Staying here gives you easy access to attractions like Wukang Building, The Bund, Nanjing West Road, and Lujiazui. The subway is directly accessible, which is super convenient. Lujiazui at night was surprisingly quiet and peaceful, yet still had a bustling side to it. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the concierge service was excellent and very enthusiastic. The local Shanghai cuisine is also fantastic, definitely worth trying! A few days weren't nearly enough to explore everything. I'll definitely be back and will stay here again!

Staying at Shangri-La Shanghai was exactly what a city escape should feel like: luxurious without being fussy, courteous without feeling formal.
We were on the 25th floor, and the view of the river was the best part of the day — morning light on the Huangpu, the skyline stretching out, and at night the Pearl Tower glowing just down the road. It’s quiet up there, real tranquility despite being so close to all the tourist attractions.
The comfort carried through everywhere: the indoor pool and jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding, the gym had everything we needed, and the grand lobby is lined with high-end stores if you feel like browsing.
But the thing we’ll remember most is the afternoons — tea time in the lobby with a live folk music performance drifting through the space. It turns the whole lobby into something calm and beautiful.
Courteous staff, comfortable rooms, and a location that puts you right in the heart of Shanghai. We’ll be back.

This hotel is an absolute gem for my business trips to Shanghai! The location is truly unbeatable – it's just a 50-meter walk from the subway station. Getting to the New International Expo Center takes only 10 minutes by taxi, and the Lujiazui business district is a mere 15-minute drive. Plus, there are plenty of dining options conveniently located on both sides of the street, and the price is very reasonable. The rooms are spacious and bright, with excellent soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep after a busy day. The breakfast selection is incredibly rich; you absolutely have to try their freshly cooked local noodle toppings – I ate them for two days straight and didn't get tired of them! The front desk staff, especially one lady, provided super attentive service and even proactively upgraded me to a higher floor room. The 24-hour gym and laundry facilities are also incredibly convenient for business travelers. The value for money within Pudong's inner ring road is simply outstanding. I highly recommend it; you won't be disappointed. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai! (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)👍

Cleaning crews were very loud and noisy chattings and shouting to each other. Perhaps it is how they communicates. Carpet in corridors need replacing. In my room # 5125 which I stayed for 5 nights, needs minor repairs.
Hotel is well located in a very busy cross roads. Subway, only 10 minutes walks away. There are 5 coffee outlets within 10 minutes walks from Hotel. No steak house in this vicinity. The American fast foods outlets here had been basterdised to local taste buds, shocking.
Lookouts for the local foods delivery drivers in their electric bikes, they made their own rules in public roads and walkways. Few of them nearly went through me in ' green light ' pedestrians crossing.

A perfect base for exploring Shanghai — highly recommended
Just wrapped up a 7-night stay and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location is excellent — right on Binjiang Avenue in the heart of Lujiazui, with the riverside promenade literally at your doorstep and plenty of Shanghai’s iconic landmarks within easy reach.
The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and exactly as described. As a newly opened property, everything felt fresh and modern with a distinctly European design sensibility. Our room was centrally located on the floor, which made it quiet and well-insulated from any corridor noise. The near-lift placement was arranged without any fuss, which was a small but appreciated touch.
One genuinely unexpected highlight was the free laundry room on the 2nd floor. It was clean, well-maintained, and the smart system lets you monitor your laundry status remotely and sends you a notification when your load is done — a thoughtful convenience that made a real difference over a week-long stay.
Service was truly impeccable throughout. The team went above and beyond in handling Taobao deliveries — they would assess each package and either dispatch it via their in-house delivery robot for smaller items, or bring it up personally for larger ones. It’s a small detail that speaks volumes about the level of care here.
Transport was seamless too — Didi drop-off and pick-up at the hotel was smooth and hassle-free every single time.
For anyone visiting Shanghai, whether for sightseeing, shopping, or just soaking in the city, this hotel puts you exactly where you want to be. Would stay again without hesitation.

