"A somewhat outdated but still well-preserved hotel with one of the best panoramas in Ghana, a view of the Akosombo Dam with Lake Volta embedded in lovely hills! Wonderful! The restaurant is absolutely recommended. The food is very fine and, atypical for Ghana, is served without extremely long waiting times. As I said, the system is no longer the newest, but everything still works perfectly. The staff also seems very motivated and customer-friendly. We were sure to come back."

"What a find!!! I was in Koforidua for business and wanted a quality hotel to relax in the evening. This place was incredible. I contacted the hotel by telephone because I needed to organise daily transport. Within no time I had a reply, both accommodation and transport sorted, at right price too. On arrival I was welcomed with true Ghana hospitality and this continued throughout my stay. I booked an Executive Suite with balcony. On arrival my room was immaculately clean. This continued throughout my stay. The suite included a living room, fully fitted kitchen, dressing area, bedroom and bathroom with great shower. A fantastic suite with a super comfy bed. The grounds were also immaculately kept and a great swimming pool. The hotel has 2 bars and a restaurant. The sky top bar is great for relaxing and admiring the incredible views. The pool bar is great for mixing with the other residents and friendly locals. It was during the World Cup and we had a memorable night when Ghana qualified for the next round!! The food was first class, both at breakfast and for evening meal, with plenty of choice, good price and expertly prepared by Chef Isaac. The hotel is also very safe, with great security and the guards were very friendly too. My transport each day was efficient, timely and the driver Felix was a top friendly guy!!! He gave me a mini tour of the area on each drive. I got to know the owner and manager personally and they couldn’t do enough to ensure my stay was of the highest quality. Thanks to the other staff too, Alfred at front desk and Lydia and Mary working in the bars. The only problem was I had to leave after 5 days !!!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you are in the area for business or pleasure, or both like me. Thanks again to all at the hotel for a first class personalised stay at the Aiden Hotel."
