"I stayed at the Kempinski Yinchuan for two consecutive nights, and overall, it was a very solid experience – the kind of comfortable stay where nothing goes wrong, and you even get a few pleasant surprises. The location is genuinely convenient. Just cross the road to your right, and you're at the Ningxia Museum. It was perfect for a stroll and then coming back to relax. The room was clean and spacious, and the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too firm. I slept soundly both nights. Service was prompt too; whether I needed water or something delivered, there was no delay. The breakfast bread station really impressed me. Both the croissants and the whole wheat toast were perfectly baked – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Paired with a black coffee, it was simply delightful. It's not over-the-top, and there's nothing to complain about. It's the kind of reliable choice where you think, 'I'd definitely stay here again next time I visit.'"

"The service attitude of the hotel staff is excellent. From the reception at check-in to room service, they are very warm and professional, making you feel extra comfortable. The hotel room was also very clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and all the facilities in the room, making my stay very comfortable and convenient. In addition, the hotel's catering is also very good. The breakfast is rich in variety and of good quality. All in all, I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to other travelers!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the Ningxia Museum. The rooms are spacious with a smart layout, and the bathroom is particularly large. This time, I booked an Executive King Room, and the food at the Executive Lounge's Happy Hour was exquisite and delicious. From the high floor, the panoramic view of Yinchuan city was incredible. The hotel breakfast is plentiful, with many Ningxia local specialties, and the service is very attentive. The Baicao Lamb Hotpot on the third floor of the hotel is absolutely delicious and a must-try. All in all, the JW Marriott Hotel Yinchuan comes highly recommended!"

"The hotel is located in the heart of the old town, near the Drum Tower, in a lively area with convenient access to dining and shopping. The hotel environment and cleanliness are acceptable. The breakfast is decent, with a pleasant ambiance; the homemade yogurt, eight-treasure tea, and dragon beard noodles are quite good. Room drinks and room service are reasonably priced. The beds are of medium firmness, and the room is equipped with a Nestlé capsule machine and two capsules, a boon for moderate to strong coffee drinkers."

"Very close to Lanshan. Convenient small restaurants and supermarkets downstairs. A short taxi ride to the high-speed rail station. The breakfast was plentiful, delicious and tasty. Even though there were many guests during the summer, the management was smooth. The front desk even gave out lollipops."

"This hotel is perfect for young children. My little one absolutely loved the courtyard, the hot tub, and the second-floor terrace. Stepping out of the courtyard, you're right on the dunes, perfect for endless digging – they were even happier than when they first saw the ocean! The hotel's public facilities are excellent; they even have a proper hydraulic-driven excavator experience. The environment is beautiful and great for photos. The overall design is a Moroccan rammed earth style, similar to what you'd find in Marrakech or Ouarzazate, which is quite rare in China. The stargazing conditions in Zhongwei are superb. If you love the night sky, you can't go wrong here. However, there were a few areas that weren't so great. First, there was an abundance of commercial photo shoots, which really detracted from the vacation feel. Second, the service level could be improved. While all the staff were very polite, the management and process design need work. Third, the food quality was not good. Breakfast was entirely buffet-style, with the only live station being noodles. There was no à la carte menu at all. The buffet and à la carte options for lunch and dinner were also disappointing, a significant mismatch given the room rates."

"Our first night was in a capsule room, which was quite spacious and comfortable for adults, and the kids really enjoyed it. For the second and third nights, we moved to a different room. Half of the curtains didn't block out light, the toilet constantly ran 24/7, and the shower would suddenly turn completely cold every three minutes or so. It was really terrible; it might just be a hardware issue with that particular room."

"The Desert Poplar Hotel is a beautifully designed resort nestled in the Tengger Desert 🏜. As a newly opened hotel, some of the details and amenities are still a bit unrefined and need further polishing. However, what truly stood out was the exceptional effort and sincerity of all the staff. They've also made excellent choices with their amenities; complimentary Perrier water, Bulgari toiletries, and even a delicate 'Little Prince' gift set for kids' toiletries 🎁 – I loved it! Throughout my three-day stay 🎎, from the front desk and housekeeping to the on-site service staff, everyone was warm, sincere, and incredibly responsive to our needs. They went above and beyond to resolve any issues, and you could genuinely feel the entire team's dedication to providing excellent service. The dining service was also superb 🍴. The buffet restaurant offered fresh ingredients, and every dish at the à la carte restaurant was meticulously prepared and delicious! The hotel's hardware is outstanding 🏨. The white architecture beautifully complements the desert landscape, and the desert pool and stargazing opportunities are excellent. The rooms are clean, and it's a great place for photos. While the new hotel still has room to grow, the overall stay was fantastic. I can see the team's effort and progress, and I look forward to even more refined details in the future. I would definitely be willing to return."

"Facilities: The room size was ample. Cleanliness: Good. Environment: It's connected to the Marriott, which gives it a grand feel. Breakfast is served at the Marriott and is very abundant. The hotpot on the third floor offers great service and delicious food (especially the baby cabbage, it has a milky flavor). Service: The front desk staff, Summer, provided excellent service."

"This hotel is very stylish. There's a large dressing mirror right after entering the room, which is especially convenient for someone like me who takes photos eight times every ten minutes [grin][grin][grin]. It's also very clean. If I had a photo of myself, I'd have put two of them in there (they're so photogenic). The room size is exactly the 40 square meters advertised online, which was perfectly adequate for a family of three. There's a small sofa, which the kids really love. What I love most is that it's not fully carpeted; only around the bed, the floor is otherwise, which makes it feel very clean. The service at this hotel is also a key factor that compels me to review it. I arranged a pick-up at the station two days before check-in, and the driver called me half an hour before arrival. The driver was a woman, but she was very steady and had excellent driving skills [strong]. The front desk staff was very friendly and proactive in checking us in. Later, when we were leaving, we had to check out later due to our schedule, and the lady was very helpful in extending our stay for free. Overall, this stay was a truly amazing experience! Highly recommended!"
