They had a ton of activities planned for the summer holiday, so there was never a dull moment at the hotel. The family-friendly activities like making sticky rice cakes, fishing for crayfish, and water sports competitions were all thoughtfully organized. The kids had a blast, and the adults could relax and unwind, making for an overall warm, comfortable, and perfect short family getaway."

The package I bought included afternoon tea, a travel photography session, and more. They even packed up our afternoon tea for us to take away. The staff were all very enthusiastic and helpful in resolving any issues. However, the restaurant, travel photography, and hotel seemed to operate independently. When I placed my order, it said I needed to book several days in advance, so I called before checking in. The attitude was good, but they kept telling me someone would contact me later, which created a slow information gap. The travel photographer added me on WeChat around 10:30 PM that evening, and the restaurant didn't add me. When I called to inquire, they asked for my room number, which I didn't have since I hadn't checked in yet. Upon arrival, the reception seemed a bit confused; I guess during the off-season, reservations aren't really necessary. There was also a tour group dining at the same time, with their guide using a megaphone to celebrate the festival, which truly gave it a 'community canteen' vibe in the literal sense."

"The Mingshi Garden Scenic Area is quite large, but the navigation was accurate, so we found it easily. This guesthouse is a converted local villager's house, and there's parking available right at the entrance. However, driving into the village was a bit messy due to ongoing construction at other guesthouses nearby. The infinity pool on the rooftop is definitely the best spot for photos. The bedding and air conditioning in the room were very comfortable. Breakfast offered basic meals, and on the first floor, they also provided complimentary mung bean soup (after 6 PM), peaches, and local lycheu. The room rate of over 700 RMB is close to what you'd pay for a five-star hotel in the city, but staying in late June meant we avoided the peak season prices of July and August. The restaurant on the first floor also serves lunch and dinner, and you can order à la carte. The front desk staff were gentle and soft-spoken. My only slight complaint about this stay was on the first day, there were flies in the room, and the mosquito repellent spray bottle was empty."

The hotel hasn't been open for long, so the facilities are quite new, and it covers a significant area. The guest rooms have a rustic charm, and desserts are served in the evenings. We booked the 'stargazing' room, which features a full glass ceiling, allowing you to lie in bed and watch the stars on a clear night. Just outside the park's main gate, there are numerous dining options, with roasted suckling pig being a local specialty."

Even when we booked a specific time for the restaurant and were promised prompt service, the food was still delayed by almost an hour. The room facilities are old, and on the first night, rainwater leaked into our room, which we had to block with towels. The parking lot was full of mud, and heavy rain made cars skid, which felt a bit unsafe. Here's the main point: On our second night, we stayed in Building B, which is quite a long walk from Building A, and there were no staff members around. This completely negated any benefits of the abundant activity areas. I absolutely would not recommend staying in Building B."

The staff provided thoughtful service, and there were even welcome fruits. This experience was almost perfect; it's an ideal vacation spot, and I'll definitely be back!"

Upon arrival, after calling to ask about parking, the butler helped arrange a welcome ceremony, which was very local and unique, and offered me some 'bingfen' (a local dessert) to try. Check-in was handled in a separate area. The front desk lady wasn't very chatty, didn't smile much, and after confirming my reservation, didn't provide any information about the hotel. Perhaps she assumed the butler would cover that. There was a brief introduction to the room, but no explanation of the Wi-Fi or mini-bar usage. All of this was later conveyed through standardized messages via the butler's corporate WeChat. My suitcase had two wheels damaged from rough handling. I asked the bellhop if the engineering department could temporarily glue them, but he simply said it wasn't possible. The Eggs Benedict at breakfast weren't very good; I'd suggest the restaurant management taste them themselves. I also asked for a celery mixed juice, and two different staff members immediately said they didn't have it. Eventually, a lady in a blue uniform said it could be made, but there would be an extra charge. Since I was only staying one night, I wanted to have some clothes ironed, but it turned out they needed to be sent to a laundry facility in Nanning, which was quite unexpected. I tried the rope-making activity, but the instructor didn't seem to fully understand it herself. I had booked it hoping to bring home something handmade, but it ended up being an awkward experience. The hotel actually has quite a few activities, but I suggest they take them more seriously, especially given the price point. I came into this trip with high expectations, but these experiences were a bit unacceptable."

The afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious! However, the front desk staff were very impatient, barely looking up when I asked questions. When they finally did look up, they frowned and stared at their computers before I could even finish speaking! It was a very unpleasant experience! Also, there's an extra charge of 168 yuan for two adults and one child to check into the room. I questioned this, and the reply was that it's a Ctrip policy, but I was quite tired after a long day of sightseeing, so I didn't bother arguing. I was woken up in the middle of the night by the sound of suitcases being dragged on the floor, so I logged onto Ctrip and asked customer service, who said it was free! Light sleepers shouldn't stay on the first floor!"
