"The room has a nice view, is clean and hygienic, is spacious, the bed and mattress are comfortable, and the rooms in the back row are quiet. The lobby is also worthy of the price. The disadvantages are: the air conditioning in the room cannot be adjusted by each guest, it is fixed at 25 degrees, and the quilt on the bed is very thick. In short, it is hot when covered with the quilt, and cold when not covered with the quilt. It is not a good sleep at night. The room does not have a small table, so it is impossible to make tea. There is a Shanye Mixiangcai restaurant near the hotel, which is delicious, and the average consumption per person is about 100 yuan."

[Environment]: The decor is exquisite, definitely the best among nearby B&Bs, though it leans a bit too much towards a hotel style. [Cleanliness]: The bedding is very clean and soft, and the toiletries come in small individual bottles. [Food]: Breakfast is served individually with a good variety, and there's even fruit after the meal. The restaurant's ”Piaoliang Fan” (pretty rice/meal) offers great value and taste. [Highlights]: There are two swimming pools, which the kids absolutely loved. At night, you can look up from the rooftop and see a sky full of stars."

"The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere."

"Extremely satisfied with this guesthouse! I initially chose this location because the electric scooter parking at Yu Lin Ba (Fish Scale Dam) costs money, so I figured I'd stay here, see the dam, and then rent a scooter. That turned out to be a great decision – the location is incredibly advantageous, and currently, this guesthouse offers the best value and is the prettiest in the area. The hotel rooms come with washing machines, there's a 'Sky Mirror' on the rooftop, and a kids' pool downstairs. What really stands out is how attentive they are to every detail. Every corner is spotless. When I went to the Sky Mirror at noon, an auntie even specially cleaned the glass. The swimming rings by the pool were all nice and new, not tattered at all. The room also had a Tmall Genie, and the cleaning was impeccable. I arrived early, and they opened one room for me, and I practically watched them prepare the adjacent one. When we checked in, the staff immediately took photos of our license plate to link it to the parking system. The service was incredibly thoughtful, and we even received brown sugar as a parting gift when we checked out. A truly delightful stay!"

"We had a lovely stay at Mingshi Yaju Hotel. The hotel staff were kind and accommodating. The buffet breakfast was tasty and there was enough variety to choose from. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The amenities inside were great too. We made use of the gym and the pool. During our second day, the hotel let us use their bicycles to explore around Mingshi. Overall the experience was relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately there was a little bit of construction happening nearby, but it didn’t generate too much noise and in the evening everything was quiet and peaceful. For dinner was chose not to eat at the hotel, but rather to explore the restaurants around just outside of the park area. I had a great time and would recommend to friends."

"I booked a trip with two of my best friends to Lux Secret Retreat in Chongzuo, and the whole experience was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating. The most delightful surprise was the hotel's signature bamboo raft afternoon tea. Because of the heavy rain beforehand, the water level was too high, so we couldn't go. Doris from the hotel kept a close eye on the situation for me and immediately contacted me and made a reservation as soon as it was possible on our check-out day. The bamboo raft gently glided through the clear water and lush bamboo groves, with delicate refreshments and fruit drinks. As we drifted, the unique peaks on both sides slowly receded into the distance, making for fantastic photos. My friends and I chatted and admired the scenery – the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. A romantic afternoon tea combined with thoughtful service – it was all wonderful!"

"First off, the hotel's location is great. It's really close to Yulinba (Fish Scale Dam) and located within a resort area that has more than just this hotel, including pricier options like Mingshi Yayuan. The only difference is that those hotels have river-facing rooms, while this one is set back a bit. However, the restaurant part *is* right by the river, so in terms of location, it's pretty much on par with the more expensive places. As a guest, you also get free bike rentals and access to the museum, which has a few popular photo spots. The downsides are that the room facilities are a bit old. As soon as you walk in, there's a damp, woody smell from the furniture, and there are no charging outlets by the bed. Also, the bicycles are quite old."
