"This hotel pays incredible attention to detail! The room's smart toilet was super convenient, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent. The front desk proactively upgraded my room and even recommended local restaurants. The room cleaning was meticulous – not a speck of dust, even on table corners. Plus, they had freshly made wontons for breakfast. My experience was fantastic, highly recommend!"

"This is a five-diamond hotel located within the Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. It's actually a few hundred meters past the old east gate of the scenic area, right before Wangmeng Town. The location is excellent, very close to the Xiaoqikong Bridge and Laya Waterfall. Xiaoqikong has changed a lot; shuttle buses now operate within the scenic area, which is very convenient for tourists, though it has somewhat diminished the unique charm of the original forest edge landscapes. Since it wasn't peak season this time, the hotel price was quite favorable, which was nice. We had a bit of bad luck this trip; it had rained heavily in Libo a few days prior, so the water in Xiaoqikong, though clean, had a yellowish tint. It lacked the characteristic clear turquoise and deep blue hues we'd seen in different sections of the river in the past. The hotel's service was excellent. The sink in the bathroom was a bit clogged, and after one phone call, maintenance staff arrived immediately to fix it. Turns out, a previous guest had thrown a piece of clear adhesive from a band-aid into the basin, which got stuck with hair further down, blocking the drain. It's a shame that some guests have such poor etiquette; a thoughtless act like that can cause problems for others. The hotel breakfast was decent, with a good variety of local Guizhou specialties and standard breakfast options. The only downside was the bacon and Western-style sausages. Guizhou lacks companies that produce high-quality Western sausages, and those generally made in China are often just mediocre. I'd suggest Guizhou consider introducing enterprises like Germany's Schindele to produce high-quality Western sausages, bacon, and other products using Guizhou's excellent pork, beef, and lamb as raw materials. Supplying these to major hotels would elevate the dining experience in Guizhou and even the entire Southwest region. Furthermore, Guizhou Dragon's cured and smoked products are excellent. Perhaps they could offer spicy sausages, cured pork, and braised pork made from Congjiang fragrant pigs to consumers, which might better showcase the unique flavors of Guizhou cuisine than some of the bland, uninspired products currently available."

"The hotel is right by the East Gate exit, very close to where you scan tickets for the scenic shuttle. The owner is a really nice guy; he helped us reserve a parking spot and carried our luggage. One night, it started pouring rain when we were out, and he even came to pick us up with an umbrella! He also gave us some watermelon, which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!"

"I am very grateful for the store's sincere service, which allows tourists who travel out to have a comfortable, safe and quiet living experience just like returning home. 👍👍👍 Thoughtful service: 1-Super proactive and enthusiastic help in picking up luggage and going to the front desk to complete the check-in process. 2- Since the room rate was determined during the peak period, when we arrived at the hotel, the store arranged to refund the deposit and re-accommodate us at a non-peak price, saving us nearly 80 yuan. This is really beyond my expectation, a very sincere store. 3-The store owner was very welcoming and took us to the room and arranged live TV for us because we didn't know how to use digital TV. 4-The store owner took the initiative to help us check the bus to Miao Village and sent us to the bus station to take the bus, which saved us the trouble of the journey. Thank you store owner! Inn room environment: 1-A complete set of Adolf shampoo, hair care and bath products, excellent! 2- Clean and tidy bedding and towels. 3-After use, the daily cleaning is done very cleanly and thoroughly. I wish the store a prosperous business and many customers. When I travel to Libo later, I will also stay in the store’s inn. 👍👍👍"

"It was my first time to Qixiaokong, and I was really lucky. I booked this homestay, and the owner was very nice. I didn't feel like a stranger in a foreign land at all. He was enthusiastic, cheerful and patient. As a Virgo, I am very satisfied with the sanitary conditions of the room. The mattress and pillow are comfortable, there is an electric toilet, and the shower water is large and heats up very quickly. The most important thing is, if you are from the north, you must come here, you must come here. Their breakfast, fried dough sticks, soy milk are all the taste of our north, including the steamed buns, which are so delicious. Oh, I forgot to mention the view from the open window, it’s unbeatable. You must charge, you must. Although we were very close to the scenic spot, the boss still used the small car in the third picture to pick us up, hehe"