We booked the Kempinski for Children's Day, hoping to create a wonderful memory for our child. As a popular spot for its 'influencer-worthy' pool, the Kempinski truly lives up to its reputation. It has a distinct beauty both day and night, and I really felt the charm of Shanghai. The driver told me that many people come specifically to take photos of the hotel with the Oriental Pearl Tower – it’s a classic shot.
Now for a few minor issues: Our room had a great view (as shown in the picture), but the bathroom felt a bit dated and wasn't ideal. For a bubble bath, the water pressure wasn't strong enough, and the bubbles didn't quite materialize. This is a small point. Also, I found the Black Forest cake to be just average.
However, the burger we ordered for in-room dining (Picture 7) was absolutely delicious! It was huge, and I ate the whole thing. It came with truffle mayonnaise, and the patty was firm and juicy – highly, highly recommended! The price was definitely 'Kempinski-level,' but the taste, like private chef quality, was excellent.
I asked for an extra children's amenity kit for the room, and they provided a small bag that even included a Children's Day toy (Picture 14).
I also bought some ice cream, chocolates, and macarons from the lobby. The ice cream was the best – the strawberry flavor I had even had large pieces of real strawberry, which was a pleasant surprise! Ms. Julia Li was incredibly thoughtful and suggested I place the order through Dianping, showing great consideration for the customer. Big kudos to her! She was the only one who told me this, despite me buying items three times, so a special thank you!

Atour Wild 4.0: Unwind and reconnect with your inner peace!
This was my first stay, and the accommodation and service were great. It's a wonderful place to relax and get away. The overall design has a warm, yellow tone, which feels very cozy. As you enter the lobby, there's a fruit tea tree accompanied by the sound of dripping water and a subtle fragrance, creating a very tranquil atmosphere.
1. Breakfast: 7:00-11:00 on holidays, 7:00-10:30 on non-holidays.
The variety of dishes is rich and delightful. It's a nutritious and balanced breakfast, perfect for those with regular routines or who exercise.
2. Afternoon Tea:
Will try next time.
3. Late-night Congee: 21:30-23:00
My child wanted to try it, so I joined her – it was quite good!
4. Laundry/Drying Service:
Extremely convenient. You put your clothes in a basket in the room, write down your room number, tick the 'wash/dry' box, and call the front desk. Everything is taken care of, and once your clothes are done, they'll be delivered to your room door.
5. Gym:
Plenty of fitness enthusiasts here, and the equipment is excellent.
Atour's pillows are fantastic for sleep. This 'Wild' experience was great; our family of four thoroughly enjoyed it...
There are many malls nearby, and a pub just in front. It's also close to the 'three-piece suit' (referring to the financial district skyscrapers). To the right, in the residential area, there are two groups doing square dancing, which my mom absolutely loved! 😄

If travel is an escape, then Yunju Hotel is the most gentle place to stay in this escape. From check-in to departure, every moment is like being held by clouds, it is worth recommending 🌤️
📍 Geographical location: Treasures for quietness in the noisy
Hidden in the fireworks of the city, the corner is a quiet world. It only takes X minutes to walk to the scenic spot/subway station. There are authentic snack bars and convenience stores around, which are convenient for exploring the city's true color and avoiding the hustle and bustle of tourists.
🛏️ Room Experience: See the real chapter for details
· Design sense: log color + white aesthetic, floor-to-ceiling windows will invite the sky and clouds into the room, the bedding is soft and soft, lying down instantly like being wrapped in clouds.
· Intimate configuration: humidifier, smart toilet, capsule coffee machine, silk eye mask, sleep aid aromatherapy...even with two soft and hard pillow options. The most surprising thing is that the makeup mirror in the bathroom has LED lamp rings, which is too friendly to people wearing contact lenses!
· Neatness: white towels are stacked in the shape of swans, glass water stains can not be found, and the cleaning staff will help to wrap the charging cable.
🍳 Breakfast: Underrated Highlight Moments
Not a luxurious buffet, but a delicate ”in the ground”: hot freshly cooked wonton noodles, handmade osmanthus cake, rose ice brewed... Even the fruit is the local small cherries/berry in the season. The dining area is a glass flower room, and when the sun shines in, even the coffee cup is plated with gold.
💫 Service: Gentle and not disturbed just right
· The front desk will remember your surname and take the initiative to hand over umbrella cover and ginger tea on rainy days
Turndown service sent handwritten weather card and two handmade cookies (sealing bags to prevent softening)
· Auntie cleaning chased the parking lot to return the headphones when checking out, and wrapped them with paper towels to avoid falling dust
🌿 Special surprise
24-hour self-service tea bar in public areas with old white tea and local wild black tea
The top floor terrace can see the skyline of the ancient city, and free mosquito repellent and telescopes are provided in the evening
· Books on the shelf are not ornaments, can be turned over to handwritten bookmarks left by former residents
💌 Suitable for crowds
Quality-seeking solo travelers, lovers who are tired of copying and pasting hotels, and filial piety tours with elders (good sound insulation + direct elevator access + non-slip details in place)
⚠️ Small suggestions
The hair dryer can be upgraded to anion, and the shower water pressure is slightly over-soft (but the engineer adjusted it in five minutes after the reaction)
✨ summary
This is not a luxury hotel built in marble, but like a life-conscious friend, arrange all the fine pieces for you, leaving you with peace of mind to dream in the clouds. Added to the list of ”will visit another city for it”.

