"I would have needed a hotel to the bus station. Unfortunately, I didn't find and find a taxi at the arrival was difficult.
The hotel was right, although the toilets were Turkish toilets. And with my knee arthrosis, it is not top. The room felt smoke and the area was a little noisy and light.
The owners couldn't tell me how to go to Detian Waterfall and I galled to find.

"The geographical location is excellent, right at the entrance of the scenic spot. The famous stone monument of the scenic spot is even built at the folk entrance. The room window directly faces the entrance of the Dongnayu Bay Scenic Spot.
The double bed room is not big, but the furnishings in the room are very warm, the facilities are quite new, the bath water is very good, and the housekeeping is clean, which is quite good.
We forgot to collect the pad when we left. The boss found out and quickly called us.
There is no restaurant in the B&B, so you need to eat at nearby restaurants."

"This is a very unique guesthouse with a great location, close to the scenic area and convenient transportation. The rooms are spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Each room also has a large terrace, perfect for enjoying tea with family and friends in the evening. The owner is very attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They even gave us a complimentary Americano and handmade ginger brown sugar. Thumbs up! I'll definitely come back next time."

"The hotel is new and clean. The AI smart room is impressive. The view from the room is facing a small road and a mountain. Staff and lady boss are very kind, patient and polite. They drove us to our next hotel which is nearby when they saw us struggling to use DiDi Apps as we are foreigners . The food is superb. We stayed 2 nights and had all our meals there. Location is very convenient right across the Detian Waterfall ticketing booth and sightseeing bus. It’s 5 mins walk to Blue Hole Dayang Yougu Scenic Area. There is convenient store nearby. Will definitely come back again if we were to come to Detian. Our family had a great time!"

The hotel is one of the few in Shuolong Town with an elevator, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a view of Vietnam; you can see the scenery across the river just by sitting by the window. Also, the hotel's private kitchen dishes were excellent. The food was delicious, with Vietnamese flavors, and we rated it a 7 out of 10 for the best meal of our trip. We will definitely stay here again next time we have the chance.

GGuest UserShanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse may sound unassuming, but stepping into the rooms is a pleasant surprise. First, the cleanliness is impeccable; the beds and rooms are spotless, comparable to a five-star hotel. Second, the service is excellent. The owner is very welcoming and responsive to any questions. When we couldn't find Yushui Dam while driving there, he kindly suggested we call him – a truly kind gesture. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, easy to find, and very quiet at night. It even has an elevator, which is rare for a guesthouse. The rooms are particularly noteworthy – each one is large and spacious, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning views of the scenic area. I couldn't resist taking several photos. The curtains are automatic, the toilet is a smart toilet, and the bedding is excellent. There's also a table, two chairs, and high-quality toiletries, a hairdryer, and slippers. Having traveled extensively and stayed in various hotels of all levels and star ratings, I feel that Shanyao Xiaozhu Guesthouse offers a five-star experience at an economy price. All 14 of us in our group were extremely satisfied.

There was also unlimited fruit on the first floor, and booking tickets through the owner was both cheap and convenient. If you ran out of food, you could ask the owner if you could have a roasted chicken downstairs; I saw him roasting chicken when I came back.

AAimaoxiandeyayaHey Shanghainese folks, listen up! It's only a few hundred meters from the actual main entrance, but for lazy people, it might be a bit of a trek. You can drive there, and parking is 30 RMB. The guesthouse itself is really great – clean and relatively quiet! It's the tallest and largest guesthouse around, standing out from the ones on either side, so the views are unobstructed. During the National Day holiday, things were busy, but the landlady kept her cool and was super responsive to everything, which I really appreciated. Honestly, after looking around this trip, the service here was better than other so-called high-end guesthouses. The complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. There's parking right outside. I didn't have the landlady buy the 80 RMB tickets for me because she couldn't get them until 8:30 AM, and the scenic area opens at 7:30 AM. I bought my 110 RMB ticket online directly and was the first one through the gates on National Day. By 9 AM, when I was done and leaving, the peak crowds were just arriving. Then I went back to the guesthouse, took a shower, had some noodles, and relaxed watching a Vietnamese drama – pretty sweet!

It's situated right at the entrance of the Detian Transnational Waterfall Scenic Area, literally just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to the waterfall entrance, making it incredibly convenient. The surrounding environment is equally impressive, with fresh air and picturesque scenery. Staying here felt like being nestled in the heart of nature.
The service at this hotel is simply outstanding. The front desk staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive. They immediately offered to help with my luggage upon arrival and patiently provided recommendations for nearby attractions and local dining options. Check-in was handled swiftly, with absolutely no waiting time. Moreover, the staff proactively assisted me in booking tickets for the Detian Waterfall for the following day, which saved me a lot of hassle. Throughout my stay, any request I had was met with an immediate response. Their service attitude truly couldn't be faulted.
As for the room, I stayed in one with a balcony. It was spacious, bright, spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a perfect night's sleep. The room was fully equipped with all necessary amenities: 24-hour hot water, air conditioning, TV, telephone, and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The Wi-Fi, in particular, was remarkably fast – perfect for streaming videos or gaming without any lag, which was a huge plus for someone like me who relies on constant internet access.
The hotel also features a restaurant offering both Chinese cuisine and breakfast. The breakfast selection was extensive, including various porridges, breads, eggs, and more, all tasting quite good. Additionally, the hotel's restaurant serves specialty Vietnamese dishes that are both affordable and delicious, giving me a chance to savor authentic foreign flavors.
Furthermore, the hotel provides complimentary parking, which is extremely convenient for guests traveling by car. The parking area is well-managed and secure, so there's no need to worry about vehicle safety.

The twin rooms on the second floor and the third floor were all floor-to-ceiling windows. The big bed room on the fourth floor had a balcony and I liked it very much. The price was right. AAnonymous UserReally lovely guesthouse in the Mingshi scenic area with very warm and welcoming owners. The area is quite peaceful and rural. They make delicious home-style cooking using rice and vegetables grown in their own fields, which you can see at the back of the building.
We stayed here during our visit to Detian Waterfall, and also explored the Mingshi landscapes. The bus to Detian Waterfall passes through the village every morning at 8:30, so you can save some money on transportation to get there.
Our hosts got us free entry to the Mingshi Tian Yuan park in the evening to watch the Zhuang ethnic minority performances. Usually it costs ¥80 entry. They lent us bicycles and it was an easy 5-10 min cycle there.
Overall, highly recommend this place to other travellers!

CCheng Soi LaiThe location is good. Just 300 metres to the official Mingshi scenic area and the Tourist Centre. There are shuttle buses at the Tourist Centre to Detian Waterfall every day at 8.30 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm at 15 Yuan per person. There are also return shuttle buses from Detian Waterfall to Mingshi.
Staying at Kongshan Xiaozhu, we can enter the official Mingshi scenic area for the 8pm night performance by showing the card given to us by the boss.
Travelling to Kongshan Xiaozhu is very convenient by coach from Nanning Xixiangtang Bus Station. The driver will drop you at the roadside just 1 min walk to Kongshan Xiaozhu. Return to Nanning is also the same. The driver will pick you up at the roadside.
