Shamrock Lodge Hotel ★★★

"Very nice hotel with pleasant restaurant and bar. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Walking distance to castle and various restaurants and pubs. Reasonable price, also. Room a little stuffy even with the windows cracked but nothing that would stop me from staying here again"

Riverdale House B&B ★★★

"This was a wonderful, friendly stay with a lovely hostess (Avril) who knows the town and shared enough local history to whet the appetite. The room was comfortable, the food was good, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived. The walk to and from the Castle and Sean’s was easy, though there is a hill between. A great place to stay!"
