"Hey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!"

"After sifting through numerous reviews and shortlisting a few places, I finally booked this hotel for my parents for 3 nights. It just goes to show that reading reviews and doing your research really pays off for a smooth and enjoyable trip! 😆 The views are absolutely stunning, the location is superb, and the owner is fantastic. My parents were traveling alone, and being a bit older, the owner took wonderful care of them, providing pick-up/drop-off services and plenty of helpful information. The photos were taken by my parents, so their photography skills are, shall we say, 'limited' 😆, but hopefully, they still offer some useful insights!"

"Location of hotel is very convenient for travelers who take the tourist bus from either Chungzuo, Nanning or from Detian waterfalls scenic area. The room we booked had a nice view of the fields and karst mountains. What a beautiful sight to behold indeed. During the day, it can get noisy with all the comings and goings in the village and all around but at night, it was very quiet. The rooftop terrace was very nice and not busy when we were there. Breakfast was enjoyable with steamed buns, corn, soup noodles and boiled sweet potatoes- a healthy start for a very busy day. The very nice lady in charge of breakfast offered us breakfast on our check in day (we arrived at 10:30) and made sure we had enough to eat before sending us off to explore! We had never met a B&B operator who was so caring and generous. On our check out day, even though she was still busy with guests, she rushed out to bid us a fond farewell and a safe onward trip. Front desk and cleaning team were all very friendly, always smiling and helpful. All in all, a very warm and pleasant stay at Mingshi Scenic Area."

"Set up the homestay in advance, start from the origin, first navigate the distribution center to buy tickets, and inform you that you don't need a shuttle bus ticket. Then navigate the address of the homestay. When you encounter the checkpoint, show the homestay order, you can drive through it by yourself. After arriving at the homestay, walk to the entrance of the scenic spot, it takes 5 minutes. Detian Transnational Waterfall is about 2 hours after the whole trip. After entering the scenic spot, you will see the bamboo raft ticket office, which is also the starting point of the bamboo raft, go to the waterfall point, and then dock. The scenic sausage is good, and there is a photo space in the rice field coffee location. If you have been to Detian Transnational Waterfall friends, I highly recommend Guizhou Huangguoshu Waterfall, which is called a shock. The homestay is very clean, parking is convenient, and the landlord is very friendly. The room is very large and the living is very spacious and comfortable. The bath water is also powerful, the water pressure and water temperature are in place, and the price/performance ratio in the scenic area is very good."

"Traveling in the off-season, the hotel is very close to the entrance of the scenic spot. The proprietress also upgraded the room type for free. She also helped to deliver the luggage to the room when there was no elevator. She was always considerate. Dinner was also eaten in the hotel lobby. The local specialty green bamboo fish and asparagus were transformed into delicious steamed fish and head-tail tofu soup by the proprietress's cooking skills. Highly recommended."

"The room was very large and spacious! Perfect for those who dislike small rooms. The second bedroom had two comfortable beds, and the room was quiet and well-maintained; I slept very well. The view was beautiful. We were upgraded to a suite, so it was a great deal! The master bedroom was surrounded by bamboo groves and had a bathtub (my friend stayed in that room, so I didn't take a picture). Both bedrooms had their own toilets, and there was another toilet in the living room. There was a massage chair and a refrigerator. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the scenic area bus parking lot. They also have a restaurant; their signature dish is crispy roast chicken, and they also serve other local specialties. A 10% discount is given when paying with your room key."

"The hotel on the edge of the scenic spot, this price and the environment price are really worth it. I sleep well and walk a few steps the next day to see the waterfall. The location is great. The front desk helps to buy tickets. The boss also reminds friends with ticket preferential policies to make an appointment one day in advance. The service attitude is good. Stay here next time."

"Facilities: Informed the housing preferences and the needs of the children, the front desk proprietress upgraded the room for free, the newly renovated room shower water and other facilities are very good Hygienic: clean and hygienic. The proprietress is a clean person. You can see it in the entrance hall. It is clean and refreshing. Environment: The surrounding area is the Guizhou landscape of karst. The scenery is beautiful. You can see the ”Kiss of the Lion” by pushing the window. The scenery on the roof in the morning is amazing. Remember to get up early to watch the sunrise. Service: The proprietress enthusiastically introduced how to play the surrounding scenery. What time to go, the recommended spicy fragrance is super delicious. I love to eat. As soon as I enter the store, I know that it is a store that locals love to go to. Would recommend friends to go. The only fly in the ointment is that the ”Detian Waterfall” is sufficient in summer to look good and fun. The time we went is wrong. The ticket can be reduced from 115 yuan/person to 35 yuan/person a few days later. We as tourists did not do the strategy and did not go when drunk."

The facilities in the room with a view are average. The air conditioner started dripping when it was first turned on. There was also water leaking under the wash basin in the bathroom.
