5-Star Hotels in Guangdong, China

This was my first stay at an IHG property, specifically the InterContinental Zhuhai, as I usually opt for Marriott hotels. However, my experience with IHG this time was genuinely impressive. The executive lounge, unlike Marriott's, wasn't a crowded marketplace, which made for a truly comfortable experience. I also really loved the wooden room key. I'd definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance.

Rosewood Residences is my go-to choice every time I visit Guangzhou! Perched high up, the city views are absolutely stunning. This time around, a big thank you to Bobo, the Front Office Manager, who prepared a fantastic room for me – truly professional, enthusiastic, and efficient. The room quality is consistently excellent, with high-end toiletries and exquisite bedding. During my two-day stay, Skylar Betsy from the front desk provided meticulous and thoughtful service, ensuring great privacy. I also want to thank Amy, who helped with my check-out; her attitude was wonderful. The Residences are conveniently located, with everything you need for dining, entertainment, and shopping. The overall experience was truly five-star plus – highly recommended!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The hotel provided perfect staycation vibe for a couple of nights. Facilities are very good and the place is close to so many good restaurants with weekend markets just right outside. Everyone has been super nice, attending to our needs and requests, even opening the doors of our service cars for us is just excellent. Front desk and c/s speaks english and very accomodating! I highly suggest this to all visitors in Zhuhai!

Choosing Wyndham Grand Zhaoqing Seven Star Crags for our class reunion in Zhaoqing was absolutely the right decision! The hotel is right next to Seven Star Crags, and you can step out and walk along the Star Lake greenway – the location is superb. The lobby is grand and elegant, and the courtyard with its small bridges and flowing water creates a wonderful ambiance. Our lovely concierge, Caroline, kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room with a private hot spring tub. The room was spacious and tidy, and the private hot tub on the balcony offered direct views of Star Lake – soaking in it while enjoying the lake scenery was incredibly therapeutic. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety, with freshly ground rice noodle rolls and Cantonese dim sum aplenty. The outdoor hot springs, heated pool, sauna, and kids' club meant there was something for everyone, ensuring both adults and children had a great time. The staff were attentive and polite throughout, and the room service was meticulous and spotlessly clean. It’s a perfect one-stop vacation experience, suitable for families and leisure travelers alike. We'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Zhaoqing!

My overall stay was very pleasant. The hotel's environment is elegant and grand, and the internal facilities are well-maintained. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and convenient, and the concierge service was thoughtful and meticulous. I especially want to thank Nicole from Guest Relations in the lobby; she was warm and polite throughout, provided helpful travel guidance, and handled everything calmly and thoroughly. The room comfort was excellent, public areas were clean and refined, and the overall service was detail-oriented. It was a truly memorable stay.

Had an amazing stay at Four Seasons Guangzhou. The hotel is beautifully designed, with stunning panoramic views of the city from the lobby, room, and restaurants. The room was spacious, luxurious, and impeccably clean, with a very comfortable bed and excellent amenities. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any requests were handled promptly. The breakfast selection was extensive and of high quality, and the facilities, especially the pool and gym, were well maintained and enjoyable. The location is also convenient, with easy access to shopping malls, restaurants, and major attractions in Guangzhou . Overall, a fantastic luxury hotel experience. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Guangzhou.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Wonderful Stay in Chaozhou We had a fantastic stay at Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside and honestly wished we could have stayed longer. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely eager to help. Check-in was smooth, questions were answered quickly, and throughout our stay the service remained warm and attentive without ever feeling forced. It’s the kind of hospitality that makes a hotel memorable. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after long days exploring Chaozhou, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. We also appreciated the thoughtful details throughout the room, including complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, bottled water, bathrobes, quality tea and coffee facilities, and plenty of storage space. The river view was another highlight. Waking up and looking out over the Han River and the city skyline was a wonderful way to start the day. The room felt peaceful, quiet, and very comfortable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. Everything felt well maintained and cared for, from the guest room to the common areas. What impressed us most was how the staff consistently went above and beyond to make sure guests were comfortable. Great facilities are important, but outstanding service is what truly sets a hotel apart, and this team delivered exactly that. If you’re visiting Chaozhou and looking for a comfortable hotel with excellent service, beautiful river views, and a relaxing atmosphere, I would highly recommend Crowne Plaza Chaozhou Riverside. A wonderful stay and easily one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in Guangdong.

Highly recommended! The front desk staff, especially Ev, provided exceptionally thoughtful service. They were polite and gentle, and even proactively offered advice on local attractions. The room was spotlessly clean, and the soundproofing was good. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. My entire experience was excellent, and the attention to detail in their service was truly heartwarming.

I booked an Executive Room, and it was unexpectedly perfect! Service: I was escorted from the front desk on the first floor to the Executive Lounge on the third floor for check-in. It was quiet and efficient; I just sat comfortably and waited. The staff on this floor were noticeably a cut above – all tall, beautiful, and with lovely voices. They could all provide service in three languages, and their Cantonese was perfectly modulated, soft and soothing, truly melting your heart. While I was in a blissful daze, the staff even arranged a room upgrade and late check-out for me – super happy! 🥳 On the night of check-in, they gave us a welcome gift and a handwritten card as a small anniversary present. 🥰🥰🥰 Perhaps due to the late check-out service, the room card's magnetic strip had a slight issue, but it was resolved quickly and smoothly – excellent job! Every staff member I encountered, at all levels, had genuinely radiant smiles, not forced at all. The entire team is well-trained, and the salaries and benefits must be good around here – truly living up to the 'White Swan' name. ☺️ Dual Executive Lounge Privileges: By the time we checked in, it was past afternoon tea, so we enjoyed the evening cocktail hour. There was a variety of basic mixes, and they could even make non-alcoholic versions for ladies and children. Besides small snacks, there were various Western appetizers, nuts, cookies, and cheese to pair with red wine. Vegetable salads and fruits were also available, along with Chinese dishes like chicken wings and braised ox tongue – you could easily have a full meal! 🤣 Unfortunately, we only had a little bite before heading to the pool. Cleanliness: All mirrors and metal surfaces in the room were sparkling clean, the bathtub was spotless, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. Facilities: The heated infinity pool has an accompanying hot tub and changing rooms with showers. The large towels were clean and soft. Right next to it is the spa, separated for men and women, with both dry and wet saunas. There are attendants to guide and introduce you, so you won't feel lost. What's particularly worth mentioning is the landscaping. The gardeners have meticulously trimmed and maintained all the flowers and trees. The plants are thriving and blooming, with no obvious signs of being haphazardly planted and replaced when they die. Especially those very old staghorn ferns – their blossoms smell wonderful, giving a full tropical vibe. The Koi pond's water quality is excellent, and the fish are healthy and lively! The White Swan finally showed me the true meaning of 'feeling at home.' When checking out, the staff member bid me farewell with 'see you next time,' and I genuinely look forward to it.

Whenever I visit Jiangmen, I always choose Wanda Realm. Upon arrival, a porter actively helped me with my luggage, and check-in was very quick. The front desk even proactively upgraded my room, which was excellent service. The room facilities and equipment are very comprehensive; it doesn't feel like a hotel that's been open for ten years. The hotel is conveniently located near a shopping mall and a park, making it easy to shop, eat, and exercise. It's a great choice for business trips or leisure travel to Jiangmen.
