Booked this for an early flight out. We were rather surprised with how lux the hotel look and feel. Was warmly welcomed by the staff there and helping with the luggage. Reception staff(sorry didn't get his name) was very friendly and offered a free room upgrade, he patiently explained in detail about the shuttle service to airport and even help to suggest what time i should be down to the lobby accordingly to my flight time. I'm really very pleased with the service. Room was excellent and facing the airport. Upgraded room had a long sofa by the window which comfortably cater to our need of resting in our own space. If the only thing i was pleased about, it would be the pillow. Was expecting a memory pillow instead of the normal pillow for better sleep. Hence i didn't really rest well. But this is all just personal. Supper was also provided and i had this cute bowl of wanton on this cold night. The kitchen staffs are equally friendly! Keep up the good customer service!

The front desk staff were very responsive to guests' needs, and the concierge staff were also incredibly warm and friendly, always greeting us enthusiastically even when we returned late at night! The location is excellent, right outside a subway station. You can easily bike to the Forbidden City and Beihai Park. This is definitely my top choice for a hotel in Beijing.

Location of the hotel is great and it’s connected to a mall. There are some halal eateries nearby(walking distance), but of course nothing food delivery (*******) cannot handle if you need a quick snack in your hotel room. Service here is really good - 战战 our concierge was helpful, and was still communicating with us even after her working hours. The cleaning 阿姨was super friendly and kept offering us more water. The room is clean & is a nice size for our family of 3(2A1C). They provided a humidifier which is great for the dry winter air. The heater cannot be adjusted as it’s central heating, and 27°c was too much for us. So just switch it off and open the window & the room will be nice and cool.

The Kempinski during the Christmas season – from the moment you step into the lobby, you're enveloped in a strong festive atmosphere. The sparkling Christmas tree and warm golden decorations are both inviting and luxurious. The room maintained the brand's usual luxury and comfort, with bedding that ensured a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the service team was warm and attentive. This stay was particularly memorable because of the cozy Christmas decor.

The service was a bit inconsistent, but I have to say, they really delivered on my request for a room with a better view when I booked in advance, which is a big plus. The most bizarre thing, though, is that you have to pick up your own food deliveries; staff can't do it for you, and there are no robots either. As for the facilities, well, they're quite old-fashioned.

The room was spotless, well-equipped, and the bedding was comfortable. From the window, I could see the Forbidden City, Jingshan Park, and the White Dagoba of Beihai Park. I liked the layout of the bathroom, which was convenient to use. The executive lounge offered great views from its windows, and the light meals and drinks were of good quality. The ZAN restaurant provided excellent service and food for breakfast. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and room service was prompt. Occasionally, smoke drifted into the bathroom from other areas, but fortunately, after signing an agreement, we could open the window for ventilation. With the bathroom door closed, the impact on the bedroom was tolerable.

I was in Beijing for a business trip and stayed in Sanlitun. I chose the Intercontinental, and I'm so glad I did! From the moment I checked in, GRO Chloe's warm welcome showed incredible sincerity – proactive greetings, thoughtful service, and attention to detail were all top-notch. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the soundproofing was excellent. The location is also superb, right next to the giant outdoor screen, and super convenient for shopping and getting around. For someone like me with a packed schedule, it was truly fantastic. The staff were always available and responded quickly to any request. I even received a lovely welcome gift from the hotel, which was a really sweet touch. Next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose this place again. I've already recommended it to friends; it's truly worth experiencing!

From the warm smiles at check-in to patiently answering all our questions, the service was top-notch. It's just a 5-minute walk to the subway station. The toiletries all have a lovely floral scent! SSisiluoZhejiang Ningbo welcomed its first autumn holiday, and among numerous destinations, Beijing was our definitive choice – the trip felt like a 'great northern migration of Zhejiang people'! Before departing, flights from Ningbo to Beijing soared to unaffordable prices, and high-speed train tickets sold out instantly. We eventually settled on a plan to transit overnight in Nanjing. Before the trip, I was stuck in a hotel selection dilemma: aiming for an international brand within an 800-yuan budget, but most started at 1200+ yuan, often without breakfast, which was way over budget. Ordinary local brands didn't appeal, and even slightly better-located ones like Atour or Orange Hotel Crystal were 800+ without breakfast, offering rather poor value for money. Luckily, during the 11.11 sale, I snagged a deal for Wanda Realm on Ctrip. I booked two nights to test the waters, and to my surprise, the stay exceeded expectations. The night before, we had stayed at a certain international brand hotel in Nanjing, but the experience was quite disappointing. The lobby was on the fourth floor, and the bellhop left us at the elevator entrance. With two kids and a pile of luggage, no one offered a helping hand. The front desk staff, perhaps because we used a discounted rate, grilled us with questions like we were suspects. In stark contrast, upon arriving at Wanda Realm, a doorman immediately helped us with our luggage to the front desk, handing us over to the lobby concierge – a deaf-mute young man who stood ramrod straight the entire time. He patiently waited for us to check-in, then, with a constant smile, delivered our luggage to the room and neatly arranged it. His sincere and enthusiastic attitude was a stark contrast to the previous night's coldness and instantly touched us. The hotel is indeed a bit old, so the facilities are inevitably dated. As soon as we entered the room, there was a pungent smell of cleaning agents. The housekeeper next door, hearing this, immediately brought several bottles of mineral water and helped open the windows for ventilation. Her warmth melted away all discomfort. However, there was a minor hiccup: returning to the hotel at night, we encountered outdoor construction noise. We called for service to close the window, but the housekeeping lady couldn't manage it and called an engineering staff member. Here's a small suggestion: it would be better if guest rooms provided shoe covers. To reach the window controls, the uncle took off his shoes and stepped on the sofa stool. For families with young children, there's a natural concern about hygiene issues like athlete's foot, especially since kids crawl everywhere. However, overall, the 4-day, 3-night stay slightly exceeded expectations: the front desk, concierge, and reservations department all provided professional service. You can feel the high staff stability and low turnover. This is the service legacy of a seasoned hotel.

