Tainan Hotels with Bars

"My first impression was that it was ”old school”, with a traditional sense of luxury that comes from an overwhelming Lobby & Reception, large comfortable Elevator lobbies etc. I also appreciate the great service from the staff who brought us extra coffee creamer, to housekeeping who straightened up my mess. Concierge was very attentive, she checked our taxi after we've alighted, to ensure that nothing was left behind. Its this attention to detail that I find rare these days, and therefore its left a deep impression on me. If I were to point out any shortcoming, it would be that the lighting design of the hotel needs a refresh. Some newer lights, aroma/scented corridors, and background music would help. (oops.. occupational hazard...)."

"Amazing location! The room was fantastic, and the mirror even doubles as a Bluetooth speaker! There's also a bar on the ground floor, which I highly recommend. Definitely my go-to choice for future Tainan visits!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this family friendly hotel. The room was a bit smaller than expected but had all the amenities we could wish for. We enjoyed a separate room for our preschool aged children. The hotel provided an ice cream bar, drinks including beer and juice, late night snacks and of course breakfast. The kids enjoyed the traffic playground a 5 min walk from the hotel."

"This is a fantastic hotel, I absolutely loved it. Honestly, it's the best value hotel I've experienced on my entire Taiwan trip. Hotels in Taipei at the same price (or even more expensive!) don't even offer half the space this one does. Seriously! 😂"

"This is a WOW hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Great location. Impeccable staff: Check-in, room attendant, ride hailing staff and especially their Concierge-Willy-!!!.All above par. And you gotta love their robot delivery:) They also include a free walking tour and it was wonderful!"

"The manager who  in charged of breakfast refuse my foreigners  customer to eat breakfast. The confirmation and notification SOP was very poor. The front desk people  and the restaurant people seemed to be disconnected. The experience was very bad."

"Tonight's #GuangfaApartment is a B&B in downtown Tainan. The first floor houses faaa.coffee, a wig shop, and the bar BAR MIU. After 9:00 PM, they offered a soft opening for a tipple, with a welcome cocktail 🍹. It was sour and sweet, and delicious. (Based on white wine with a hint of plum wine.) The room's furnishings are simple and understated. The two large closets resemble an ordinary bedroom. The exposed concrete walls and high-legged table lend a modern touch. The double bed 🛏️ is topped with a small round table. It's a shame the window-side potted plant 🪴 is plastic; otherwise, a short nap in the slanting afternoon light would be so relaxing. This B&B, which opened at the end of 2023, formerly housed a local department store. The original site was demolished and rebuilt over seven years, reflecting the owner's deep remembrance of his elders. FAAA Coffee on the first floor also serves as the B&B's check-in desk. It closes at 6:00 PM and check-in is available until 7:30 PM. The second floor is a common area, offering drip coffee, a refrigerator, and a water dispenser. After 9:00 PM, the adjacent bar, BAR MIU, offers a welcome drink. The surrounding area is well-equipped with amenities, and the popular dining and entertainment districts of Guohua Street and Hai'an Road are nearby. This stylish and sophisticated guesthouse is a must-see for those who enjoy an industrial feel."

"The location of this hotel is perfect. All the major cultural sites and shopping malls are within walking distance. I highly recommend the guests to buy the locally brewed Tainan beers (in bottles) from the reception. It is going to be an unforgettable experience. These local Tainan beers have a wide range of tastes, and the texture of each one is bolder and better than the conventional Taiwan beer and the imported ones. The hotel also has a neat and cozy common area on the 8/F., and it is comfortable to relax there. I wish the hotel had its own restaurant, but one can always find cafes for breakfast nearby."

"Stayed for two nights. Had some issue with our hotel room key. The staff were very proactive trying to resolve the issue, but it was only till the 2nd day of our stay that was resolved. There was no compensation for the incovenience caused as we only had 1 phisical key for 4 ppl. Having said that, the rest of the service was very nice, would be happy to go back again."

"地點離海安路非常近非常方便，有特約停車場可以折抵部分時數，房間乾淨，但四樓房間隔音好像不是很好，電梯會直接到達住宿樓層沒有額外的門。"
