The owner is really nice and the place seems to be popular among foreigners. It's not a hotel so everyone shared a bathroom and toilet. However, towels are replaced everyday and the places are clean. It's just the location is far from Iseshi station, about 20 mins., with a steep hill so it was quite tiring to reach it.

The facilities were old, but the free breakfast was good and delicious. There were convenience stores and restaurants nearby, so it was convenient. I'd like to go again.

We stayed at Sanco Inn Kuwana for a night when we were in town to attend a wedding and found it to be a small but well-equipped hotel in a quiet, charming town. While the room and bathroom were quite compact—just enough space to open one suitcase—they thoughtfully included a small bathtub, though it may be a tight fit for taller guests when showering. It was adequate for us (a family of 2 adults 1 toddler) The hotel impressed us with its attention to detail, offering various types of pillows and night robes in different sizes, even for children. Breakfast was a concise but well-curated selection. It’s best to come down early, as seating can be limited and there may be a queue for food. Conveniently, takeaway boxes were also available for those who prefer to eat on the go. The location was great, with several convenience stores nearby and the train station just a few minutes’ walk away. A comfortable and practical stay for a short trip!

The inside of the hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the amenities. The breakfast was healthy and I was able to get refills of barley rice and pork soup.

I didn't have any hope because it was a temporary booking. There is also a large supermarket near Kumano Station. The service is very good. The front desk let me check in early, because I think the pillow is too high to see the uncle help me go to the second floor to get the pillow, thank you above! Kumano is a beautiful place. Many attractions are worth coming, probably because of traffic problems. There are not many tourists.

It was good to be able to choose various types of shampoo! △ There was no selection button for air conditioning or heating in the room, but the shower head was retrofitted and the water pressure was strong! I was able to spend comfortably because I only went to bed.

松坂で豪華な食事とレトロを格安で楽しむならここ！ マラソン参加で予約しました。 前日は店構えに惹かれて鯛屋旅館さんに泊まったんですが、内装は平成の家って感じで外国語表示があったり、思ってたのと違ってレトロ感なしで残念だったんですが、 ２日目、わんぱくご飯とのレビューに惹かれてこちらに宿泊。当たりでした！ 店構えは普通なのに内装は明治ー大正レトロ！ 流しは、タイルで廊下もいい感じ！ お庭も良さそうなので選んだ部屋がサイトの写真と同じ、眺めのいい部屋で最高でした！！！ 中庭が結構広くて、2階も手すりとか木造の良さげな感じ。お風呂もシンプルなタイルだけど少しレトロで広い！一人で軽く泳げる笑 脱衣所はドアがスースーなので、中こそ見えないけど音は丸聞こえなので、レビューにあるようにちょっと落ち着かないかも。でも、脱衣所に江戸時代くらいのタンスがあったり、目で楽しめた。 ご飯は写真の通りとにかく豪華。伊勢海老、お肉！肉肉！ 一升びんさんで軽く食べたことを後悔。お肉は翌朝に回してもらいました。白ごはんも契約農家さんらしく美味しい！ 食事だけで元がとれるお宿。 ただ、料理にお金をかけまくってるので、 お布団はクタクタです。そこは目を瞑りましょう。 アンタッチャブルTVでお布団を買い替えてあげて欲しいくらいです。クラファンで布団買い換えてもらったらいいのに、、、でもそうすると完璧な宿になるので、かなりコスパも評判もただあがりで予約とれなくなるかもだけど。 朝は朝で高級ホテルみたいなフワトロオムレツでびっくりしました。ここの板前さんは和洋とり混ぜたハイレベルの料理人だとわかります。 中居さんもとてもいい人で、食後にお布団をしいてもらう電話をかけてください　と言われたのですが、その際に電話まで少しの距離だけどマラソン後の私が歩きにくいだろうと気遣って、わざわざ電話を真横まで移動させてくれる神対応。素晴らしい方でした。プロ中のプロですね。 朝食の方も、忙しい中、なごやかな会話で癒してくださいました。 普段、色んなところで色んな体験をしたいので あまり同じところをリピートしない人なのですが、ここは来年もリピート確定です。結構直前で予約したのに大当たり！本当にお世話になり、ありがとうございました！！！ 内装も素晴らしいので、状態を維持してほしいなぁというところです。（トイレは新しかった）廊下、洗面に関しては文化財指定でもおかしくない。確か明治からの宿とのこと。守って行ってほしい！

I stayed in the annex. It was a double room. As soon as I entered the room, I got the impression that the room was a little old-fashioned, but none of the facilities felt old. It felt strange to have the sink in the room, but the space other than the bed was spacious and very comfortable. It was good that the toilet and bathroom were separate. However, the toilet was quite small. Personally, I thought that even though the toilet was small, there was an air freshener (fruit scent?) and when I closed the toilet door, the scent of the air freshener was too strong. I used the toilet with the door open. I thought that air fresheners are not necessary. If they are to be placed, I would like them to be smaller and have a gentler scent. The front desk staff were very kind and I was grateful.
