"This place is just 5 minutes away from ishiuchi maruyama ski gondola. Great value place to stay which is easily bookable. Owner provided transfer to and from echigo yuzawa station. Very friendly and even helped to carry the heavy luggage up the car and to our room. No lift access which is very common in smaller places like these. Two private bathhouse available for sharing. Rental price is great and he took great effort in ensuring fit. Also discounted gondola prices available. Breakfast was delicious which was included too. Overall owner and his wife are very warm to all the customers. Would stay here again!"

This is a detached accommodation facility newly built in December 2024. This accommodation is limited to one group. It is located right next to Maiko Ski Resort. We are not currently serving meals. Mini kitchen, induction stove, cooking utensils, tableware, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, electric rice cooker, electric kettle, fully automatic washing machine, gas clothes dryer, TV Internet is available with both wireless LAN (Wifi) and wired LAN. Please refer to the self-check-in instructions.

"The facilities in the hotel are complete, there is a kitchenette, laundry, dryer, and massage chair, very comfortable, not far from the pick-up station, about 5 minutes walk, there is a small night grocery store next to the connection station, you can buy snacks first."

"Although the hotel is a bit old, the room is renovated, bright and clean, and the area is large. The hot spring is comfortable. The hotel is next to the ski slopes. It is very convenient to ski in winter. The breakfast and dinner are buffets. I did not patronize, but there is a restaurant nearby. I am not afraid of nothing to eat."

"The hotel has little in the way of food unless you purchase the meal plan. The closest restaurant was a 30min walk. Given the weather, I made do with a curry rice cup from the small store on site. My room was on the second floor. The room was clean, but the hallway was not. The carpet was torn and worn. It really needs some attention. The staff was nice and helpful."

"The grandfather at the front desk was very kind and friendly, although the language was not available, but it was very helpful. The dinner is also delicious, the environment is clean and hygienic, and it feels like a traditional Japanese hotel. The only downside is that there is only a public bathhouse, and the bathhouse has private time, which may take a long time if you want to take a bath during this time. My girlfriend likes 🥰"

"It's close to the station, so it's convenient for transportation. It's a shame there isn't a large public bath. There's a convenience store and restaurants nearby, so it's not a problem. It feels like an APA Hotel with a strong business hotel feel."

"A 120-year-old shop with 150-year-old bonsai-like old trees in the backyard~ The condition of the house can be imagined. The floor will creak and creak. If you sleep lightly, you should go to a big hotel, but if you die of sleep, maybe I won’t mind ´∀`, but the degree of satisfaction varies from person to person and will not be influenced by the accommodation~ The toilet is clean and tidy with an electric toilet lid, which should be newly renovated. The toilets and bathrooms are shared. The boss is very nice and talkative. Behind the house is Lake Kamo. He also took us to feed the seagulls and swans. Those who need a car will drive them to the car rental office. It's a 7 or 8 minute walk from Ryotsu Port. It's easy to find. In a tatami room, there are two-layer mattresses for sleeping. Sometimes the quilt will be delivered later to help the guests make the bed. If the room is large, it may be put in advance."

GGuest UserThe lady at the counter was so accommodating. Provided everything we needed and was happy to help in any other way. Spoke a little English but used google translate to help. We couldn't use the dining room for dinner, I think that had to be booked in advance. There was only one or two other places open in town at 7.30pm for dinner. So wasn't many options. The room had stains all over the floor, but otherwise the beds were clean, and comfortable being on the harder springy side, and the bathroom was very clean. The onsen was amazing. The room was a good size, and had extra toilets down the hall if we needed them. The Japanese breakfast that was provided was fantastic. We only stayed one night because we were walking the next day just near there otherwise would have stayed in a bigger town, because of the limited outside facilities. But for the price and it was convenient it was good. Would stay again if I had to, but otherwise would go for a bit nicer place.

AAlvinI came here during summer for Fuji Rock. In all honesty, it’s alright, the room is clean & the beds were comfortable, aircon works. Don’t expect much from the room, as there’s only 1 power socket in the room, so we had to share. It’s really just for sleeping. The shower is an open bathroom common in Japan & shared toilet situation, so just take note for travellers who aren’t comfortable for that kind of thing. But the good thing is that the shower area was clean, water is hot & great. Towels are provided although it’s a really small and thin one. There’s a free large area for parking near the place so that’s good. I’d think it would be great for winter as it’s right next to the gondola, but we didn’t experience that.

GGuest UserI chose it with rice and source hanging water in Uonuma. Anyway, the hot water was good. The hot springs that you can enter while cooling in the open air are exceptional. My skin became chewy and I was happy with the smoothness. The building is old but the interior is clean and I like it with fashionable furniture. I also like the service between reasonable distances. The rice for dinner was as good as expected and delicious. However, the set meal was fried meat and fish and fried fish oyster set meal, but it was heavy for me. But all the side dishes were delicious with 4! I thought that there was an attractive okazu in the single item, and if there was a set of rice miso soup side dishes, I could assemble my favorite dinner with a single item 〜. It was a nice inn where you can see the rice fields after harvesting and the autumn mountains 々. The heron was taking a rest on the roof.
