This is my first time writing such a detailed review, and I just have to give this place a shout-out, even though my photos are pretty mediocre.
I was in Altay for a business trip, and I wasn't thrilled with the hotel my partner booked. So I switched to this one, and I definitely made the right choice.
I absolutely loved the hotel's vibe. It seemed like a lot of ski enthusiasts were staying here. It's quite new, and the layout is exactly to my liking.
The breakfast was truly excellent. They had rice noodles, which I, a 'southern big potato,' love, and also regular noodles. The laundry room wasn't crowded, and there was a lovely lady in the lobby – she was so beautiful! It seems attractive people gravitate towards attractive hotels. They also have their own coffee bar, and the in-room capsule coffee machine was my absolute favorite.
The location is super convenient, right on the main street in the city center, with snowy landscapes on both sides. There are various restaurants right outside the main entrance.
The room was spacious enough to fit most ski equipment. It's clear they really understand the ski market. They also offer airport pickup, which is a huge plus. I'll definitely bring my family here next time, and I want to stay in a duplex!

The hotel is conveniently located near the airport, just a 15-minute drive away, with ample parking. It has a 24-hour self-service laundry room and a gym. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the room was clean and tidy. Customer service, especially from Xiao Yu, was excellent; they proactively contacted me to arrange my room. My flight was delayed, and the hotel even helped me with a late check-out. The driver for the airport transfer also arrived very quickly. All the services were convenient and seamless. I was very satisfied with this stay. Highly recommend!

My stay at the R&F Wanda Vista Hotel in Urumqi was truly exceptional! The Western-style decor immediately caught my eye upon entering the lobby. The Tianshan tapestries and snow lotus lanterns were stunning, instantly elevating the atmosphere. The staff were incredibly welcoming, greeting me immediately and making me feel incredibly attentive. I have to praise Sara, the hotel's housekeeper. After adding her on WeChat, she quickly addressed any requests I had. She was incredibly thoughtful! She also thoughtfully took care of any issues I had with my reservation. The room I was given was the perfect size, spotlessly clean, and odorless. It was a comfortable stay, and I had a great rest. Upon check-out, they even gave the children a small gift. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Urumqi!
Our last hotel on this Northern Xinjiang trip was truly satisfying. I looked it up and found out it's actually managed by a tourism company from Jiangsu, which explains why the management and facilities are a cut above the rest.
**Facilities:** The exterior looks understated, but the interior feels very comfortable. The room was spacious, the decor materials were high-quality, it had a good design aesthetic, and was well-maintained.
**Hygiene:** Clean and tidy.
**Environment:** It's across from Altay Sports Park, and our 6th-floor room had a great view of the snow-capped mountains.
**Service:** Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and they even arranged complimentary airport transfer for the next day.
**Breakfast:** There was a good variety of options, and the quality was quite good too.
Overall, it was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at during this Northern Xinjiang journey.

Urcove hardly disappoints. It’s a superb hotel with great hardware. However, location wise it’s a bit far from the east gate where the opening ceremony is (15min walk ish). Although you can use the north gate (8min walk), you land in a weird spot in the ancient city.
The hotels air condition also acted kinda weird when I was there. It stopped in the middle of the night even though I set it to heating mode of 24C, it dropped to 19C by itself.
The room I booked supposedly has a balcony to it. But the thing is, it’s pretty much useless cuz the BBQ smoke from nearby restaurants will overwhelm you.

Very good, the most beautiful ancient city, butler service. Originally came to the meeting, the 2-day venue hotel is said to be the largest 5-star Kashgar, that is to meet the function of sleeping. On the last night, I chose the ancient city sky garden, the highest ancient city, the real Uighur cultural experience, the housekeeper Xiaoyan is thoughtful and meticulous, and the car is picked up and sent off. It is great. I will choose here next time I come to play! Really recommend!

