This is my third consecutive year staying at the Hyatt for the Lanzhou Marathon, having participated in 2024 and 2025. The Hyatt rooms are quiet and clean, with amazing views from the window. The entire hotel environment is grand and well-appointed, with complete facilities. The Waterwheel Museum is right across the street, and I love running along the museum to Zhongshan Bridge for a photo op. This time, I initially booked a room for the 22nd-24th, but then I arrived early and booked an additional night from the 21st-22nd. Also, fearing I'd be too tired after the marathon on the 24th, I extended my stay for another night, from the 24th-25th. The Hyatt is my absolute go-to hotel when I visit Lanzhou. What's especially commendable is that even though my current booking didn't include breakfast, the hotel promptly arranged complimentary breakfast for all my days after I mentioned it. That's fantastic! 👍🏻 I'll be bringing my family to Gansu in mid-next month, and we'll definitely be stopping over and staying at the Hyatt again in Lanzhou!

Huge thanks to the breakfast staff and Ms. Zhao Lina at the front desk! Haha, they responded to our needs instantly, followed up, and even offered suggestions, making us feel incredibly well-cared for! We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we have a layover in Lanzhou!
Lanzhou Airport is a high-altitude airport, and my husband was experiencing some mild altitude sickness – dizzy, no appetite, and a bit nauseous. After breakfast, I asked the restaurant staff if they had any remedies for altitude sickness. They immediately helped me inquire and then directed us to the front desk. Ms. Zhao Lina at the front desk asked about my husband's symptoms and provided some helpful solutions! With the hotel's assistance, my husband felt much better. Finally, we even received a follow-up call at the airport checking if his symptoms had eased – truly, thank you so much!
The hotel is very close to the airport, and the shuttle bus was very comfortable.
All the staff, from the shuttle driver to the front desk and the restaurant, were incredibly friendly.
The only minor downside was that the room felt a bit stuffy.

I think, apart from the little hiccup with the dining, this hotel is highly recommendable in all other aspects. The booking included a hot pot set meal with beef shabu-shabu for dinner, which was probably worth around 300 RMB. The dining staff, however, definitely need to improve their service; they were too arrogant. I hadn't paid close attention to the menu before, specifically the discrepancy between the listed meat dishes and what was actually served. Since the hot pot seemed to have very few meat options, I ordered an 88 RMB plate of lamb dumplings, which was tiny, only 24 pieces? It was then that I thought to check the dishes, and I realized that the food served was inconsistent with what was listed in the order, and they hadn't even informed us (it was called a 'beef shabu-shabu hot pot,' but there was no beef shabu-shabu or yak meat duck feet that were supposed to be in the set meal). There was also no fruit platter and no juice. When we discovered this and asked the server, she said they just provide whatever is available in the restaurant at the time. She then offered to send us a plate of fruit, to which I replied that a fruit platter was included in the set meal. That's when the server dropped a classic line: ”What's listed on the menu isn't necessarily what we have to provide!” I asked, ”Then what's the point of having the set meal contents written in the agreement?” Finally, I asked her if she could take responsibility for what she was saying, and if she needed to consult her manager. Only after a lot of back and forth, and me fighting for my rights, did they finally appease us with a portion of lamb. Honestly, that 88 RMB dumpling dish was a rip-off, and the hot pot set meal being different was also a rip-off. The way they responded when I tried to claim my rights was also terrible. Luckily, I asked her if she could be held accountable for her words, which helped me salvage my legitimate rights. I think, apart from the dining incident, this hotel is highly recommendable in all other aspects.

After half a month of traveling, this is by far the most comfortable place I've stayed. The decor has its own unique style, not like those generic hotels you see everywhere. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the lighting and little trinkets. Plus, all the amenities work perfectly and are super convenient – everything you need is there. The shower has great water pressure, the hairdryer is effective, and the Wi-Fi is incredibly fast. The room was spotlessly clean, spacious, and bright. It's perfect whether you're relaxing in or heading out to explore. For this price, getting all these perks is truly amazing value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next summer.

