Stayed for two nights. Every morning I was woken up by the waiter at around 8 or 9 o'clock. On the first day, there was knocking on the door. It was bang bang bang when both of us were sleeping. Saying that we didn't need to clean and later didn't work. I opened the door and spoke in Spanish very quickly and I couldn't understand it at all. Anyway, I asked him to leave. It seemed that there was knocking on the door again after a while, which affected my rest. On the second day, we were woken up by the room phone at around 9 o'clock when we were sleeping soundly. . I answered the phone but there was no sound from the other end. I was woken up two days. There are many hotels in downtown and Loretto is also very beautiful. Anyway, there is no need to choose this hotel for the location or something. I am so angry. The toilet was blocked after using it normally. The cleaning didn't change the towels on the first day and there was no use on the second night. There is no bottled mineral water in the room, not even at the front desk? ! ! !

So close to the terminal, just follow the signs once you exit the terminal, cross a couple of roads and you're in the property parking lot. It's clean and although an old hotel it's kept clean and updated here and there. For example beds have seen better times, but washroom was looking good. Staff was great, food was fine and served fast. On the down side one two items: 1 only decaf coffee in the room, odd eh 2 the shower drain wasn't great and will not drain fast enough

Sandia is a beautiful hotel, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Trip.com for providing such a great rate for my husband and I to be able to stay at this hotel for the first time. The whole experience there was wonderful!

I thought the location was great. Downtown is relatively slow moving but it seems create easy access to the rest of the city. The rooms are relatively basic I got to experience the ones with an updated bathroom and the ones without. The gym is very lackluster and the pool is even more so. Staff is hit or miss. Some people were kind and attentive, others were not. There’s definitely construction going on so there are the sounds of that happening throughout the hotel. Other than that there’s not much more to tell. Nothing that really stands out in a negative or positive way.

This hotel was fantastic. The retro look and attention to detail in the rooms made this hotel an enjoyable experience. The staff was super friendly, the pool was very nice, and the bed was super comfortable. The price was also fantastic. If you are on the fence about booking, do it, as you won't be disappointed.

I booked a suite with two double beds, and since I was planning to walk all day, I emailed the hotel directly to make sure I would be able to get a room with a bathtub to relieve my fatigue, but unfortunately, because a group of guests had arrived on the day, I ended up with a room with only a shower during my stay, which was disappointing. There was also no coffee maker in the room, so I had to go to the bar area near the front desk to get one until 11am, which was inconvenient. It was a short distance from the room, but when I had no choice but to get dressed and go to get a coffee, I happened to see a person wearing only a bathrobe with the front open, with their legs open and barefoot, which taught me that I don't need to be so careful. I was in a hurry to look away, so I don't know if the person was a man or a woman. It was convenient that you could request a free shuttle bus (only a tip) anywhere within the map of Santa Fe center (you can get a map) from around 9 or 10am until 10pm. When you leave the hotel, tell the front desk and wait at the entrance, and a very friendly driver will come to you in about 1-5 minutes. Also, to pick up from outside to the hotel, you need to call the front desk and tell them the location. This time, I couldn't use the phone in the United States, so I used Uber taxi every time I went back, but I had no problem using Uber taxi in Santa Fe. It's okay to walk to the center during the day, but it seems better to avoid walking after dark for safety reasons. Tomasita's restaurant, which is just a few minutes walk away, served very delicious southwestern food. Also, if you leave the hotel door and go around the parking area, you'll find the Saturday morning Farmers Market right outside the back door. There is also an area (indoors and outdoors) adjacent to the Farmers Market where you can buy souvenirs such as accessories and tile art directly from local producers, which was fun. At night, you can enjoy live music in the restaurant area with a fireplace. The Native American flute performance was very fantastic and wonderful. The room has a high ceiling and is spacious, but there is no door on the sink, so it's a bit hesitant to use the hair dryer when someone is sleeping. The bed was high, so Japanese people had to climb up on it and couldn't sit down, but it was very comfortable.