My journey westward led me to the Hilton Urumqi. Stepping through the doors, it felt as if I had entered a soothing oasis. After a long and dusty journey, what was most precious was encountering such genuine warmth.
A young lady at the front desk, named Xiaobao, greeted me with smiling eyes. Her words carried a unique clarity and sincerity, characteristic of the Northwest. She calmly and efficiently handled all the minor tasks, as if it wasn't just routine work, but rather like brushing dust off the clothes of a long-lost friend. Seeing my bewildered expression, she offered extra advice; when I inquired about local attractions and itineraries, she leaned over with a pen, meticulously outlining details. Such meticulousness went beyond her duties; it was more akin to an inherent kindness and sincerity.
The system at my previous hotel had failed to log out my secure session, leaving me stranded at the front desk, helpless, much like an ancient traveler who had lost their transit permit – anxious and embarrassed. Thankfully, Xiaobao came to the rescue, and with exceptional patience and professionalism, she helped me resolve the issue.
What was originally just a routine stopover became a memorable highlight of my journey, thanks to this meticulous attention to detail. Across a thousand miles of desert, with the gentle tinkling of camel bells, travelers have always sought nothing more than a lamp, a warm cup of tea, and a kind word. Yet here, nestled among the buildings at the foot of Bogda Peak, what I received far exceeded these simple desires.
The grandeur of the Northwest is hidden in its mountains and rivers; the warmth of Hilton is reflected on the faces of its people. My heartfelt thanks to Xiaobao; through her kindness, she truly showed me the meaning of 'a home away from home'. While other five-star hotels I've stayed at might match Hilton's facilities, it's the personal kindness and amiable nature of the staff that truly makes guests feel refreshed and at ease. It is precisely these golden pieces of the puzzle that assemble into the perfect experience at Hilton Urumqi.
This hotel is quite close to the airport. They offer a complimentary private car pickup service, which requires a reservation, and they were right on time and very professional.
The room decor was lovely, and there was a nice view outside the window.
The hotel's breakfast buffet was very rich and varied.
There's a small supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping.
Next door, there's a Hunan restaurant with delicious food.
It's not far from the city center, about a 15-minute walk, and very convenient for visiting the Altay Museum.
Highly recommended!
A truly wonderful stay that exceeded all expectations!
We stayed in different hotels in Tashkurgan County over three days, and only Snow Crown deserves a full five-star rating!
Excellent Location:
The hotel is perfectly situated. Turn right outside and you'll be right on the Panlong Ancient Trail, the Khunjerab Pass, and the various attractions of the Wakhan Corridor.
A key point is that there's a gas station right at the door. Travelers should definitely choose a hotel close to a gas station; there are no gas stations along the way to the attractions, so be sure to fill up before setting off.
Outside the window, the wetlands and snow-capped mountains offer breathtaking views. Even at night, when there aren't any sandstorms, you can see the stars.
Attentive Service:
Of the three hotels we stayed at, only Snow Crown had the concierge take the initiative to help with our luggage from the moment we got off the bus.
The front desk staff, both Tajik men and women, spoke fluent Chinese and asked if we were traveling for pleasure or business, and recommended itineraries.
They also helped us carry our luggage to the car upon check-out and gave us a gift. Room Cleanliness:
The room was larger than expected, very clean and tidy, with no odors. Besides the oxygen machine, it also had a humidifier, which is incredibly important for mainland travelers.
The room's toiletries were all disposable Chando products, not the kind that come in refillable bottles. They were genuine and smelled great. Two face masks were also provided with the room.