I absolutely loved this hotel. The location is superb, with direct elevator access to Mingjiahui Fashion Center, which is hands down the best shopping mall in Jiayuguan in terms of ambiance and experience. It's also a short taxi ride to the Jiayuguan Fort scenic area.
The service here was outstanding. A big thank you to the front desk lady who checked us in on the afternoon of April 29th for upgrading our room – I'm just sad I didn't catch her employee number.
The breakfast environment was quiet and elegant, and the buffet offered a wide variety of dishes that weren't greasy. They even made fresh wontons and noodles to order, tailored to your taste. Special thanks to restaurant staff member #39 for her thoughtful service; she customized our dishes to perfection. Even though it was a self-service buffet, she proactively brought freshly prepared food right to our table.
On our second day, heading to Jiayuguan Fort, staff members #20 and #21 helped us arrange for the hotel's MPV business van. The 6-seater van was incredibly comfortable, and the drive was very smooth – a big thanks to the driver as well. When we checked out, they, along with the supervisor, prepared special Jiayuguan souvenirs and some snacks for our upcoming journey, which was going to be a bit hectic.
The room maintenance was impeccable; there were no noticeable issues with our stay experience. After we offered some suggestions for further improvement, the hotel promptly organized a review and provided feedback. My thanks to room attendant #51 for calling to inquire about the details, and also to the supervisor for speaking with us directly and personally looking into our suggestions.
Thank you to all the wonderful ladies for their care, which made our first visit to Jiayuguan a joyful memory and made us feel truly at home. I hope the hotel enjoys thriving business in the future, and I wish all the staff members continued success and well-being.
I have been to many places in the country and stayed in many hotels. This hotel made me dissatisfied in many places. The first is about the breakfast coupon. As a 4th or 5th tier city, I spent nearly 400 yuan to open a large bed room, but only gave me a breakfast coupon. I called to consult, and the explanation was also far-fetched. I had to spend another 58 yuan to buy a breakfast coupon. I had no choice but to spend more than 400 yuan to buy the breakfast coupon in order to have a good rest along the way. The second is to drive to the parking lot. Such a high-end hotel should be considered one of the best hotels in Longnan City. When I arrived at the hotel's ground parking lot, there was no parking space, but no one came to direct the parking of the vehicle. I found that the staff was hiding in the corner squatting on the ground and making their own private phone calls, ignoring the existence of the guests. Third, when registering at the main desk, there were clearly 2 windows for registration, and the 2 staff were crowded together, ignoring the existence of other individual guests. When other registered guests impatiently questioned, the staff slowly asked us to line up at another window to check in, and the work efficiency was also very low. I don’t know if it was caused by unskilled business. Fourth, when we bumped into the housekeeping staff on the floor, no one took the initiative to greet the guests. As a high-star, high-end hotel, the hardware conditions are so good, but the software and management should be improved! Finally, I would like to add that the water in the public area on the ground should be cleaned up in time, otherwise the guests would fall and it would be bad for everyone!

## Review
**Facilities:** The facilities are relatively new and well-maintained. The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms feature a wet/dry separation with a bathtub. The room layout is well-designed, and it's very quiet. The decor on each floor reflects a thoughtful, human-centered approach, making it warm and comfortable. It's a great place to get a good rest after a day of exploring.
**View:** You can see the Yellow River, and the city views are beautiful. Higher floors offer particularly good views.
**Transportation & Shopping:** Wuyue Plaza and Lanzhou Customs Metro Station are right downstairs, making transportation and dining incredibly convenient. There's also an airport shuttle stop right outside.
**Service:** The extra bed price was reasonable, and it came with a full set of amenities like toothbrushes, slippers, and towels, without even needing to ask. The service and reception staff were always helpful and answered all our questions without being overly intrusive. Housekeeping was discreet, ensuring daily cleaning and replenishment of items, and always responded promptly to requests. They also thoughtfully provided fresh fruit daily.
**Front Desk:** I had pre-communicated about a specific booking detail, and the service was spot on. The pricing was clearly and transparently communicated during checkout.
Overall, the service staff are highly professional. There were no hidden fees, and the pricing was transparent and reasonable. They maintained a respectful distance from guests – no prying, idle chatter, or clustering – truly demonstrating their commitment to their work and reflecting the high standard of hotel management.
The facilities and service overall were very thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommend!
This is the second time I have stayed here. The room is very spacious. Although it is an old hotel, I can feel the quality of the decoration and the facilities are complete. The hotel is very large, and the greenery, water system, pavilions and towers are all very beautiful. It is like living in a big park. It is a good choice for travel and leisure. It is very close to Kongtong Mountain Scenic Area, less than ten minutes' drive. We climbed Kongtong Mountain on the first day and brought the elderly with us. It rained on the second day. Just walk around the hotel and go to the swimming pool for free. The elderly had a lot of fun and were not tired. In the afternoon, we enjoyed the scenery, drank tea and chatted on the terrace of the room, and went to the restaurant to eat delicious hand-pulled lamb in the evening. The service staff are very enthusiastic, especially the Xiao Li team in the guest room building No. 5, who made us really feel what it means to feel at home. Thank you very much. I will stay here next time.

I chose this hotel for a last-minute business trip, and it exceeded my expectations – I felt very comfortable staying here. The location is near a commercial area, just a few minutes' walk to the subway. It's convenient for dining and shopping, and not noisy at night. The room isn't huge, but the layout is comfortable, with good lighting and ventilation. Housekeeping is meticulous; the desk, outlets, and even the edges of the wardrobe were clean. The bedding was just the right firmness, very relaxing to lie on. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were naturally friendly without being stiff; check-out was also efficient. The cleaning staff would greet me proactively, which was a nice warm detail. The only minor drawback is that the mini-bar selection isn't extensive, but it's perfectly adequate for a regular stay. Overall, it's solid value for money, and I'd consider staying here again next time. Liam
[Additional comment]: It was pretty good, and the breakfast was delicious.

