Very good location and creative use of pods. You have total privacy inside the room, and people are respectful so it is quite. The bathroom is clean and have a hairdryer. The bus stop #6 is 5 mins away and the airport shuttle and tours can pick you up from there.

Hotel Muli provides a clean, modern, and welcoming stay that stands out for its exceptional service and quality amenities. Based on a two-night stay, this hotel is a superb option for travelers prioritizing comfort and value slightly outside the immediate city center. Highlights & Service The staff's attention to detail was a defining feature. Following an advance notification, the hotel upgraded our room and decorated it with ”Happy Birthday” balloons and a complimentary bottle of non-alcoholic fizz—an incredibly generous and much-appreciated gesture that demonstrated top-tier customer care. Comfort and Amenities The rooms are consistently clean and modern. A practical benefit is the availability of free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the reception area, which is perfect for warming up after a day of exploring Iceland. Food Experience The breakfast is superb. It offers high-quality ingredients, great variety, and is clearly set up to cater to all dietary needs, complemented by genuinely great coffee. Location and Verdict The location is ideal—it’s friendly staff are helpful, and it’s not too far to walk to the main town area, balancing accessibility with a slightly quieter setting. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Even saw whales in the bay, amazing!

Lovely clean and spacious room. Nice little kitchen area with microwave to heat food. Buffet breakfast was OK. Personally not to my taste, but that is only my opinion. The 16 year old with us loved the waffles with the choice of toppings! The porridge which I do enjoy was good day 1 but very watery day 2. Choice of bread that could be toasted, margarine (Sorry I am a butter fan!), preserves, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, tomatoes etc. Free coffee wasn't great - again I'm a coffee snob and like a good cup of filter coffee. I did notice there was coffee to buy. The room was great and the staff very helpful. We were able to park right outside our room. Good location for Reykjavik by car, Thingvellir National Park etc. We travelled from here to both and also to Snaefellsnes Peninsula, which was worth the drive. Also we visited Rekyholt, Barnafoss and Hraunfossar waterfalls, Deildartunguhver Thermal Spring - try the tomato soup!

friendly staff, the sauna and hot tub were clean and nice。。。。our room was perfect, but if you are picky with drinking water, bring your own to the room。the water from the tab is drinkable, but has a lot of sulfur in it and smells this way。 the breakfast was very good, different coffee, waffles, bread, porridge, fruits,。。。。

We were really happy with our stay at this hotel. The room size and the beds comfortable. The location was quiet and was perfect for us to walk around the main areas. Location was also great for the buses. Breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is really good, with a bus stop nearby. Accommodations in Iceland are generally quite small, but thankfully, this one was clean and tidy. It's also quite close to attractions in Reykjavik. You can store your luggage, the front desk service was polite, and breakfast was Western style.

All good. Service level excellent.  Perhaps just need to have more amenities like vanity kit, essential items like bathroom slippers in the room rather than we request for it at the front desk.  Otherwise all good.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk to the pier and the clerk is kind. Although there is no parking lot, the hotel has a paid parking space. There is a free parking space for ten minutes on foot, but you have to check with the clerk. Breakfast is simple, the location is not much, but just right, no need to wait. Children in the same bed, no extra charge.

We had no issues here. Our room was comfortable. It even had a deep tub to soak in. They had a nice dessert plate and card on our arrival for our anniversary. The front desk was polite and the building was nice. It was located within walking distance of some places we wanted to visit like the whale boat tours and some museums and a couple of restaurants. There was some construction next door but we were active during the day when they worked so it didn’t bother us. Parking was a minor inconvenience as there was no real free parking available. We just downloaded a parking app and paid on our phone as needed. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to other travelers.

