"First time in Chongzuo, and I picked a fantastic B&B. The view of the mountains from the window was breathtaking and so refreshing! We traveled with a child, and they even provided a baby safety rail, which was a huge relief for us at bedtime. The lady at the front desk was very warm and helpful. The breakfast, served individually, was delicious, and surprisingly, they serve it until noon! 👍 If you're not keen on eating out nearby, the B&B's menu is also excellent, so you don't have to worry about going hungry if you get back late. 👍 Overall, I'm very satisfied, and if I ever come back to Chongzuo, I'll definitely stay here again."

"The hotel is beautiful and clean, and the room was very comfortable. The smart toilet wasn't super clean, but they provided disinfectant wipes and disposable toilet seat covers. The toiletries had a lovely grapefruit scent, and my hands smelled great after washing. The bedding was quite comfortable, with two types of pillows, both at a perfect height for me. The hotel restaurant food was excellent; breakfast was quite rich. We ordered three dishes for dinner: pepper pork stomach soup, fried river fish and shrimp, and fish head hotpot, all of which were surprisingly delicious. The restaurant service was friendly and enthusiastic, though not very professional. The complimentary sweet soup in the evening was very tasty. The afternoon tea desserts looked beautiful, but I'm not a big fan of sweets, so I didn't find them particularly delicious. My husband, however, really liked one steamed dish, which seemed to be steamed milk or something similar.
The laundry room was very clean; it's best to use it during off-peak hours. The pool also looked clean, but it was too hot outside, so I didn't have the energy to go for a swim.
The only thing that bothered me was that even though we stayed for two nights, we only got one sachet. I had hoped my husband and I could each have one. At check-out, they gave us a box of local brown sugar as a gift.
The hotel is right in front of the Fish Scale Dam, and it's very pleasant to walk around the area. It would have been perfect if the weather had been cooler."

Its location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to the waterfall scenic area, making it very convenient for sightseeing. The guesthouse itself is peaceful and quiet, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and warmly decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend the breakfast; although simple, it was delicious and featured local specialties, setting us up for an energetic day. The staff were also very warm, friendly, and provided meticulous service."

"This hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Mingshi Garden! The location is absolutely stunning, with direct views of the karst peaks and picturesque rice paddies – every photo you take looks like a landscape painting. Our stay was fantastic; the room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. A special shout-out to the service team: I accidentally lost my headphones, and the staff were incredibly patient and thorough in helping me search for them. They weren't at all annoyed, actively assisted in tracing my steps, and I successfully got them back. It was such a warm and thoughtful gesture. The service is incredibly warm and attentive, the environment is tranquil and beautiful, and the value for money is exceptional. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mingshi Garden!"

"After many years, I came to Daxin again and stayed at Vienna Hotel again. I still couldn't find a room type with breakfast on Ctrip. The hotel facilities are good. The parking lot is right in front of the hotel and can accommodate many cars. The hotel lobby is grand and the rooms are also large. The room we were given is next to the elevator and the sound insulation is not very good."

"This resort is super easy to find, right by the main road, yet it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful.
The facilities are really comprehensive – they have a restaurant, a pool, a laundry room, a card and chess room, a kids' play area, a coffee and drinks bar, and even a private parking lot with EV charging stations right out front. ❤️
Our room had huge floor-to-ceiling windows, so we could enjoy the scenery right from bed. There's also a private hot tub, perfect for soaking while taking in the natural views.
The interior was spotless and everything felt brand new, which made us feel very comfortable.
The hotel is conveniently located near Detian Waterfall, Blue Cave Coffee, and Vuna Seclusion, making it great for exploring the area. You can easily plan a fantastic two-day, one-night trip here."

"First, I highly recommend this place because of its location! After arriving, I learned that there are two accommodation areas in Shuolong Town: one located at the Detian Waterfall Scenic Area Visitor Center, where visitors must take a sightseeing bus to the entrance; the other is right at the scenic area entrance itself. We chose Yinquan Mountain Residence, which is right at the entrance, making it convenient for dining. The owner even helped us queue for tickets, saving us the 30 yuan sightseeing bus fee. Secondly, the guesthouse is newly opened, very clean, and tastefully decorated. The shower water pressure is excellent, and the air conditioning is great! Thirdly, the breakfast is excellent. Besides set meals, they also have porridge, soy milk, and noodles. The owners and their family are very kind and welcoming! Highly recommended!"

Feeling the local environment, we immediately combined local characteristics and modern art, using environmentally friendly building materials to create a modern and simple style homestay. At the same time, the homestay supplies and bedding are equipped with products from international front-end brands and domestic first tier brands (bedding such as Muse, Mercury Home Textiles, Carnation; imported bathing products such as Kerun, Shiseido, and Mayou; branded appliances such as Schneider Electric, Leifen hair dryer, and smart toilet). The front and back of the homestay building are all scenic, with mountain views in the front and pastoral, mountain, and river views in the back. Standing in front of the floor to ceiling glass window of the room, a beautiful scenery immediately comes into view. We pursue comfort, just to make your vacation more relaxed!
"The homestay is on the side of the road, with idyllic scenery on the back, a few hundred meters from the hotel there, Mingshi River. Shopping and eating around are convenient. The first floor is a restaurant with breakfast. The second, third and fourth are rooms. The rooms are large, new, and can be viewed. There is a place to dry clothes upstairs and a viewing platform. The homestay has an elevator, which is very convenient and cost-effective."

