"The room design was stylish, but a bit small. The hotel included breakfast and dinner, and I was pleasantly surprised to find out about dinner with a free drink per person, as I initially thought only breakfast was included. I highly recommend this hotel for foodies. However, be aware that the dinner menu primarily consists of late-night snack-style dishes, so you might need to grab a little extra of each item to feel full. The front desk staff were very friendly, and overall, it was a good experience!"

"This hotel is conveniently located next to the train station. The rooms are not new but well maintained and clean. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The breakfast has everything available you could want, although it is not necessarily the highest quality. I would definitely stay here again."

"The location of this hotel is perfect. All the major cultural sites and shopping malls are within walking distance. I highly recommend the guests to buy the locally brewed Tainan beers (in bottles) from the reception. It is going to be an unforgettable experience. These local Tainan beers have a wide range of tastes, and the texture of each one is bolder and better than the conventional Taiwan beer and the imported ones. The hotel also has a neat and cozy common area on the 8/F., and it is comfortable to relax there. I wish the hotel had its own restaurant, but one can always find cafes for breakfast nearby."

"Check in was easy and staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and well equipped however the AC was very noisy with little possibility to adjust. Street noise was bad on one wing of the hotel, I had to request to be relocated to another side which the staff accommodated after some follow up and ”encouragement”. It was strange that after 9pm there was no drink or food available at any of the restaurants or bar. The reception staff was kind enough to extend our stay by 1h without additional charge."

"The boss is super nice! ! If you like retro style friends hurry up and stay! Every small detail is also beautiful! From the gate to every corner of the room is also retro style! Love this place very much! Note that there is no elevator, all take the stairs, if you have mobility problems, you should pay attention, downstairs is a bar, you can drink downstairs, but the sound insulation is not very good, if you are easy to wake up friends may not be used to it."

"I had an absolutely delightful experience during my stay at Crowne Plaza Tainan! From the moment I stepped in, everything – from the front desk reception and impeccable room cleanliness to the overall service quality – truly exuded a five-star standard. The room was spacious and comfortable, with excellent natural light. The soft, comfortable bed ensured a perfect night's sleep. The bathroom featured a convenient wet and dry separation, was fully stocked with amenities, and even thoughtfully included aromatic bath products. Every small detail truly reflected the hotel's dedication and care. Breakfast offered a wide variety of high-quality dishes. Both the Chinese congee and the Western-style made-to-order egg dishes were exceptionally delicious. I particularly recommend waking up early to fully enjoy it! My favorite aspect was the hotel's location. It's peaceful and away from the city's hustle, yet still conveniently close to Anping Fort and the riverside scenic area – perfect for travelers who enjoy a more relaxed pace. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel for both business and leisure travelers. I would absolutely love to return! Many thanks to Crowne Plaza Tainan for such a wonderful trip."

"The manager who  in charged of breakfast refuse my foreigners  customer to eat breakfast. The confirmation and notification SOP was very poor. The front desk people  and the restaurant people seemed to be disconnected. The experience was very bad."

"New hotel is conveniently situated at tainan 老街，great architecture design with arts pieces on display, rooms are super spacious with beautiful interior deco. Breakfast set is sooooo delicious with different menu to choose from including vegetarian, staff are attentive & friendly, wlll definitely recommend to stay for a different experience."
