"The guesthouse was absolutely gorgeous, decorated in a minimalist style. The materials used in both the hard and soft furnishings were top-notch. They even had a Dyson hairdryer, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views of the Blackwater River, including the mountains and fields. Occasionally, you could even see boats passing by. I must also mention their breakfast and afternoon tea – they were plentiful and exquisite. The housekeeper was incredibly professional, providing impeccable service, patiently answering all our questions, and even helping us with our luggage. I was a little worried before arriving, but the experience far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended!"

"During our trip to Detian Waterfall, we stayed at the Shanwan Yujing Hotel, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Detian. The hotel's location is a major highlight, being only about a 5-minute walk from the Detian Waterfall Visitor Center, making getting around incredibly convenient. Both ways to get to the scenic area are easy: walk to the visitor center and take the shuttle bus directly to the waterfall ticket gate; if you're driving, you can drive directly to the scenic area without having to make multiple transfers. Whether you enter the scenic area early in the morning to avoid peak hours or return to the hotel in the evening after your visit, it saves time and effort, making it less tiring even when traveling with children. It's also very close to Shuolong Street for dining and shopping, a significant advantage in the Shuolong area. The hotel's overall facilities are new, and the environment is clean and quiet. Our room was spacious and large, with a comfortable layout, without any feeling of crampedness or confinement. All facilities were well-maintained, with meticulous attention to hygiene, clean and soft bedding, and a smooth bathroom experience. After a long day of sightseeing, it was a wonderful time to relax and unwind. The hotel's surroundings were quiet, with almost no noise at night. Having such a peaceful place to stay during the trip was incredibly comforting. What impressed me most was the hotel's warm and attentive service. One evening, we went to Shuolong Street for dinner. It was quite late when we finished, and it was difficult to hail a ride-hailing service. We were standing helplessly on the roadside with our child. We contacted the hotel front desk and explained our situation. The front desk staff were very understanding and immediately arranged for a hotel vehicle to pick us up and take us back to our accommodation. Encountering such practical help in an unexpected situation while traveling in a foreign place was incredibly heartwarming. This small act greatly enhanced our positive impression of the hotel. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently warm and polite, responding promptly to all inquiries and providing excellent service. Upon check-out, the hotel thoughtfully presented us with a small, elegant gift – a small but meaningful touch and a unique souvenir of our border trip. The area around Detian Waterfall has numerous hotels and guesthouses, many of which only meet basic overnight needs. However, Shanwan Yujing not only boasts a superb location and brand-new, spacious rooms, but also, and more importantly, offers exceptionally warm and welcoming service. It's more than just a place to sleep during your trip; it genuinely helps guests resolve any unexpected problems they encounter. If you're driving to Detian Transnational Waterfall and looking for convenient, modern, and attentive accommodation, this place should be a top choice. Whether you're traveling with family or with friends, you'll have a comfortable and worry-free stay, greatly enhancing your Detian experience. If we visit Detian again, we will definitely choose Shanwan Yujing again."

The hotel offered a rich variety of activities, such as making ciba (glutinous rice cakes), crafting herbal sachets, DIY popsicles, and a fireworks show, which the children absolutely loved and enjoyed. The restaurant's food was also clean and delicious. Every staff member greeted us politely. Before we left, we even received local brown sugar as a souvenir. A special thanks to Ms. Huang Sixia; knowing I wanted to buy some brown sugar for friends, she proactively gave me two extra boxes. It's not about the money, but her thoughtfulness and flexibility are truly commendable. I didn't take any photos of the hotel, but the overall environment is excellent. In this area, besides LUX*, Changliu is definitely a top choice."
