"I recently took my 80-year-old mother on a family trip, and we stayed at the Tengrui Crowne Plaza Hotel for two nights. Overall, our experience was excellent and we were very satisfied! The hotel's location is superb. Our high-floor river view room offered expansive views, with a floor-to-ceiling window directly facing the Han River and Guangji Bridge. In the evening, we enjoyed breathtaking river scenery and a captivating light show. Even the Thai Buddhist Temple nestled in the distant mountains was visible, making for a truly delightful landscape. The room itself was clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing, ensuring my mother had a peaceful and restful sleep. The dining experience was fantastic. The breakfast selection was rich and varied, featuring authentic Chaoshan粿条汤 (kway teow soup) and local specialty snacks, all with a light flavor profile perfect for seniors. The weekend buffet dinner offered fresh seafood, authentic Chaozhou braised dishes, and special stir-fries, all enjoyed in a riverside setting that created a wonderful ambiance. The hotel staff provided thoughtful and attentive service, and their demeanor was gentle. Getting around to the ancient city, Paifang Street, and West Lake was incredibly convenient, with a short taxi ride taking just a few minutes, saving us from any travel fatigue. The hardware facilities are well-equipped, including a gym and resting areas. The overall amenities are mature, making it very suitable for family wellness trips. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Chaozhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling with elderly family members!"

"One of the best hotels in Zhaoqing! 👌 The lake view here is very comfortable, and the hot spring pools downstairs and in the room are definitely worth a dip. Plus, the lobby has a lot of entertainment facilities, making it perfect for families with kids. I'll definitely recommend it to other leaders and colleagues if I get the chance. "I really love this classic State Guesthouse. The White Swan Hotel has a deep-rooted history, and the staff are all very professional and well-qualified. For dinner, we went to the Jade Garden restaurant on the third floor. We got a table right away without waiting, around 5:15 PM. There was a live guzheng performance for 45 minutes, and hotel guests get a 15% discount on food, plus a 15% service charge. Our meal for two cost 1075 yuan. We stayed in a river view room. The blackout curtains worked great, so no sunlight came through in the morning. The shower had excellent water pressure, making for a comfortable wash. What was unpleasant, however, was the service at the bakery on the first floor. A tall female staff member, upon hearing I wanted to buy a Napoleon cake to send home, immediately told me it couldn't be shipped. She claimed they'd had incidents where customers complained about expired food after shipping, blaming the delivery person. I told her that if I chose to ship it, I would accept the risk of spoilage and she needn't worry. She insisted I call SF Express to confirm if they would ship Napoleon cakes. I made the call, and the courier arrived quickly to pick up the package. Plus, SF Express offers next-day air delivery. It's not necessary for the bakery staff to play the role of a know-it-all when it comes to potential disputes with couriers later on. If I couldn't ship it, I'd just eat it myself. Why make a customer who has traveled so far so unhappy? Why create so many hurdles just to sell a cake? I really don't understand. Her well-intentioned advice, which crossed professional boundaries, was unnecessary. A simple reminder would have sufficed. If I couldn't ship it, would she have refused to sell it to me? It's such a simple process: the customer wants to buy bread, you scan the code and take payment. This was truly bizarre."

"This time, I chose the Crowne Plaza Poly for my business trip to Jiangmen, and the overall experience was excellent. The front desk service deserves special praise; it was attentive and efficient throughout, making a fantastic impression. The staff was gentle and patient during check-in, and the process was quick. They proactively informed me about hotel facilities, breakfast times, and parking. Any questions I had were answered thoroughly and professionally, without any perfunctory responses. Dining was pretty standard overall, with a good variety of food items. Nothing particularly amazing, but also no disappointments. The only minor issue was that dirty dishes weren't cleared quickly enough, but that's understandable given the limited number of staff. My room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with soft bedding that made for a very comfortable sleep. However, there were two minor drawbacks. Firstly, the air conditioning wasn't very effective; the room temperature wouldn't drop, making it generally a bit stuffy. Since the windows couldn't be opened for ventilation, air circulation was poor, making the room feel a bit stuffy during the day. On a positive note, the hotel allows food delivery to rooms, which is a very thoughtful touch. When I called the front desk to request food delivery to my room, the staff responded quickly and brought it to my door in no time. Their responsiveness is highly commendable. If the air conditioning could be improved in the future, the experience would be even more perfect. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure travelers visiting Jiangmen. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Jiangmen."