GGuest UserStaying in Mandarin Oriental Qianmen was truly amazing. The whole team plan well to implement exceptional customer service and share the beauty of their property. I'd like to particularly mention some of your staffs ”Marcus” who cared so much about us from the beginning to the end, ”Eathen” the butler who was very professional during the room tour. It was our 2-year anniversary trip and they prepared our room very nicely. Next morning, we had a really joyful breakfast time with ”Wujoon Lee” and the chef ”Ping” Each menu of breakfast was top-notch. Every ingredient was very fresh, high quality, and full of authentic flavors(The Olive oil and Balsamic🫶). We loved Chef Ping's delightful energy and spirit! They were so friendly, and we even took a walk together with Wujoon after breakfast. He showed us other restaurants and beautiful ballrooms and shared many interesting stories regarding the property. It was a very pleasant conversation. I'd also like to mention one bell boy staff(sorry, couldn't pick his name up.) who came to pick up our luggage! We needed more time for packing, so he had to wait for another 10 minutes outside and took our luggage. I was supposed to meet him at the lobby because we wanted to take some more last-minute photos of our beautiful room before we leave. It was raining. After another 10-15mins, we went out and were surprised that he was waiting for us in front of our door without telling us. He just said it was raining quite heavily, so he thought it was better we take the buggy to go to the lobby. He didn't tell us because he didn't want to push us at all and make us hurry. He was very thoughtful, and I was very touched. When we reached lobby, many staffs waiting for us to say good bye, and I was told that the hotel car was prepared for my next destination.(Bvlgari hotel) I was surprised because I was supposed to grab the cab. Marcus gently offered me to take the host car for my convenience with this kind of weather. I really don't know what to say, and I felt like the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen treated me like their family. It was definitely beyond my expectations. All the staff have been very helpful, professional, and attentive. During my way to Bvlgari Hotel, I found out that the driver doesn't use the navigation. I asked him, ”Do you know where we are going?” He said he knows all the locations of every 5 stars and higher grade hotels. What a gentle and professional driver! There are always some reasons to come back! For me, the reason to come back to this property is definitely people and the breakfast, lol. The personnel of this property are absolutely the assets! The quality of service delivered by them during my Beijing trip has convinced me that I can always rely on this hotel for the home-away-from-home feeling. See you again!

AAnonymous UserThe Beijing Financial Street Apartment's greatest asset is its prime location. Situated in the heart of Financial Street, it offers unparalleled convenience for both business and daily commuting, saving guests the hassle of a long journey. This makes it particularly ideal for those who travel frequently. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean and meticulously maintained, ensuring a comfortable and worry-free stay. The surrounding area is also very pleasant, providing a tranquil oasis amidst the bustling financial district. Guests can enjoy both the convenience of Financial Street and a comfortable living environment. What truly sets this place apart is the thoughtful and attentive service. The staff are prompt in responding to requests and very friendly. From check-in guidance to everyday inquiries, they are patient and meticulous, significantly enhancing the overall living experience. Overall, this apartment perfectly balances convenience, comfort, and excellent service. It's an outstanding choice in the Financial Street area, whether for short business trips or temporary stays.

MM303531****This hotel is great for a weekend getaway with kids. Juyongguan Great Wall and Shuiguan Great Wall are nearby, with Shuiguan Great Wall being closer and less crowded, though a bit challenging to climb. The hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a pleasant environment with individual villas dotted up the hillside. Our room was quite far, so we needed to drive to the lobby and restaurant. The hotel also offers many family-friendly activities. On our second morning, we participated in a valley hike, which was essentially a mountain climb – it requires some stamina. There were also quite a few downsides. Given how spread out the rooms are and how far they are from the lobby, one would expect butler service, but there was none. Moreover, it was very difficult to get through to the front desk from the room phone. For a self-proclaimed 'family-friendly hotel,' there weren't even children's slippers in the room. After finally getting through on the phone, it took an hour for them to be delivered. Why weren't they provided directly at check-in when they saw we had a child? The room itself was fairly large, but the bathroom lacked air conditioning/heating, and the shower was open-concept. This design might be fine in Sanya, but in Yanqing, showering at night was absolutely freezing. There was also water pooling, and when staff came to check, they said it was because the floor drain was too high, and nothing could be done, which was a bit frustrating. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was good, albeit a bit pricey. We also ate at a farmhouse restaurant down the mountain where the iron pot stewed fish was delicious – I forgot its name, but it had “Tell Old Mo I want to eat fish” written on the wall. Despite the downsides, it's still a good place for a weekend with kids. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a children's splash pool, which were closed due to the cold weather. We'll definitely bring the kids back in the summer.