GGuest UserThe accommodation's hygiene and location were decent. BUT!!! A very dangerous incident occurred today when I was checking out. I want to alert every guest staying here. I needed to check out at 3:30 AM to catch a car to the airport. But I discovered the elevator was broken! The staff said the elevator was out of order and I needed to use the stairs. So, I immediately turned around to take the stairs, as there was an emergency exit right next to the elevator. I pushed the door open and carried my 28-inch luggage downstairs. It was an outdoor staircase, and I thought it would lead straight to the ground floor. However, when I reached the second floor, I found there were no more stairs down? Every door was locked, and I was trapped outside! This was in freezing Iceland!!! I then frantically knocked on a transparent glass window, calling for help. No staff member noticed me until the elderly lady next door was woken up by my knocking. I felt incredibly sorry for her, but I really needed to catch my flight. I was trapped outside for at least 10 minutes. So I looked for another staircase. When I got to the first floor, I found I still couldn't get out. I knocked again, and finally, a staff member noticed me and said I hadn't reached the right exit yet. I was so frustrated… I understand that elevator maintenance can happen, but why wasn't I informed a day in advance? If advance notice isn't possible, why weren't there clear instructions on which staircase to use? If the outdoor staircase doesn't lead to an exit, why isn't it closed or inaccessible at night? If I had missed my flight, or if I had been stuck on that outdoor staircase until morning, who would be responsible for my safety?

GGuest UserI visited in the summer, but I noticed a very large set of radiators on the wall that weren't turned on, suggesting it would be warm enough in winter. The hotel is very clean, and the decor is really nice. Having traveled to several European countries, I found the hotel's price to be very reasonable, and the room quality was excellent.

KKEVINLEEWhile not in the absolute city center, the hotel's facilities, breakfast, and service are all excellent. Getting around is easy: there are several bus routes directly across the street that go downtown. For airport transfers, the Flybus service connects to a shuttle that drops you off right at the hotel. Good day tours and island excursions also provide convenient pick-up and drop-off from the lobby. A majority of the guests are American, and the restaurant primarily offers Western dishes.

ZZac Zhang**Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommend!** From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, close to everything making it easy to explore the area. The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of fresh and delicious options each morning. What stood out the most was the attention to detail and the genuine care from the staff. It truly felt like a home away from home. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay!

GGuest UserLocation was right in the centre of town, in front of a popular taxi stand where many party-goers gather before heading home, so it gets REALLY noisy on friday/saturday nights. I usually fall asleep easily but the noise was keeping me up. Bring earplugs if you intend to stay here. Otherwise the location was really accessible, walking distance to bus stop 1 where the flybus from the airport would drop off, and many tours pick you up from there as well. Sunday night was actually pretty peaceful so maybe just stay there on sundays-thursdays. Room was also decent and clean. A bit small for longer stays but good for a couple of nights.

ZZaynetzyTo my surprise, the time to access the locker is only from 9am onwards!!! (only when the staff is at the reception). My plan was to put my luggage into the locker and I have to catch a morning bus at 7am the next day!! Next time please design the lockers in a way such that it is accessible 24/7 😅😅 Anyways, I still figured out a way - which is to walk to the bus terminal to leave my luggage at the lockers. Attaching a photo of the daylight at 12am 😊

GGuest UserAdvantages: The hotel is located on a street surrounded by shops and restaurants, making it very convenient for transportation and daily needs. It is also quite close to attractions such as Rainbow Street and the Hallgrímskirkja. The room is spacious and can easily accommodate three large suitcases. Disadvantages: The room lighting is relatively dim, and the soundproofing is poor. We were assigned a room on the 3rd floor. Since there was no air conditioning, we had to open the windows for ventilation. However, due to the poor soundproofing, conversations from people on the street could be clearly heard. Additionally, when someone in nearby rooms opened and closed their doors while going out or returning to their rooms, the walls would vibrate noticeably.

GGuest User⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay at Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel I recently stayed at the Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel and had an amazing experience. The room was incredibly spacious and gave off a beautiful Scandinavian, Ikea-showroom vibe that made it feel both stylish and comfortable. Housekeeping was top-notch—they kept everything spotless and even left the tip I placed untouched, which really showed their professionalism. A special mention goes to the Filipino receptionist, who was always smiling, warm, and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. The hotel’s location is also unbeatable—right in the heart of the town centre, making it easy to explore Reykjavik on foot. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely choose this hotel again if I return to Iceland in the future. Highly recommended!
