We had such a great time couple days the winds were high, but we didn’t let that spoil our vacation. The sun was out that’s the most important thing in the temperature was in the 70s and 80s and so perfect for people from Seattle Washington rainbows you know it’s a tropical area so the rainbows appear in the sky just so beautiful fireworks on Friday night was outstanding. Looks like all of Waikiki came to look And we stayed in the Tapa building and ocean view just outstanding. The restaurants to Bali was fabulous. The restaurants are on the street level was fantastic and we walked around the city and experience various type of cuisine. This is an outstanding vacation seven days and my wife and I are so glad that we have mobility and at our age so we could really enjoy the beach. Enjoy the catamaran enjoy just walking around the city shopping and so just outstanding. We look forward to another vacation like that. 

I have an issue with this hotel. The power went out. I use a medical device to sleep and I told him I cannot stay in the room to sleep first of all. There’s no air conditioner in Hawaii is very hot number two. I sleep with the medical CPAP machine, so I cannot sleep without that machine. How do they expect me to stay in this room? I checked out of the hotel they told me they would give me a full refund and now they are going back on their word and not refunding my money this is ridiculous.

Convenient location.. Lawson has everything needed food, drinks, souvenirs and water fun toys. Room decent modern and big. Cabana was pricey but worth a try if u wanna stay by the pool and beach all day. Access to the beach is easy peasy.

I booked this hotel three times between Ctrip and Qunar, because the price dropped the closer I got. The location of the hotel is indeed good, the room is large, the balcony has a good view, and it is very comfortable to use. Although the hotel is large, the elevator is very fast, and getting in and out is not as troublesome as some reviews said. The only inconvenience was that I checked out of the room that day, stored my luggage and went shopping. When I came back, I found that on the check-in floor on the second floor, all toilets required swiping a room card to enter, OMG. Later, I went to the change room where the third-floor swimming pool is located. There is no need to swipe the room card there. It’s very close to Marugame Udon, a popular udon restaurant. The “Mai*” matcha ice cream next to it is also good. You can try the purple potato balls in Duke Lane. The local poke bowl is worth a try.

The room is very big, the service staff are very enthusiastic, the hotel has a kettle, which is the only hotel with a kettle in our Hawaii trip. The price of the hotel including breakfast is also very good, and the high-rise mountain view room has an unbeatable mountain view! Recommended

The ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime.

The hotel is in an excellent location. It is only a few minutes' walk to Central Avenue, where you can shop and eat. There is a beach behind the hotel. Although it is not the main beach of Waikiki, it is less crowded and has big waves, which is suitable for family outings. The hotel front desk service is good, and early check-in can be arranged. The relevant matters are informed in detail. The cleaning lady is very enthusiastic and helps to solve the room problem. The overall hygiene is OK. There is an ABC store downstairs where you can buy things. The monkey kitchen has enthusiastic service and moderate prices. There is a circle of seats along the beach with a good view. The hotel can store luggage for free, and there are many places to rest in the lobby, and the seats are also comfortable. The hotel front desk can upgrade to a partial sea view room for about $24 a day. This room type comes with a small balcony. Sitting on the balcony in the evening to enjoy the sea view and watch the resident singers singing is very atmospheric; the hotel provides kettles, you need to go to the corridor to get water, which is quite self-service, and ice cubes are also provided; toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers, etc. are not provided proactively, you need to ask the front desk; the house was not cleaned proactively during the two-day stay, so call the front desk if you need it; the hotel has its own outdoor swimming pool, which is mainly played by children; the front desk will give beach towel cards, so you don’t need to bring your own towels when going to the beach or swimming; some rooms in the hotel seem to be under renovation, and the electric drill is very noisy in the morning. In short, the overall cost performance is good, the service is enthusiastic, and the corresponding hardware and software are in place.

Booked another stay the Marriott, my go-to when heading to Oahu. Location is fantastic for the beach, and I don’t mind the walk to the International Marketplace or Royal Hawaiian Center for shopping and dining because you really get to see so much going on. Room was clean and surprisingly even though I booked a city view room, I still had a partial ocean view.

