Only stayed one night and there was a large group there.
This large group took over the whole place.
In the TV area where the lounge was filled with loud adults and kids.
We headed to our room about 8:30 that evening after going out to have a quieter time.
The kids were knocking on the door as they were running up and down the hall way, yes, the parents didn't stop them.
I thought surely this will calm down by 12 midnight.
Well I was wrong, this when on until 3:09AM in the hallway people running talking while going up and down the hallway. Then the groups out side in front of the hotel talking loud..
It was so loud you thought it was in the room. We left the TV on to see if that helped, it didn't.
The front desk should have done something to stop this behavior.
I was a paying guest also.
Very disappointed.
I told the young guy who checked me out and he said they had had trouble with them all week.
So I had to pay $ 200.00 to stay there and not sleep. The front desk should have stopped the group from disturbing the other guest.
I was very upset and very tried there next morning.
I all I got was I am sorry, they are leaving today.
This location is conveniently located right off the interstate. The room is about what you would expect for a budget hotel except it is in need of serious upgrades. There was a huge hole in the wall of our room and numerous things needed to be fixed and repaired (cosmetic). The bed was clean and comfortable except for the pillows which were too bulky to sleep on. I used a towel for a pillow. Also there was a very loud vehicle running outside (sounded like a generator) until midnight. Not that this is the hotel’s fault but just shows the type of clientele. There weren’t very many vehicles there when we stayed. There are 3 other hotels in the same area (Wyngate, Comfort Inn, and one other that I can’t remember.)
Because my friend lived on a holiday, I set up two days at Hilton and transferred to a holiday. The son was enrolled in the first year, and the school packaged the hotel as a dormitory. Because there was no kitchen, he suffered a lot in the first year of the epidemic.
The double room was large, but the breakfast was worse than Hilton.

JJamesEvery year I go to Richmond to stay at this hotel, the room is large and the bed is super big. Very comfortable. The hotel has a buffet breakfast, which is not a variety of instructions, but it is still possible.
GGuest UserIn pics and in person the modern fresh room style is appealing though the functionality is sub-par. An example: one night table was a solid piece, no drawer or shelf with the top diameter much smaller than my laptop. Typically, a phone (use as an alarm), a bottle of water and an iPad , e-reader or book/magazine would be on a nightstand. Whoops, no room for all that and the slick surface made me nervous to leave my iPad on it. The open closet is fine, especially for me as I don't hang or put clothes in a drawer, but the only space available that wasn't in the bathroom is directly below where one would hang their clothes and right above the fridge. This could make it a perfect spot for a soft sided cooler, but this relatively small space (didn't measure, maybe 14”x20” with Keurig-style coffee maker already on it) is where one might set snacks, extra sodas, the cereal one brings because they like to eat the same thing every day and need a spot to set their cereal bowl while grabbing milk out of fridge right below. Not sure about you, but I'm not terribly comfortable putting food & dishes in the bathroom. Unfortunately, that is where my coffee maker needed to go (if I'm remembering correctly) the outlets where not accessible so Mr. Nespresso did need to go in the bathroom.
Bathroom shower had some mold around the caulk area, otherwise serviceable. Not a horrible room overall, but not as nice as other similarly priced nearby chains so I'll stick to those.
GGuest UserNot bad, there are supermarkets nearby and many restaurants where you can simply eat. A little farther, taxis are required to enter and leave the city.
GGuest UserSuper friendly staff. Adjacent restaurant/bar for delicious dinner and nutritious breakfast. Grounds were beautiful and pool was clean. Couldn’t ask for anything more. 5 big stars.
BBE ABROADABLE - Nat the ExpatBE AWARE: they told me at checkout yesterday that I’d get my $50 deposit back by the evening. Then they said in 3 days. Now they’re saying in 5 days. Still showing that I was charged on my credit card app… So we’ll see if I get that back!
About our stay: If you’re brave and on a budget, you’ll be fine here. But if you’re big on cleanliness and safety then skip this location.
Random crap on the carpet. Shower handles leak all over the floor, and there’s rust all over the ceiling and stuff shoved into gaps to prevent leaks.
The door isn’t secure at all, and the latch chain could just be ripped off if someone pushed hard on the door.
Blood stains (or at least what appeared to be) on the curtain, which also had a massive rip in it.
PROS: no bedbugs and we definitely felt safe there. If in a pinch, we’d stay again because it was cheap (IF I GET MY DEPOSIT BACK, that is. Otherwise it’s not cheap) People at the hotel were friendly, I just hope they’re not lying about giving my deposit back 😂
Breakfast was cereals, breads, gravy, eggs and sausage, and a waffle maker. Nothing seemed fresh, we didn’t really eat much.
Again, if you want cheap, it’s safe enough and does the job. If you want a refreshing stay, look elsewhere.

GGuest UserOlder Motel 6 located right where I needed to be. Management doing their best to offer a clean, safe, comfortable overnight stay. This was a budget price and I did not expect any luxury. Room was neat and clean, laminate wood floors throughout including bathroom. Fixtures modern and clean, had excellent hot water and although the volume reduced when other rooms came on the temperature stayed hot. Platform beds pretty spartan but easier to keep clean and I saw no signs of bedbugs. This place filled up slam full on Saturday night with not an open room. Parking lot full with camera coverage, people I met staying were friendly and courteous - EVERYONE wants a safe clean place to stay. Free WiFi and lobby coffee pot in the morning. I expect due to my bargain rate hunt with Trip I was assigned a second story room smack in the middle between stairs - had to carry all my motorcycle luggage the furthest possible distance to my room. I bet if I paid a few dollars more I might have earned a ground floor, but I am cheap LOL. Management trying their best, and would gladly stay again! Room 206
GGuest UserFantastic location! If you're looking for a central location from which you can explore Lynchburg, then this is your place. I couldn't believe how close everything was from this location. You have Kroger, Cookout, Liberty University, the River Ridge Mall, Walmart, Target, and a whole host of locations all within a 5 minute drive of the location. Additionally, the hotel is right next to the access to 501 heading to Forest or Downtown Lynchburg. Breakfast was also provided (scrambled eggs, waffles, sausages, bagels, muffins, toast, cereal, and milk). But the best feature of the facility was the friendliness, consideration, and helpfulness of the staff. Steve in particular was very knowledgeable about the area and gave helpful suggestions about where I could find groceries pertaining to my limited diet. He would later follow up with me which I found most considerate. Other staff where either quick to say hello, or respond to questions or offer assistance when needed. Because of the location and the staff, I can't recommend this place enough.