The service here is excellent, the environment is great, and the views are beautiful. There are also many delicious restaurants nearby. The staff at the front desk, in housekeeping, and at the concierge desk are all very friendly. Xiao Wang from the concierge even proactively brought a fruit platter to my room. I've stayed here many times, and it's now my go-to hotel whenever I visit Lanzhou.

GGuest UserI had an absolutely wonderful stay. This hotel is very accommodating to foreign travelers. They did their best to communicate with our family to make sure they were happy and comfortable. The rooms are amazing and full of amenities. They have a restaurant downstairs and serve a large delicious breakfast each morning. They also have a movie subscription service with a nice selection of English movies as well. Fully enjoyed my stay and will definitely be staying again in the future.

✈✈maermingziyaobaqi✈Since I chose the Crown Hotel in Lanzhou New District for a business trip, I still believe that they are a brand of InterContinental. The check-in staff has a strong sense of service, the hotel facilities are also very good, and the swimming pool is very clean, so it is worth recommending.
GGuest UserWe were not impressed, especially for the price. We've stayed at hotels that are similarly priced and expected much better.
To be fair, the hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture, the room interiors, and the breakfast and drinks to get were all very nice.
However, the problems started at arrival. We were told the afternoon tea was cancelled and the restaurant was fully booked because of an event. No one told us this in advance, which was very disappointing.
The check-in was disorganized. The receptionist (who was also the manager) turned away to help someone else while I was still talking to her. She didn't give us our room keys, saying the bell boy would open the door. But when we got to the room, the bell boy had to walk all the way back to get the keys. The bell boys were actually very friendly and helpful—the only good part.
To make things stranger, the female manager called me a few hours after we checked out. She asked how the event affected our stay. I was busy and rushing around, and the call worried me—I thought I had left something behind. Asking for our opinion after we left was too late. They should have asked us during our stay, or better yet, informed us before we even arrived.
So, while the place is beautiful, the poor communication and service ruined the experience. We wouldn't stay here again for the price.

GGuest UserNice hotel next to Tuanjie Xincun Metro Station Line 2, but not up to 5star level. We stayed for 3 nights, as I had prepaid. No English spoken either at the front desk or breakfast cafe. Room was on the 26th floor with a magnificent view looking South. Quiet room, smallish and with little hanging space and no safety box. Breakfast was Chinese and underwhelming. Nice indoor heated pool, but quite crowded with outsiders allowed to swim there. Fantastic gym with everything you could need and all to yourself. Probably stay here again for one night if the price was right. As a day trip, we went to Bingling Si. Take Metro to QiLiHe station on line 1. Walk east past KFC, take the 2nd pedestrian overpass, turn right then left after the touts near the public toilets. This is the Lanzhou West Bus Station. We caught the 9am bus for 23 yuan cash only and only available on the day. At the other end, organised a car for 4 people for 320 yuan. Last bus back at 5:30. It will leave earlier if full. Near QiLiHe station, great coffee place at 76 Jian Gong Xi Jie. Back from the bus station, past KFC, past Metro, left into Jian Gong Xi Jie. Try the 'dirty coffee '

Service: I have a lot to say about the service. I booked this hotel because it offered a shuttle service. I had already arranged for a pick-up. Just before my train arrived, I realized it was Lanzhou Station, not Lanzhou West. I quickly contacted the front desk, and they said they only pick up from West Station. I said, 'Alright then, Ctrip's main page didn't specify which station.' So I decided I'd just use the drop-off service later, as I was staying one night and leaving from West Station the next day. When I arrived at the hotel, I tried to book the drop-off service, but the front desk said they didn't have anyone at 6:30 AM; they start at 7 or 8 AM. I said, 'Your shuttle service is really great! I booked this hotel for the shuttle service, and I didn't get to use it for either pick-up or drop-off.' I'm truly speechless. I've attached screenshots of my booking page.

올올리브늘보The hotel itself is clean, and some of the staff members are friendly. Prior to my arrival, I had shipped a package to the hotel and requested that they hold it for me; however, a different staff member claimed they had no knowledge of the shipment and returned it to the sender. This incident completely threw my schedule into disarray. On the day of my departure, I asked the front desk to hail a taxi for me, but the staff member replied that they didn't have any taxi numbers on hand and told me to go outside and flag one down on the street myself. The parking attendants were no different; they didn't lift a finger to assist. In most hotels, staff members typically go out to the street to hail a taxi for guests, so this level of service was deeply disappointing. I sincerely hope that the hotel will strive to improve not only its physical facilities but also the quality of its service.