The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept soundly. The bathroom had separate wet and dry areas, and the water pressure was strong, making for a very comfortable shower.
Full Facilities:
There was a gym and swimming pool, but I didn't have time to use them.
The laundry room was especially noteworthy, with more than double the number of machines compared to other hotels. There was also a free billiards room and karaoke.
In the evening, you could choose between Chinese food or yak hotpot, both conveniently located right outside the hotel.
The breakfast was more varied and delicious than at other hotels.
This trip was made even better by choosing this hotel. I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Environment: I booked this hotel specifically for the snow mountain view, and during the off-season, the Conrad Urumqi offers excellent value for money! Unfortunately, the weather on the day I stayed wasn't great, with poor visibility, so the snow mountains weren't very clear. The hotel had a fantastic festive atmosphere before Christmas, with beautiful Christmas trees and decorations.
Facilities: I didn't visit the gym but did use the pool. The water temperature, environment, and everything else felt very comfortable. However, some people were taking photos (of people in the pool, not just the surroundings), and the staff didn't intervene. The room facilities were impeccable in all aspects; the executive room was spacious enough, and the layout was well-designed.
Service: The staff were very enthusiastic. The handsome Uyghur guys and beautiful ladies were truly a sight to behold, unique in all of China. The front desk lady also proactively shared information about local delicacies and communicated promptly. It would have been even better if they had noticed my birthday more promptly! When checking out, the bellboy, Allen, kindly helped me with my luggage and loaded it into the car. Many thanks.
Additionally, the breakfast at Conrad is definitely a bonus! There's an incredibly wide variety: ethnic dishes, Chinese, Western – everything you could wish for! And the taste is absolutely fantastic! The Conrad's milk tea is hands down the richest I've had in Xinjiang during my more than a week-long stay! The baked samsas were so delicious I devoured two; and the Baursak were much thinner and crispier than those I've had elsewhere, and served warm! There was also 'Ganzi Rou' (pot meat); my portion had lamb ribs, which were super tender and incredibly tasty. And breakfast even included steak! Who eats steak for breakfast, you might ask, but honestly, it was really good! I simply didn't have space for the wontons and beef noodles, nor for the dazzling array of Western breakfast options. This is definitely a hotel breakfast I'll miss, and it's perfect for experiencing Xinjiang flavors alone (since outside portions are usually too large, here you can try a bit of everything, and it's all delicious). You absolutely must try breakfast if you stay at the Conrad! The only minor imperfection might be the service: firstly, no one greeted me or led me to a table when I entered, nor did anyone ask what I wanted to drink; it was mostly self-service. Later, I noticed that not everyone was unattended; some guests were seated. It wasn't busy when I went, so I'm not sure what the situation was. Secondly, I wanted a soft-boiled egg, and the chef told me to come back in two minutes, but it wasn't soft-boiled at all, just a regular hard-boiled egg. Lastly, there was a mix-up with orders; I'm not sure how the staff remembered who ordered what, as I was served 'Ganzi Rou' twice, and three plates of steak were brought to me at one point 😅 Meanwhile, the table next to me had been waiting ages for their steak and eventually left impatient… These are some nitpicky details, but they don't overshadow the overall excellent experience, as the food itself was truly faultless.
Location: There's a large shopping mall right next door, making shopping very convenient. If you walk through the mall, you'll reach the museum, so it's very convenient to stay here if you want to visit the museum. The staff on the ground floor are also very helpful with directions, telling you the quickest way to get around.