"🌿 Great Emotional Value, Though Some Details Need Improvement I recently stayed at La Mere Ancienne in Guiyang. Overall, it was a warm experience, but there were some ups and downs. The Highlights: The ”Emotional Value” here is excellent. The nine-grid breakfast was both beautiful and delicious, especially the authentic beef rice noodles. Since it wasn't crowded, the waiter spent a lot of time chatting with the elderly members of our family, sharing many interesting fun facts, which made them very happy. We also received a beautiful tie-dye silk scarf as a parting gift. Later on, the staff was patient enough to upgrade our room, and the Yao herbal bath was perfect for removing all our fatigue. The Downsides: However, the check-in process left something to be desired. Although the room features a private herbal bath, the staff didn't proactively offer or deliver the herbs until we asked. Additionally, we were told that the afternoon snacks were already sold out when we arrived. Summary: While the initial service was a bit passive, the subsequent hospitality and the unique atmosphere made up for it. A solid choice, but I hope they can improve their proactiveness during check-in!"

"What I like most is : The room is on the fourth floor. I didn’t pay for an expensive room so the room looks out to the backyard which is disorganized. If I pay more I would’ve gotten a better view. What I pay is what I get obviously. Nevertheless the room is very very nice. It has many lights and well lit and I love it. I can read without feeling that I am living inside a cave. The smart toilet is a place to for buttock massage.  The breakfast is quiet good.. It has fruit, bao zi and a freshly made bowl of rice noodles. The hotel offers fruit for free . I love to have fruit and the fact that I don’t have to buy it and carry it back to the hotel. I have daily house keeping . My garbage was emptied.  There are 2 massage chairs that are very good. The hotel decor in the lobby and the room are very pleasant. The owner has good ‘taste’. I am not a big fan of disposable towels. If there is anything I prefer, is I want to cloth bathing towels. I felt like I used a piece of enormous napkins to dry my body. This is not a deal breaker though as I only stay 2 nights. If I stay longer, there would be anything else to do because I complete the whole circuit in less than 4 hours. The next day I went to Yao Shan and there wasn’t many people . But being 65, the entrance is free but I paid 20 rmb for the short bus ride. I paid 15 rmb one way on a DiDi there and the same coming back. The location is at the extreme end of this neighborhood and would require a 10 minutes uphill to the entrance. The park is quite big. You have to walk 10 minutes to 15 minutes to the entrance, then after you buy the ticket, another 10 minutes to the bus stop so it is quite a lot of walking before you begin your journey. If I have to do it all over again, I would have spent more time at every stop. I misunderstood that route A and route B is different. Route B is exactly the same as route A in reverse. The information given by the owner should include the trail from the bus top to the bridge . There is an option to ride a boat and then walk a bit. The trail is easy to walk and well maintained and quite pleasant early in the morning and before closing as there will be fewer people . The hotel is a bit far if you have a lot of luggages.  In summary, this hotel is the only one that offers breakfast in my 5 weeks through China and it was surprising good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone."

"This must be praised by the special car to the county seat. You can go to Maolan Reserve for 50 yuan in the county carpool. Originally, we planned to go to Qinglongtan on the first day. Because it rained, we changed it to the next day. It is recommended to play or look at the karst landform. If it rains, you can live for one more day. After going to Qingtan Mountain, you can go straight to the Golden Lion Cave Cave to cool off the heat. When I came back, I bought sour plum sauce in the county. The taste was different from the supermarket. I contacted the driver to pick us up to the hotel. The high-speed rail at noon on the third day, the driver sent us to the high-speed rail station. It was very convenient to not drive. Well done!"

"The location of the hotel is indeed a bit far from the scenic spot. A taxi from the train station for more than 10 kilometers costs about 25 yuan, and a taxi from the hotel to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area in Libo costs about 60 yuan. The room was very clean and quiet at night. The girl from Shuizu who checked me in also helped recommend a delicious restaurant. After searching, it was still the top restaurant here, but the price was very cheap, called Douhua Noodles, 10 yuan. Just so full. The hotel also sent a fruit plate in the evening, and the service was also good. In fact, I didn’t feel it was very far when I walked back to the hotel from the ancient town; it’s far away from the bustling city, and the staff are friendly. The surrounding environment is just average, and those who have strict environmental requirements may not like it here. However, the check-in hall is very classic, regardless of the surroundings. The hotel itself is pretty good."