"This was my second stay at this hotel. I had such a great experience the first time I stayed here alone, so when I brought my parents to visit, I chose this hotel again. Every staff member was as attentive and friendly as ever. Whether checking in, checking out, or needing to go out for any reason, you can contact the hotel for a shuttle service. They even proactively help with luggage, showing great attention to detail.
The hotel's location is extremely convenient, right within the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area. They also provide free bicycles, allowing you to directly access and explore the scenic area from the hotel, which is very handy.
The room was clean and spacious, with complete amenities, and the view from the balcony was also lovely.
The restaurant environment is excellent, and the view from the window is stunning. There's a wide selection of coffee, and the quality is consistently good.
I look forward to staying here again!"

YYizhiteliduxingdejiangDuring this stay, I experienced two different room types. First, I stayed in the LUX* Select Suite, which offered beautiful and expansive views. Later, I switched to a One-Bedroom Deluxe room, which was significantly larger than the Select Suite. I'm very grateful to Doris for arranging both rooms for us; we were very satisfied. Both rooms came with extra-large panoramic floor-toceiling windows and a private plunge pool, which was delightful.
The resort's design beautifully integrates with the local culture. The distant mountains and blue sky are reflected in the water, making the architecture seem to emerge from it, creating a serene and breathable atmosphere.

HHongshoushouI spent two months researching and comparing hotels, and while places like 'Secret Realm' and 'Changliu' next door were super expensive, this one won my heart not just with its reasonable price but also its French-inspired decor. The check-in process was incredibly smooth, and the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. First, upon arrival, they immediately helped with our luggage and registered our car for parking. They also promptly informed us about the photo spot on the hotel's rooftop 😎. Second, the breakfast on the second day was clean, hygienic, and individually portioned, which was very comfortable. Later, because my whole family got food poisoning from a roadside stall near the cross-border waterfall, I'm especially, especially, especially impressed and grateful for the hotel's food hygiene! Finally, my child wears OK lenses but forgot the removal tool and couldn't take them out with their hands. In a panic, we had to ask the hotel staff for help, and a young lady was incredibly skilled, removing the lenses in an instant. I'm truly very grateful. My parents also said the hotel beds were very comfortable and the toothbrushes were excellent, so they insisted I mention it in the review~ hahaha.
Chongzuo is beautiful, and this little B&B offers many more surprises. I hope the B&B continues to improve~ Oh, a small suggestion: maybe prepare some stomach medicine. After all, there are many people like me who get upset stomachs when traveling due to unfamiliar food and water.

The hotel owner, Shaowei was there to help us in every possible way. She brought us to see the panoramic view of Mingshi Tianyuan with her own expenses. She also took us to another place to watch native people’s dance, sing and bonfire after dinner. She also helped me to catch a local bus to another town. Her kindness was simply beyond my expectations. If I come back to Mingshi, the reason will be not the town itself, but Shaowei.
2. Flawless cleanness
Everything looked to be built just now. Clean, comfortable and tidy. No smell of cigarette or whatsoever.
3. Decent breakfast
Breakfast is simple but the taste is good. You can enjoy rice noodle, rice porridge and fruits with good tea and soy milk.
4. Great location
The hotel is located close to the bus station and you can get on any local bus passing by easily. Good restaurants are everywhere nearby as well.

It's very close to the town's pedestrian street, where you can find breakfast and local specialties. The owners are very friendly, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. AAimaoxiandeyayaHey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

GGuest UserAfter visiting Detian Waterfall, we went to Blue Hole Coffee, then headed to the hotel, which was very close by. It looked like the newest hotel in the area. The service was exceptional; all the young ladies at the front desk were wonderful, providing service comparable to a five-star hotel, which was truly impressive. The environment was also fantastic. Eating in the garden in the evening was incredibly pleasant, and they even showed movies, which made the kids very happy. Breakfast was a bit simple but sufficient. Overall, it's a very convenient place to stay for a night after sightseeing.

All the staff, from the shuttle driver and front desk to the restaurant, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even included complimentary tickets and a bamboo raft experience. It's a quiet and convenient place, definitely worth considering, and offers great value for money!

GGuest UserThe hotel is a little far from Chongzuo but you can hire a Didi for about 380RMB from the chongzuo train station. The hotel is located in a beautiful park where you can take a walk and see the 100 doors (I think it was called) and walk all the way to the border post 3. It's was surreal. Across the river you can see Vietnamese house and people. we waved. a drone showed up we left. To go to the waterfall we walked from the hotel to the tourist center. About a 45 minute walk. Not bad once you get there.
The hotel is old and starting to show the tear. You can tell it was once great but no renovations have been made in forever. The carpet had stains on it. not tiny ones. The little mini balcony was dusty. The bed was big but on the hard side. The towels are frazzling it was unbelievable. The breakfast , if you are not full on on Chinese breakfast its a no no. AND no coffee EVEN though the COFFEE MACHINE looked like it had just been plugged off. sign sating being fixed. come on .It's a 4 diamond rating but it felt more like 2. It's also smaller than it links in the video and pics. There's an awesome restaurant at the entrance on the right. It made a whole lotta difference. Highly reccomend eating here. And we did!Twice. Food was not bad. definitely order the ribs. The staff is nice especially the restaurant lady.