Don’t expect much apart from the location. They should not call their kids paddling pool as a swimming pool, charging resort fee for just providing chairs and umbrella for you to take them all the way, 10mins of walk to a public beach.

Melissa, Jessie and Mr Kalani were all amazing service providers! I had one of the best and most comfortable stays here thanks to them. They are always ready to accommodate and help! They usually start shift around the afternoon to evening time however! The facilities were all great too! Being able to have a microwave and an ice box as well as ask for extra amenities like toothbrushes and body lotion was never too tough a task. Also it is close to 2 big malls -, namely waikiki and international marketplace. It was within walking distance to other big brand names and one can easily join in the fun on the streets. The only downfall was the other customers and how thin the walls were - which meant noises and talking even in the middle of the night. But other than that, it was a great stay. Great for solo travellers too :)

Our recent stay at Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu was a blend of highs and lows, with its strengths balanced by a few notable drawbacks. Situated in a reasonably good location and boasting cleanliness throughout, the hotel offered convenience and comfort in many aspects with a great pool and bar area including a separate adults pool. However, certain factors detracted from the overall experience, leaving us with mixed feelings about our time there. Let's start with the positives. The hotel's location, while not directly in the heart of the city hub, offered a decent compromise between convenience and tranquility. Close proximity to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon provided easy access to beach activities and waterfront relaxation, adding a touch of serenity to our stay. Additionally, we found the hotel to be impeccably clean, with well-maintained facilities and a commi**ent to hygiene that was commendable. Despite these strengths, there were some notable downsides to our experience. The most significant inconvenience was the walking distance to the main city hub, which required a 15-20 minute walk to reach popular attractions, dining establishments, and shopping venues. While not a dealbreaker, this added a layer of logistical planning to our daily activities and limited spontaneity. Another issue that significantly impacted our stay was the persistent noise from the elevator. Unfortunately, our room was located close to the elevator, resulting in constant disturbances throughout the day and night. The loud mechanical noises disrupted our sleep and detracted from the overall ambiance of relaxation that we had hoped for. In summary, Hilton Vacation Club The Modern Honolulu offered a mix of positives and negatives during our stay. While the hotel's cleanliness and proximity to Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon were definite highlights, the walking distance from the city hub, the disruptive elevator noise, and having to pay for hotel parking detracted from the overall experience.

Good, good, good, the best hotel in Hilo, the service is also good, I checked in a long time in advance and they gave me a room, and there were also drink coupons and other things, and they also gave me a free room upgrade. The scenery is also good. I like it

Delightful hotel in a prime location: surrounded on a peninsula of sorts by lagoons/“ponds” filled with wildlife like herons, turtles, and fish. Each morning there are people fishing and enjoying the park next door and the pool is situated to enjoy all of this beauty. The rooms are basic and dated but you have what you need and if you have a relaxed Hilo mindset you’ll probably enjoy the 60s tropical vibe as much as we did! Very basic continental breakfast (bread and fruit only), but an okay-looking restaurant on site. There is also a small party/liquor store and a gift shop. Advice on how to make your experience feel like a resort: - book room 416 or something around there: one with a balcony in the Oceanside. - grab some meats and cheeses from the supermarket and if you can, hard boiled eggs or the like to supplement your breakfasts (there’s a fridge in your room and you can put your continental breakfast from the hotel in a To Go container that you re use each day). -get up early each day to have breakfast in the balcony and enjoy your view a couple hours before the day’s activities. So special and relaxing!

Very good hotel, you get what you pay for. Recommend watching the sunset at night and snorkeling in the hotel in the morning. The water is clear in the morning, snorkeling in the lagoon and swimming with turtles, remember not to touch them. You can watch dolphins at any time in the hotel. In the morning, there are staff interacting with dolphins, and dolphins are more active than at night. The swimming pool facing the sea is also very good, the slide is fun and exciting, and there is a hot pool to soak in. It's just that there is only light rail now, and the sightseeing boat seems to have stopped, but the front desk is very good, helping us upgrade to a room on the first floor very close to the lagoon, and also gave us a one-hour hand-rowing activity. Parking is $48, and Hilton Diamond members valet parking is the same price as self-parking.

