"Abit cold in room when we got in there. But then it warmed up after some time. Cosy little room with 2 good size double beds just perfect for my family stay. Very nice breakfast and helpful staff. Will stay there again if price is good again like this time!!! Thank u"

"The hotel was lovely and the staff were professional, although they could have been slightly more friendly. The room did not have AC which was a big disappointment as we were very hot, but overall the facilities and spa was great."

"Spacious relaxing hotel set by the riverside, lovely walks through the nature reserve from the hotel and a fantastic location for sightseeing in the town centre. The pool and spa were also an added bonus and it was very relaxing sitting out under the fairy lights with the river views."

"Very enjoyable night on Half Board. Food was good with set menu, but a choice. Pool area a bit dated, but everything was clean. Bathroom needed the shower head changed, it was halfway down the wall. Bedroom extremely clean and towels and bedding immaculate. Breakfast was very good. Until I got up to get some food and came back to find the table cleared and a man not my husband about to sit down. We had full mugs of tea on the table and oj. Gone. Nevermind, it was funny !! Would return again though if in the area !"

"I have stayed here 4 times for conferences. Staff, especially in the restaurant are so friendly. Rooms clean and comfy beds. Air con in the communal areas but not in the rooms - which were pretty hot overnight."

"It is said to be a 28 square meter room, but I was given a room of at most 16 square meters. The quilt cover was not flat, a crumpled towel was placed beside the bathtub, and the items provided were of poor quality. Except for the outer shell of the entire building, there are not many historical traces inside. There is no lobby. There is a table in the narrow space at the entrance for check-in. Then go straight up the stairs. The price/performance ratio is too low."

"The room was noticeably smaller and more cramped than shown in the images on Agoda, especially in terms of usable space, which made the experience uncomfortable and not what we expected from the advertised photos. Additionally, the breakfast was good but was underwhelming, with limited options and unremarkable flavor. Overall, the stay did not feel worth the price, and we hope the property improves both the accuracy of their visuals and the quality of breakfast.”"

"Buffet breakfast is relatively simple, you can add money to order, the room can not add a small bed, the location of the hotel is good, the environment is fresh and quiet, there is free parking at the door, the restaurant dessert is delicious 😊"

"Couple with dog. For two nights we didn't have hot water. We rang reception an spoke to the duty manager - the second time...He told us it was because there was a coach load of people staying who had all taken a shower/bath at the same time on their return, and we would have to wait until it heated up again. That didn't allow for the lack of pressure - a trickle! In the end we gave up - no shower/bath. However, the duty manager assured us that the manager would find us the next morning.... this never happened, On the Saturday night the same thing happened. The excuse given by the receptionist for the manager not having found us that morning was there was a wedding and all managers were needed - they didn't start their shift until 11am. The duty manager couldn't speak to us as he was working at the wedding - Saturday night - but Leanne assured us that she had noted our complaint and that she had written up notes, and our inconvenience (now not having hot water for two nights of a three night stay) would be reflected in our invoice on checking out. This wasn't the point. The stay was supposed to be a relaxing, super special treat, not able to have a shower or a bath at night was NOT okay! She assured us that on the third night the 'tour' party and 'wedding party' would have left. So we would have hot water. Which we did. On checking out the receptionist had no idea about our complaint, and therefore couldn't help us. We are in the process of writing a compliant, and a review. The staff and hotel did not let you down - the management did! I have a video of the water pressure. On another point, the hotel is described as dog friendly. This might be the case. You can bring your dog for a fee of £25 a night, however, on check in we were told we had to eat in the bar area or outside. Luckily the weather was okay. However, we felt like second class citizens! Not only that but the bar area has no tables at which anyone could eat a meal - the tables are all low and only fit for snacks!"
