"The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's just a few minutes' walk to the National Art Museum subway station (Line 8). Lao She's Former Residence and Wangfujing are both within a ten-minute walk. We even walked to the Forbidden City – it was quicker than taking a taxi or the subway! Even though it was hot, the breeze made it much more bearable than I expected. The staff were all very friendly, the cleanliness was good, and the facilities were decent, though the mattress was a bit too high. The pool isn't huge, but it's sufficient. Breakfast was just okay. My only real complaint was the mini wontons at breakfast. Other hotels cook them fresh, but here they seemed to be pre-cooked and then reheated, which made them a bit mushy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd probably stay here again."

"I had the chance to experience this 'classic' renowned hotel, and I found it quite good. Although it's a bit old and some of the facilities are dated, especially in the apartment rooms, the cleanliness is commendable and the service is excellent. The apartment rooms, despite their traditional decor and older equipment, are spacious and well-suited for families. The standard rooms have been renovated with a more modern style and contemporary amenities. While smaller, they are very comfortable to stay in. I specifically requested a high floor for a better view! I also sampled the food at 'Changan One' and 'Tea Source,' ordered a birthday cake from 'Su Yuan,' and tried the breakfast buffet. All were very satisfying. The Kung Pao Chicken at Changan One was particularly unique, and the fried chicken wings at Tea Source were similar to spicy fried chicken. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly prepared dishes were great. I was especially pleased with the gym and particularly the swimming pool. I went for a swim in the morning when it was less crowded. The pool is very large, making for a pleasant swim, and there's also a massage pool, dry sauna, and wet sauna, perfect for relaxation. I'd definitely bring my family back for a weekend getaway if I get the chance."

"Five-star review! I stayed at the Sofitel Beijing Central for four consecutive days, and my overall experience was extremely satisfying. The location is excellent, close to Jianguomen subway station, making it very convenient to get to Wangfujing, Tiananmen Square, and the National Museum. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good, so I rested very well. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and their service was prompt and responsive; communication was smooth whenever I had a request. The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, and the facilities are well-maintained. Traveling with children, staying here made getting around and sightseeing worry-free and convenient. It's a great choice for exploring urban Beijing, especially since the young lady at the Chance hotel front desk upgraded our room for free and gave us a breakfast voucher for one adult and two children for one day, considering our late arrival. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Beijing – it truly exceeded my expectations!"

From the moment I arrived, Manager Khalid Mohammad set the tone for a flawless experience. He personally ensured a seamless check-in and, most importantly, took the time to walk me through the hotel's excellent halal breakfast options. Knowing that I could start each day with delicious, properly certified halal food made such a difference. He also reassured me about the hotel's Muslim-friendly amenities, including prayer direction indicators and a quiet, comfortable space for prayers. The concierge team, Lukas and Elio, were equally outstanding. They went out of their way to assist with my luggage and provided spot-on recommendations for nearby halal restaurants outside the hotel. Their friendly, attentive service made exploring Beijing completely stress-free. The hotel itself is perfectly located in the heart of Wangfujing, just minutes from the subway and major landmarks. "The hotel is very close to Capital Airport. There's a shuttle bus every 20 minutes to Terminal 3, which takes about 5 minutes, making it super convenient for flights. You can see planes taking off and landing, and there's a bit of noise when they're taking off or landing in the direction of the hotel. Facilities: A bit old, especially the carpet. Hygiene: Good. Environment: Good. Service: Good."

"I started staying at the Four Seasons about seven or eight years ago, purely by chance. Since then, whenever I go to Beijing, unless I'm specifically looking to try a different hotel, I usually choose the Four Seasons. The lotus flowers along the Liangma River are in bloom and look beautiful. I appreciate the upgrade; the room was so comfortable that even if I paid a bit more, it still felt like a great deal. The breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, but all the Four Seasons restaurants are generally excellent. I'll probably choose the Four Seasons again the next time I'm in Beijing."

