. They even put a pleasant air freshener in the bathroom. Considering its city center location, the price and cleanliness offer excellent value for money. I had a very comfortable stay.

I stayed here for only one night. I can tell that the location is fantastic just in the pagodas and the night market street.
The room was huge and very clean. The shower, was the best I have had in China so far. Air conditioning working very well. People in the hotel do not speak much English but they do an effort to try to understand

I stayed here for two consecutive nights, and I felt everything was great. Every staff member at the hotel was professional and enthusiastic. The front desk offers free luggage storage, both before check-in and after check-out. The hotel is centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, surrounded by numerous malls and restaurants, making it very convenient for shopping, entertainment, or trying local delicacies. The soundproofing is also quite good; I couldn't hear any noise from neighbors and slept very soundly both nights. All in all, this is a hotel that excels in cleanliness, soundproofing, service, and location, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it to every traveler.

WWenmangxiaoding🌟 Five-star recommendation! This hidden gem of a room in Jing'an far exceeded my expectations! The curved sofa in the living room has an amazing texture, super soft and incredibly comfortable. The bedroom is decorated warmly and tastefully, with the wallpaper and furniture perfectly complementing each other. The room was clean and tidy; you can tell a lot of thought went into the wooden floors and soft furnishings. Plus, it's located right in the heart of Jing'an District, making getting around super convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shanghai!

MM658246****The room was more spacious than I'd imagined, and the view from the window was quite nice, with Jing'an Temple visible in the distance. The walk-through area in the room was just wide enough to open a suitcase, leaving little extra space, but it was perfectly fine for a solo trip.
Soundproofing in the room wasn't great; noises from outside the door were quite clear (though this is a common drawback of hostels). This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Transportation is incredibly convenient, as it's only about a three-minute walk from the subway station, which really helps save on travel expenses.
**Cleanliness:** The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean; an attendant would clean them immediately after each use, which was very reassuring.
**Service:** Upon arrival, a staff member showed me to my room and introduced the facilities. The lobby offered quite a few amenities; I recall there was an ice machine, and I even borrowed an umbrella from the front desk when it rained during my stay.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

AAnastasia88The hotel is a great value for money. Our room was clean. We received all the necessary amenities in the room. Breakfast is Chinese style, but has plenty of options to choose from. Generally the food was good and included in the room rate. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly, they fixed every issue effectively and fast enough. The location just right at the central railway station and also you can walk to the city center within 30 minutes. Very good location. I recommend this property to anyone who wants to travel around with ease. Thank you for the great stay and we will comeback soon 😊
FFaithBI had a good stay in this hotel. I almost missed finding this hotel though as it had a small entrance. The reception was ok but didn't really speak english -- had to use google translate to communicate. There was only one elevator so at times, there are wait times. I got a double room with window hoping it would be bigger but it was quite small. It's big enough for 1 person though! Although there was a window, all I can see is the wall. 🙂↕️. I'm happy they had amenities that I needed -- towels, shampoo, hair dryer! They also provide 2 bottles of water per day, which is good! The surrounding area is convenient as well as it's near a convenience store, restaurants and subway station. I would recommend this hotel for its value, cleanliness and convenience. 👍
Ssunny405I read both positive and negative reviews before checking in, and I think it might depend on the specific room or room type. I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in the negative reviews.
It's in a bustling area, convenient for getting a US visa, and offers great value for money. The only minor thing is that the window doesn't open.
The smart assistant (XiaoDu) gets a bonus +10 points!

WWoaiyanjiuThe room is very clean. They help to clean it every day. The most important thing is that it is close to the subway station. It is convenient to go everywhere. There is also a Domino's Pizza next to it. The price is very affordable. It is really good.
Service: The service is also very good and the breakfast is delicious
GGuest UserThe room was very clean and tidy. The front desk staff even gave us a complimentary room upgrade. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area for a business trip again.
MMahuadadaI've stayed here many times! I basically stay here every time I come to Shanghai for Disneyland. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and public transportation is very convenient. This time, they opened a new branch nearby, and the rooms are very spacious! Thumbs up!
MM312631****I stayed here for a while, and it turns out quite a few people do the same. People coming and going, it's like a summer memory.
The location is convenient, with a supermarket and Hema (fresh food market) right downstairs. The environment is pretty clean and tidy, and there's a big living room. When I first moved in, I really liked studying there, it was very convenient.
About 90% of the guests have reasonable schedules, but in between, I did encounter some inconsiderate people: people opening and closing doors at 2 AM, people deliberately slamming doors with loud bangs, and people sharing one bed in a room – after all, it's a shared space, not your home.
Sleeping in here is impossible; there are always people waking up at 6 or 7 AM, and you'll be disturbed.
Among the comings and goings, I also met some nice people, some very good-looking ones, and some who were very enthusiastic and communicative.
The drying area here is great, there's a rooftop, otherwise, I really couldn't have stayed for a long time.
YYoYo_beichenI was looking for a youth hostel near Laoximen and found Dunbar, which had excellent reviews.
Not only is the location convenient, close to the subway entrance/exit, but the environment is also fantastic. The rooms are spacious, and everyone has their own small locker, so it feels very secure. The bedding is changed for each guest, and the cleaning staff tidy up daily, keeping everything very clean and hygienic.
Most importantly, the bathrooms are also great. They are separated for men and women, and the toilets and showers are wet/dry separated. The showers even provide body wash and shampoo, and there's a curtain to prevent clothes from getting wet.
They also occasionally organize activities, and there are many foreign travelers staying here.
Located in the city center, the atmosphere is wonderful. Definitely recommended!