I didn't expect that there is such a unique hotel with such a design in ABQ. The price is also very cheap and it is worth a try. Chaco is a must-try when you come to ABQ!

Only two problem I encounter was 1. One Elevator was out, then hours later both of them was out of order, I was in the forth floor, had to do trips to get everything out. 2. I asked for blanket and pillow 3 times no one came. That's all.

GGuest UserA shower is not simply a shower for me. A shower is a way of acclimating myself to the lucidity required to engage in everyday life. It is a way to mentally and physically prepare myself for whatever may lie ahead for me for the day. It's a routine that borders on a spiritual ritual to allow myself to function in the world at my maximum potential. I am not exaggerating, then, when I say my shower at The Inn and Spa at Loretto was one of the most uncomfortable experiences in my life. I awoke early in the morning in eager anticipation to enjoy everything Santa Fe has to offer, and as I watched the sun rise over the Sangre de Christo Mountains, marveling at the beauty of the New Mexico sunrise. All that was left for me was to take my shower and prepare for the day. Nothing could have prepared me for what happened next. I stepped into the bathroom and made my way over to the shower, and turned the knob as I always would to roughly halfway to initiate the process. As I anxiously waited to begin my shower routine, the bathroom quickly filled with steam. After the cool morning air this felt nice at first, but of course I didn't want to scald myself! I turned the faucet back towards the cool side as I stepped into the shower, expecting that I understood where I would reach a ”warm” temperature. Within seconds I was blasted with ice cold water as if straight from a glacier. Pain shot up my spine to my neck as the icy water rained upon me, and I reflexively turned the knob back towards the hot side, thinking I surely had found the ”happy medium”. Within moments I was engulfed in red hot water that felt as if it had just been boiled in a tea pot across my face and neck, stunning me yet again. Frustrated, I moved the shower head directly to the floor, spraying my feet with the same steaming water. I then carefully moved the faucet, one centimeter at a time towards the cold side, gauging the point at which the water would begin to cool. Amazingly, there was no change. After 10 or so careful movements of the knob, the water began to cool, to my great relief. However, within moments the ice cold water returned, once again sending shivers up my spine. After more experimentation and constant discomfort, it became clear that there were only two options for this shower: burning hot or ice cold. The rest of my shower was spent doing a horrible dance of moving between excessively hot and cold water, moving my body out of the water frequently to minimize the pain. I ultimately managed to do the bare minimum necessary to get myself clean, with the chance of a relaxing and revitalizing experience clearly being out of the question. This is not how I would want anyone to start their day, and I feel this should be unacceptable for a hotel with the stature and reputation of The Inn and Spa at Loretto. While the rest of my experience there was quite nice, this shower left me with an awful feeling for much of my day. I hope they are able to ensure that future guests do not have to go through an experience like this.

GGuest UserWe had a wonderful stay at the El Monte Sagrado hotel. We had mistakenly booked an accessible room, and wanted a tub in our room. Amy at the front desk was extremely helpful, and switched us into another room, brought us new keys and escorted us to a room with a wonderful tub. We were there on the last night of our honeymoon, and the staff added wonderful little perks and touches to make our honeymoon extra special. When it started raining, the valet staff had complimentary umbrellas on hand for our trip into town. In short, The El Monte Sagrado is a wonderful place with great service!

GGuest UserA nice hotel located just a block from Lensic & Georgia Okeefe musuem and just a five minute stroll to plaza. Room was spacious and bathroom appeared to be updated though wallpaper was pealing. Nice touch: most lights on dimmers! Refrigerator was missing temp control knob and in need if defrosting. Most of our items froze within 24 hours. Our workout in fitness center was interrupted by a mechanical mishap that filled the room with smoke!. Luggage racks only for use by bellhops so bring some currency to tip! No EV charger in garage.

The hotel decoration style is very good and very attentive, the room area is also relatively large, that is, I do not know how to distinguish the room type when booking, the room type feels in the annex building, looks like a motel from the outside, the window is the hotel parking lot, then the outside is high speed, a bit noisy , the room will be better in the main building
