The location is right in the city centre. The capsule is very nice, provide better privacy and security. Toilet and bathroom are integrated, with shampoo provided. Hair dryer, water dispenser, fridge are available. Lockers are available, but the lock don't work. Consequently, all are occupied by other guests who checked in earlier. The management need to control and carry out inspection. Moreover the AC in the common hall is faulty. Please improve on these two areas. The rest are good!

Overall, it is good value for money. It is less than 10 meters away from my dive shop (cooldivive). The public bathroom is clean and not crowded. There is a place to dry clothes. The room does not have air conditioning but it is not hot. The sound insulation is indeed poor, but the neighbors are civilized. It is a good choice for those who have not booked a dormitory for diving students.

Honest review as recent guest of Promenade service apartment, it's highly recommended! The place was clean and tidy, easy to locate, conveniently close to the city, restaurant and variety of convenient shop. Not to mention their excellent customer service by the receptionist. There was a guy in dark coloured coat (i believe he was the superior) and a receptionist upon checking in, and upon checking out, the female customer service (who i believe are also a superior) attended us. They were very helpful, warm and friendly while delivering service. We are very thankful and satisfied with the service given by the property. Overall, it was a wonderful experience staying there. Thank you so much! Deeply appreciated 🙏👍 P/S : Sorry, the pic have nothing to do with the apartment🙏

Conveniently located for transport. While the room was small, it was reasonably clean, and there are plenty of dining options nearby.

The only reason I stayed here was because of it location near to the airport. Everything else is good in terms of experience except I was imposed with liability costing RM10 for soiling one piece of their towel. The soiling happened because I walked outside after the rain and my foot got into a mud spot. I came back to my room and I accidentally stepped on the towel. Bear in mind, I had to book their largest room meant for 4 pax because that was the only one available even though I stayed alone. Considering the occupancy is low for that large room, soiling one piece of towel does not justify a RM10 liability damage.

The facilities are old, but it's OK for a short stay. There are a lot of birds outside, so be careful of bird droppings. You can't eat in the room, but you have to eat in the lounge, which requires a deposit of MRY100.

Great location! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom was nice and clean. The only downside was that housekeeping didn’t replace the toiletries or towels on the second day. Still, it’s a lovely place to stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

Hotel was average. Location is good. However, check in and check out times are not feasible. I made a request to early check in, but hotel management didnt even respond to my request. I even tried through Trip.com customer cair, they also told hotel is not responding.

GGuest User*Honest Review: Comfortable Stay but Disappointing Service Transparency* Me and a group of colleagues chose Wendu Inn during our recent work trip to Kota Belud, and I’d like to share an honest review—not just a general star rating—because the experience was a mix of excellent and disappointing aspects. Pros: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 • The check-in process was smooth and efficient. • Cleanliness and room comfort are top-notch—definitely 5-star worthy, especially for a small town like Kota Belud. • The view from the café and the convenience of having a minimart downstairs were truly added bonuses. • We genuinely appreciated the effort put into making the place cozy and welcoming. But here comes the downside: We booked our rooms with breakfast included, which is supposed to be served at their café. However, this was where things went wrong. 1️⃣ When we went for breakfast, there was no proper display or explanation about the free breakfast options. What was openly displayed was a menu with both breakfast (no prices shown) and lunch items (with prices). The actual complimentary breakfast choices were hidden away in a folder behind the counter—not visible to guests. Naturally, thinking the displayed breakfast options were part of our package, we made our choices and presented our coupons at the counter. The staff accepted the coupons without saying a word. Only after finishing our meals were we surprised with a bill, leaving us feeling misled and frustrated. 2️⃣ The counter staff’s customer service was below expectations. When we requested an official receipt for work claims, we were repeatedly told to refer to the booking website. Even after explaining that we needed an original stamped receipt, the answer was simply: “We don’t have an original stamp.” For a hotel catering to business travelers, this lack of basic documentation support is quite inconvenient. Final thoughts: Would I recommend Wendu Inn? Yes—for comfort, cleanliness, and its peaceful surroundings. But be prepared to double-check details around your package (especially meals), and don’t expect much assistance from the front desk when it comes to paperwork or clarifications.

GGero SGH Benjamin is located in a quieter area, up a steep slope and away from the city's hustle and bustle. It's a beautiful area to wake up to the mountains and would be a wonderful spot if it makes a few improvements to the space and amenities. 1) The spring bed is terribly firm, you can also feel the springs through the bed. The clothes rack was also almost going to fall apart. 2) The ventilator was not working so the moisture of the toilet came into the room instead, making it very moist. 3) The water kettle we were provided almost caught fire as smoke was coming out of the plug. Thankfully we caught it in time. When we reported this to the reception and asked if they want to get someone to check, we only got an ”Ok”. Perhaps it's a language barrier but it wasn't reassuring that the next traveller would be safe. 4) It would be nice to provide at least one chair in the room. It'll also be nice to have a seating area outside of the container cabin so people can enjoy the view of the mountains.

LLiudoufuSanitary: The room is very clean, Service: The service attitude is good, you can send meals to the room, and you can pick up and drop off for the visitor center for free. Facilities: complete facilities and large rooms. Environment: Not far from the visitor center, about ten minutes by car, 2.6 kilometers walking, free pick -up and delivery is very intimate. It is very convenient to connect to WeChat. It is recommended to check in. The only disadvantage is that there is a mosque in the back, praying on time at 5:00 every day. This is Muslim custom, praying five times a day

FFeel the WorldA great stay at Sepilok. Good location to visit the orangutan, Sunbear and the discovery centre. They are all walking distance but can also arrange transportation via reception. Also good distance travel to Labuk. Nicely built with great staff. Love the service and they really make us like home. Very accommodative and giving good advice on our travel. Food is good and my son loves their special fried rice. The pool is good to cool off after a hot day. Room is clean and lovely. Also can organise its tour to Kinabatagan River.

GGuest UserOverall, everything was okay, but there was one significant issue: no iron was provided in the room. We had to go all the way down to the first floor to iron our clothes and headscarves. This was particularly inconvenient as we were on the second floor with no elevator, making it quite a hassle to constantly go up and down just to iron. They really should provide irons on every floor. It's tough for guests to keep doing that, especially for those with young children. I understand it's a budget hotel, but even other budget accommodations I've stayed at manage to provide irons on each floor. I sincerely hope they can improve this.

PPoole92It was located well next to the Orangutan sanctuary. Had a nice pool, with a scenic walk to get there. The breakfast was really nice, and changed slightly each day. Rooms were cleaned daily. Our room didn't have AC, and the WiFi didn't. No free water is provided, and it's overpriced to buy. There is a very small shop that sells it cheaper close to the resort.

GGuest UserWe stayed couple of nights before driving back to KK. The place is located in the center with easy access to everything however it also means it can be quite loud at night from the traffic and karaoke next door. The room had little fridge, kettle, bottles of water and coffee mix (3 in 1). Room was on the 3rd floor with no lift. This could be a problem for somebody with mobility issue.