Had a really pleasant stay at Yitel Collection during my trip to Shanghai. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with good soundproofing and a cozy bed after long days of exploring the city. The location was also very convenient, close to metro stations, restaurants, convenience stores, and many popular attractions.
The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout the stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service felt professional. I also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and how well-maintained everything was.
One thing I really enjoyed about staying in China was how convenient daily life feels — mobile payments are easy everywhere, food delivery is fast, public transport is efficient, and there are many affordable food options nearby at any hour. Shanghai especially feels very safe, modern, and vibrant, both during the day and at night.
Overall, this hotel offered great value for the price, and I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

GGuest UserThe newly opened Hanting Hotel boasts brand-new and clean rooms. The staff are excellent, offering polite greetings. There are robots available for convenient food delivery. The lobby is spacious and bright, with self-service charging stations, tea and coffee stations, a business work area with free document printing, and a very generous breakfast. The location is particularly convenient, being only 200 meters from the subway station and a bus stop just 20 meters to the right of the hotel entrance. A top choice for tourists, highly recommended!

GGuest UserAfter comparing several hotels online, I specifically chose this one for a few reasons:
1. Its central location to major attractions like the Bund, Disneyland, Hongqiao High-Speed Rail Station, and the Science and Technology Museum means nothing is too far away, and you don't need to make many subway transfers.
2. It's very close to the subway station. After a long day of exploring, being able to get off the subway and be right back at the hotel gives you that wonderful 'coming home' feeling.
3. The front desk staff, especially the gentlemen, provided excellent service. It truly lives up to Shanghai's reputation as the 'Magic City' for its high-quality service. They even helped us choose a quiet room.
4. The breakfast for this price range was truly amazing (I forgot to take pictures!), and my child loved it.
If I come to Shanghai again, I definitely won't waste time and effort looking for other hotels. I'll book directly with eLong Anyun Hotel (Shanghai Lujiazui Minsheng Road Subway Station Store).

AAnonymous UserDue to a recent exhibition, all the hotels I usually stay at were fully booked, so I tried this one for the first time. I didn't realize I'd booked a room without a window, and it was quite small. Good thing it was only for one night. When checking out, I saw the price had skyrocketed to over 800.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is directly opposite Renji Hospital, which is an excellent location. The service attitude is also very good. The only issue is the cleanliness; the sheets had some hair. In our room, there was elevator noise on the right and air conditioner outdoor unit noise on the left. Other than that, everything was fine. If you're coming for a medical visit, staying here is both affordable and convenient.

GGuest UserThe room was fantastic, equipped with smart home features and an 'XiaoDu' smart assistant, which was a great touch and saved us from having to call staff for minor things. It was also incredibly quiet. The front desk service was excellent, and there were plenty of dining options nearby, including a shopping mall and Hema (grocery store) right next door. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe front desk staff (both the gentleman and the lady) were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spotless and looked exactly like the pictures, no discrepancies at all. It's incredibly good value for money, I highly recommend it! They even offered free luggage storage after check-out. There were 4 bottles of water in the room, and since I drink a lot of water, I casually mentioned it to the front desk, and the lady immediately brought up another four bottles, haha! They really treated me like a water buffalo! It was a very satisfying stay, and the price was excellent. If I'm ever in the area for business again, I'll definitely stay here. Thank you to the owner!