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A wonderful hotel that I'd love to return to! My son and I stayed here, and our experience exceeded all expectations. For my son's birthday, the hotel staff gave us a free upgrade to a themed kids' room. My son was absolutely thrilled—it was one of the highlights of our trip to Beijing. A huge thank you to the management and staff for such attentiveness to guests! I especially want to commend the hotel staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, and always ready to help. The concierges repeatedly assisted us with calling taxis and answered all our questions, which made traveling around the city very easy. The room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and cozy. The hotel has a pleasant aroma, and the classic interior creates an atmosphere of tranquility and comfort. Breakfasts were also a pleasant surprise: a wide selection of dishes, including European items, so everyone can find something to their taste. We were very pleased with our choice. Many thanks to the entire team at Grand Concordia Hotel for the warm welcome, care, and wonderful memories of our first trip to Beijing!

My flight was delayed until the early hours, forcing me to rebook for the next day. I chose Cordis because it was close by and offered a shuttle service. As a brand under Langham, I know the price and brand positioning are what they are, so I shouldn't expect too much. However, the front desk agent didn't say a single word during the entire check-in process. After handing me the room key card, they didn't even mention the floor, and I had to ask myself (since the room number was four digits, it was hard to guess the floor). I also had to proactively ask about the shuttle departure times, and they didn't inquire about breakfast needs. The whole time, I felt like I was checking in with a machine. The soundproofing was mediocre; I was woken up early in the morning by thumping noises in the hallway outside my door. Strangely, though, I barely heard any airplane noise. Furthermore, I don't understand the room's layout. There's an enormous wardrobe door with a mirror next to the bed, and directly opposite the bed is another mirror covering half a wall. The bed is surrounded by mirrors. Even putting feng shui aside, anyone waking up in the middle of the night would be startled by this. The shuttle driver deserves praise for proactively helping with luggage.

Facilities: The room is spacious and well-equipped. The Panasonic high-speed hairdryer is better than the Dyson one without a pool. The air conditioner in room 1012 makes a sudden 'dong dong dong' noise after starting; it would be good to investigate the cause. Hygiene: Very satisfied. I love their body lotion. I left a message, and they sent two extra bottles the next day. Environment: It's very close to Universal Studios, just a short taxi ride away. There's a mall nearby which is great for browsing, and you can access it directly from the 3rd floor without having to go outside in the sun. Service: I mentioned it was our honeymoon, so they gave us a room on the 10th floor directly facing Universal Studios, sent us desserts, and the towels in the room were folded into swans. They found my comb while tidying the room and immediately called me. I'm very grateful! Universal Beijing Resort Shuttle Service: Didn't use it, but there are three time slots available for a free shuttle. You just need to book in advance with the front desk. Welcome Fruit: Plums, a bit sour, haha. The pool isn't big, but I had a quick swim, and the view is excellent. Overall, it's a hotel I would definitely consider revisiting.

Huge thanks to Luca for all the care and attention throughout my stay. This is by far the hotel where I've received the most care, support, and quick problem-solving. The human touch here is absolutely amazing! The resort grounds are beautiful, perfect for families with kids, and also great for golf enthusiasts. I wouldn't recommend the food though; the restaurants are expensive and the taste is inconsistent. There are plenty of activities, and the nightly theater show is a must-see!

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to Wangfujing Pedestrian Street, surrounded by luxury shops, making it very convenient to get around. The Mandarin Oriental's attention to detail is superb. The understated luxury and 'old money' vibe are precisely my style. The vanity room is spacious, and they prepared welcome fruits and snacks, a bottle of red wine, and even pear soup, along with a beautifully written welcome letter. It truly made me feel right at home. Breakfast is a mix of buffet and à la carte, with fresh, organic ingredients and amazing flavors. I even had breakfast alongside the Russian ambassador at the next table! Sipping a coffee with a Forbidden City latte art design on the large terrace overlooking the Forbidden City, I truly experienced a taste of royal life. So happy! 😃