My friend and I traveled from HK to Futian Mandarin Oriental to celebrate a birthday. I'd researched several hotels online beforehand and ultimately chose MO, a hotel I hadn't stayed at before. My main reasons were the hotel's reputation for quality and excellent service, as well as its convenient location for shopping, with a mall and many dining options right downstairs. From the moment we stepped out of the car and into the hotel, we could immediately tell it was different from other five-star establishments. The experience, from being greeted upon arrival, having our luggage promptly taken, being escorted to the 78th floor for check-in, and finally shown to our room, was incredibly smooth and warm. By the time we left, at least eight hotel staff members had interacted with us, and every single one was genuinely friendly and kind. This 100% positive interaction rate is something I've rarely encountered over the years. For me, the air conditioning's coolness and quietness, as well as absolute cleanliness and a modern feel, are paramount in a hotel room, and they scored full marks on all counts. (I learned that this hotel has only been open for four years, and I truly hope they can maintain this excellent standard, as it's crucial for guests like us). I'd like to thank the gentleman who checked us in – I've forgotten his name, but he was incredibly thoughtful and proactive in anticipating our needs, making arrangements for us to attend a concert on June 26th. I also want to thank the lovely Victor, who showed us to our room, gave us a detailed introduction to the hotel, and took photos for us. And a special thank you to Brian, the 'Chef Concierge' (Golden Key member), who satisfied our curiosity by explaining the origin and role of the Chinese Golden Key concierges. Besides having a wonderful birthday trip, we also gained a rich experience in human connection. Thank you to everyone at Futian MO. We'll definitely be staying here again! ^.^

I drove to the hotel, and from the moment I entered the underground parking garage, the signs were unclear. I circled around a few times and finally asked someone for directions to the elevator entrance. However, the elevator entrance had no Chinese signage, only an English hotel indicator. First-time guests would 100% not be able to find it! That door was a hidden, automatic door with no markings, just like a solid bronze wall. No one would know it was an elevator entrance; I also spent a long time searching and asking people before I found out, as shown in Figure 1. In the room's bathroom, the shower system had no hot and cold water labels. I didn't know which way to turn to get hot or cold water, nor did I know if the control switch for the overhead shower and the handheld shower was up or down. I had to figure it out by trial and error! When I turned on the switch, because there were no hot/cold or overhead/handheld shower labels, cold water poured down from above, giving me a chilling surprise! As shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3. Breakfast was inconvenient due to the small dining area and too many guests, which meant long queues. The staff's attitude wasn't very good either! Many online reviews are seriously inconsistent with the reality. This hotel definitely needs significant improvement!

A truly satisfying stay! The JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen is indeed a top-tier hotel. The lobby exudes a light luxury and grand atmosphere, and the public areas are spotlessly clean. The staff at check-in were very professional and explained everything meticulously. The room layout was well-designed, the furnishings were exquisite, and the cleanliness was meticulously maintained—even the corners were sparkling clean. The mattress had just the right firmness, ensuring a sound sleep until morning. During my leisure time, strolling around the hotel was very pleasant, offering a tranquil and comfortable environment. The guest relations team proactively checked on our experience, and any issues were addressed promptly. The hotel restaurants offered a wide variety of dishes with fresh ingredients. Overall, the experience was comfortable and relaxing, making it perfectly suitable for both short stays and longer trips. I genuinely recommend it to anyone traveling.

My stay at the Guangzhou Estanton Hotel was absolutely perfect, a definite five-star experience! The front desk staff were attentive and polite, and my room was clean and spacious. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom even had a large bathtub. The soundproofing was excellent. The hotel has its own swimming pool and gym, and the breakfast spread was diverse and plentiful, with everything from Cantonese dim sum to Western-style light meals. The location is convenient, not far from the subway, making travel easy. The public areas are well-maintained, with an elegant and quiet atmosphere. It’s suitable for both business trips and leisure stays, offering fantastic value for money. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Guangzhou. Highly recommended to everyone!

The Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen

Service: Special thanks to Bella and her team! The Ritz's service attitude was satisfying, but due to objective renovation issues, construction noise could be heard on every floor (starting at 8:30 AM, even on weekends). Bella was very considerate in trying to resolve the issue, and I'm very grateful. I believe this also perfectly embodies the Ritz's 'Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen' philosophy. Facilities: The current Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen is definitely not in its best state. Even in the newly renovated rooms (renovation completed six months ago), there was still a faint smell of renovation. Running an air purifier made it tolerable. The new rooms are indeed spacious and well-maintained, with very new facilities. Pool: It's very small and the water is extremely shallow. Many people just walk across the pool, and there's no staff to stop them. The 'fire cloud' evening view is beautiful, but I wouldn't recommend it for serious swimmers. If you're just looking for a photo op, it's fine. Cigar Bar: The staff were very patient, but the quality of the cigars varied, and the cocktails were just average. Overall, as a first-time guest at the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen, I found their service to be the best among hotels in the Futian district. However, objectively speaking, the renovation definitely detracted a few points from their 100-point service. I look forward to a better experience on my next stay at the Ritz! 🥂

Marriott quality is always reliable. Hotel parking is free, and the front desk always has water for guests. I didn't have time to try the pool, but my sister enjoyed the afternoon tea. It's located very close to attractions like Love Post Office, Lighthouse, Fisher Girl Statue, and Jingshan Park. It would be great to ride the colorful and multi-person bikes if the weather wasn't so hot, but unfortunately, it was. The facilities are complete and clean, especially the sliding door design in the bathroom, which makes the space feel very open and bright – I even want to adopt it for my own home. It truly makes the room feel much more spacious.