LLizhixiaodianxiaFacilities: Although it's a tent, it has floor heating, so it's very warm at night. I feel like it's perfect for beginners who want to try camping but are worried about rough conditions. It's very friendly for camping newbies. The bathroom is a brick structure and also has floor heating, so showering isn't cold at all, and the water is nice and hot. In fact, we were so tired the first night that we just crashed and showered the next morning. Afterwards, we felt wonderfully warm and incredibly comfortable. In summer, there's air conditioning, a fan, and a humidifier. That humidifier at the hotel genuinely saved me later – heaven knows, as a Southerner, my nose bled on the first day in Kashgar from the dryness, and no amount of moisturizer or water helped.
Hygiene: It's quite clean; it feels like a newly built campsite.
Environment: It's a bit far from Taxkorgan town, but if the weather is good, you might be able to stargaze. Unfortunately, it rained the night we stayed. There's a wetland nearby, which is truly beautiful. I'll just post pictures of the tent's interior, haha.
Service: The campsite is a bit large, but I don't think walking around takes too long. Still, the hotel provides a shuttle service, with staff helping with luggage and transfers, which is great! There's also a particularly cute big fluffy chicken, hahahaha~
GGuest UserI have known of Kashgar for years because of its importance to the Silk Road. It was quickly planned trip and I chose the Radisson Blu because of good experirences that I have had with the brand in other locations. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted enthusiastically by Aria and the crew at the front desk. Aria even walked me pretty far to a restarant located in the same building later in my trip. My first night there was a sandstorm and the temperature in my room would not cool below 27C, the night crew was so helpful and ended moving me across the hall. Steven and Michael and Akhbar from management were always asking me how everything was and offering insights everytime that I walked through the lobby. The only criticism that I have is that the locker rooms in the pool area need some remodeling, there were some workers there the last couple days of my trip though. The pool itself was perfect and the attendants (Cindy, Katia, Meena, Winnie etc) were always cheerful and even would bring a bottle of water to my lounge while I was in the pool. Whenever I will return to Kashgar, I will stay here as I will urge friends of mine to stay as well.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a very convenient location in the city center, directly opposite the iconic Hongshan Park. It's also just about three stops away from the Grand Bazaar and the museum. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of small eateries and shops.
Our room was spacious and bright, featuring comfortable bedding and a bathtub perfect for a relaxing hot soak, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep.
The service was excellent. Manager Luo at the front desk was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, having already prepared our room and key card in advance. We even received a thoughtful welcome gift upon check-in, which tasted delicious!
The hotel lobby is beautifully decorated with distinct local characteristics. There's a charming long corridor, and they even offer traditional folk costumes for guests to take photos in. The hotel also provides its own dedicated and very convenient parking lot. Overall, the facilities are excellent.
I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Urumqi.
NNingning mumThe room is big enough, the living room has plenty of room for an extra bed, and the view from the upper floors is good. The elevators are well arranged, and there is no long waiting time on the upper floors. The overall service is good, and robots deliver takeaways when ordered. The Chinese restaurant is OK, especially the green leafy vegetables are better than those fried in other restaurants. When checking out, I asked for a half-hour extension, which was readily agreed.
GGuest UserAlthough it's an established hotel, it has a great location, very close to the Grand Bazaar and within walking distance of nearby restaurants. The front desk lady, Ms. Aiman, is beautiful and friendly! 🌹I love her so much! 🌹She upgraded me to a junior suite, which was quiet, safe, and comfortable. It was amazing! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The housekeeper was a senior employee and a beautiful young woman, equally attentive and enthusiastic. This made my stay feel safe and secure during this trip, and it was a very pleasant stay! The hotel has a very high occupancy rate, and it would be even better if the breakfast menu featured more Xinjiang specialties. Overall, it's very good! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
GGuest UserFrom the time of booking, I felt the butler's care and special car transfer. The yard we stayed in perfectly fits all the imaginations of the southern Xinjiang style. It is simple and exquisite. Our two couples live together. There is both a private space and enough for us to enjoy tea and chat together. There are fresh fruits and good night every day. The real surprise came from the housekeepers Semi and Xiaoqi. Named and praised 👍 Non-programmed service, received us like old friends: Semy used his sunny smile and rich local knowledge to take us away from the army of tourists and drilled into the treasure alleys known to local talents; The typical Uighur beauty of Xiaoyan, with its generous affinity, planned the route for us, recommended food, the performance we wanted to see, and also helped us buy tickets cheaper than online platforms. And then we went down to Ta County, and they took us to get border certificates... and so on. What moved us most was that due to time, we had time to pick up the booked baked buns, and we even forgot to have the baked buns (the tomato spicy skin is really delicious) and went back to find that they had been retrieved by us. This ”partner-style” service makes this trip to Kashgar full of warm human touch. Therefore, if anyone can see this comment, there is no need to worry about it. It is correct to choose this. There are too many points worthy of praise. Everyone unlocks it by themselves. I won't say much about 👍 (attach a photo, good luck!
GGuest UserThe hotel’s location is good. It’s close to the train station. There’s a place to eat within 5 minutes walk that’s open 24 hours. We booked a room with two beds and were upgraded to a king size bed with a sofa which can be pulled out to be a double bed. The room was spacious and clean. The yogurts that were offered with our room booking were tasty. I like them better than the North American ones. The staff at front desk was not that helpful. They couldn’t find us a universal adapter. When we checked out, we asked them to help us call a taxi as we don’t quite speak the language, they refused. They told us to go outside to wait for one. As we couldn’t communicate with the drivers, they refused to give us a ride. It was such a bad experience.

Excellent
DDieshileiThis time I stayed at Jiyuhe Hantian Hotel during my trip to Keketuohai, and the experience was great! The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the No. 3 mine vein, and it is very convenient to travel. As soon as I entered the lobby, I was amazed by the unique design of the mine elements, and the atmosphere was directly full! The room was even more surprising, with a large space of 60 square meters, Duravit bathroom, Slumberland mattress super comfortable, and equipped with laundry equipment, full marks for details! The catering must be praised, the breakfast variety is rich, the beef brisket topping noodles are super fragrant, and the Xinjiang flavor and other dishes for dinner are also authentic. The front desk service is super enthusiastic, and they took the initiative to help with the luggage, which is very considerate. The manager also enthusiastically helped us order and confirm the time for breakfast the next day. Overall, both the facilities and services are worthy of high-end positioning.