I was surprised at how big the resort hotel was. There was a tram, but no boats. The service to make inquiries in Japanese ended in March. The shuttle bus to the nearby shopping mall was $5 one way, so I walked there (just over 20 minutes). The room was spacious, but the water flow in the bathtub was not so good. From the room, you could see the golf course and the sea. The grounds are large, so I got up early in the morning and took a walk, which felt great. The best spots to see the sunset were written on the map of the grounds, so I was able to see a really beautiful sunset. There were sea turtles and dolphins, and a fun pool, so I had a wonderful time.

You must stay at this hotel for more than two nights. It is too big. You need to drive from the lobby to the accommodation. There are more than 20 annex buildings. You can go to the Hilton Hotel, which is also a car ride. The Hilton Hotel is bigger, with free trains and boats. It is very fun. We checked in in the afternoon and drove to the Hilton Hotel immediately. Parking is free. There are many swimming pools in the hotel. We played a sunset and decided to play in the hotel the next day. Then there is the King and Queen Shopping Village nearby to solve dinner. The next morning, drive to the Hilton. Snorkeling is free, life jackets, boating, skateboards are all free, and it is directly connected to the sea. It is worth it. We originally went out to sea for snorkeling. The time-sharing hotel has a kitchen. It is recommended that you eat breakfast in the room. The living room is very large. There is a golf course and swimming pool downstairs. There is also one in the lobby. We swam in three large swimming pools for two days, and there were five or six small ones that we didn't have time to go to.

The Condo was in good condition, could’ve used new carpet and paint touch up but despite that very clean!!! The size the condo was perfect and we could see the ocean from the patio doors. The kitchen was well serviced with clean nice dishes. The washer/dryer was a fabulous feature we used!! The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was including and easy to find. Condo was close to Kona Inn shopping and the bypass road used for Hwy 11. Would definitely recommend staying there!!! The guest book in the condo to write your own entry was so fun to read what other guests had done!!

Accommodation on the Big Island of Hawaii is very expensive. It is difficult to find a good and cheap hotel near the Volcano National Park. The only choice is the B&B. Do not think that the B&B is a single-family villa. This is not a home in Australia or Hawaii. Very expensive, the price you see, you can only rent a room in the villa, the kitchen and living room are to be shared with others. This lodge is less than a hundred years old. It is difficult to find. The place to check in is not together with the lodge, and you must see the check-in time. If you miss it, people will get off work. The staff will give you a map, clear. Tell you where the hut is, or give him the navigation directly. He will help you enter the coordinates, which is easy to find. The hut is about 1 km from the studio and drives very fast. The car can be parked in the open space at the door, the cabin is very clean, the living room is heated and the ceiling fan is on. It seems that the temperature difference between the mountains and the forest is very high. There is also a Chinese family who stays together. It’s just that everyone can chat and not feel restrained. The room is not big, the toiletries in the bathroom are very complete. Fortunately, the upstairs room is on our family. There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby, you have to drive out, the price of the supermarket is a bit high, it is better to solve the dinner directly in the restaurant, breakfast can be bought in the supermarket, so the kitchen of the wooden house is useless. Hotel is very nice with many swimpools and beach. But service is not that great and hotel breakfast is expensive and not good. I paid so much for each day and you don’t get too much service. If you book early I think it’s still worth it to stay this hotel. Location is very good, near by have markets and shop is very unique. I would like to thank you Ctrip for all you hard work make our holiday very special.

The Condo was in good condition, could’ve used new carpet and paint touch up but despite that very clean!!! The size the condo was perfect and we could see the ocean from the patio doors. The kitchen was well serviced with clean nice dishes. The washer/dryer was a fabulous feature we used!! The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was including and easy to find. Condo was close to Kona Inn shopping and the bypass road used for Hwy 11. Would definitely recommend staying there!!!