My child loved it and wants to stay here again next time. Chimelong Ocean Kingdom has several hotels: Penguin Hotel, Spaceship Hotel, and Hengqin Bay. Each has its unique features. Hengqin Bay's main draws are its water park and dolphins. The water park opens at 9:30 AM, and that's when the dolphins are fed, allowing for close-up viewing. The package ticket offers unlimited entry to Ocean Kingdom for two days, which is incredibly good value. Especially in the hot summer, you can get tired after half a day of playing, so it's great for kids to return to the hotel to rest and then come back the next day to finish exploring. Plus, you get one-hour early entry, avoiding the 10 AM queues at the main Chimelong entrance by using the hotel's exclusive通道. Breakfast at the hotel is also very extensive, with a wide variety of steamed dim sum, noodles, and more. Everything is of excellent quality! My child had a blast eating and playing. Hengqin Bay is absolutely massive, divided into Dolphin and Seahorse sections. Upon entering, you're almost shocked to see about a dozen counters with staff checking people in – it gets incredibly crowded! Naturally, during breakfast, two large restaurants serve food simultaneously. There was a minor hiccup during check-in, but the concierge discreetly delivered four picture books and puzzles to the children, which was a very nice touch! We also had an experience ordering takeout. Everyone waited at the takeout handover point, and we were all assigned four-digit codes, making it feel like a secret agent rendezvous – quite amusing.

Had a fantastic mini-vacation with my bestie at Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay! The hotel offers a great variety of activities, and our butler, Flora, received unanimous praise from both of us for her professionalism. @Flora's service was attentive, and she promptly responded to all our requests! The recommended 'Xiao Wan Travel Photography' is also super perfect for sisters who love to snap photos. In the evening, there are sunset activities on the beach, creating an absolutely amazing vibe for pictures. There are many dining options; the Food Gallery breakfast serves freshly made omelets and Cantonese dim sum, and the Thai food at Mi Yan is definitely worth trying, with its rich curry aroma. The room was clean and elegant, and opening the window revealed a large garden. We spent our free time strolling on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze at a leisurely pace – perfect for escaping the city and relaxing with friends.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve booked on my entire business trip so far. If you’re travelling for work and flying in or out of Guangzhou Baiyun, this place is unbeatable — it’s minutes from the airport (near the T3 terminal) and just a short walk from Renhe Station on Metro Line 3 (Exit C1), so getting anywhere in the city is effortless. The location keeps getting better. It’s walking distance to Huatong Plaza and the Huatongli commercial street, with plenty of food options right there including KFC, McDonald’s and Starbucks — so you’re never stuck for a meal or a coffee after a long day. The room itself was beautifully decorated and genuinely comfortable. Best of all, it had English TV channels — this was the only hotel on my whole trip where I could actually sit down and watch something I understood, which meant a lot after busy days of meetings and sourcing. But what really sealed the deal was the service. They held my luggage, helped me manage my orders, and the airport pick-up and drop-off made the whole stay stress-free. On top of that you get a pool, sauna and breakfast included. Honestly, my only regret is that I didn’t book this hotel for the entire trip. I’ll be back next time I’m in Guangzhou — highly recommended for business travellers.

Whenever I travel from Shenzhen to Hong Kong, I almost always choose the Crowne Plaza Shenzhen Futian. Its main entrance is right by Futian High-Speed Railway Station, making it incredibly convenient to get around on foot. I usually book my high-speed rail tickets and hotel room all in one go through Ctrip. This time, they upgraded me to an Executive King Room in advance. The room was clean and tidy, offering a high-floor view of Coco Park. The facilities and equipment in the room were well-maintained, indicating that it had been renovated. The Wi-Fi was also sufficient for daily needs. It was quite convenient having a robot deliver food when I ordered takeout. What I particularly love is the hotel's gym, which takes up the entire fourth floor. The fitness equipment is comprehensive and plentiful, and there's an outdoor swimming pool too. It's truly a paradise for fitness enthusiasts! Every time I left, the concierge staff greeted me warmly, so the service was great. It's just a shame I was in a hurry this time and didn't opt for a room with breakfast; the restaurant looked quite busy, so I might try it next time. Overall, this hotel can definitely meet the needs of business travelers, and it will essentially be my top choice whenever I need to be in Futian for work.
