"This time, I stayed at the Yoshi Hotel and Travel Xinmei Hall for three days and two nights. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was convenient, close to many great restaurants and attractions. The staff were friendly and polite, and the check-in process was smooth. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Tainan and will recommend it to my friends and family."

"1. Centralized Aircon, aka if neighbour just happened to be smoking, the room might temporarily get some second hand smoke.There's window but I'm not sure how to open this kind, until I went to the next hotel haha. 2. Bedroom is big & spacious. Bed and quilt are fine. Slight sensitive skin irritation on day 1 then my skin has adapted to the bed. Has extra pillows that might be cleaner but I didn't use them. 3. Location is ok. Within 1km walking distance from many good local foods that are cheap and tasty. Free bicycle rental which can save some walking. 4. Bathroom is fine, quite big too. Mandatory to stand in the bathtub in order to use the shower head. Couldn't stick the pipe to only use shower head so did some temporary workaround. 5. Soundproof is not good, but didn't impact much except when a kid screamed and ran outside for God knows why. 6. An insect (or is it tw-cockroach version?) crawled out from a corner on my last day... I scared it then it ran back into hiding. 7. There's a water dispenser at the lobby (stage area), free snacks and tea bags. 8. Didn't want to keep towels in the wardrobe space with hanger or on the towel rack above toilet bowl, so can air dry in bathroom, as long it's not toooo heavy. 9. Door has double lock but no chain, so can use a hanger as workaround. Overall: there are a lot of workarounds that I can do, hence the stay was pretty pleasant. The price is definitely worth the stay."

"Pros: Just a 2-minute walk from the train station. The room had a bidet. My room was ready when I arrived at 12 PM, allowing for an early check-in. Cons: The bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, not even a shower curtain, so the whole bathroom gets wet. The exhaust fan is even louder than the air conditioning. Since I stayed in a single room, there was no fridge, no kettle, and no cups. They provided one bottle of mineral water, and if you needed more, you had to go downstairs where there's a communal fridge. It's an old hotel, over 30 years old, that has been renovated, but you can still see signs of its age."

"The location is excellent, just a 3-5 minute walk to Haian Road Art Street, the bustling Guohua Street, Zhengxing Street for a leisurely stroll, and the waterfront Hele Plaza! There's an underground parking lot nearby on Haian Road, so parking is quite easy. The hotel also has two paid parking spaces, which need to be booked in advance and are a bit pricey, but convenient! It used to be Pinji Hotel, then Ningshui Cultural Hotel, and now it's called Weil Cultural Hotel, but the basic layout remains similar. They no longer provide single-use toiletries, so you'll need to bring your own! You can also purchase them on-site (around NT$20 each). There's a PX Mart, FamilyMart, and 7-Eleven just around the corner, making it convenient to buy snacks, drinks, and daily necessities! The hotel has a water dispenser for drinking water. The room rate offers good value for money on weekdays, but prices are higher on weekends! There are also scooter parking spaces right outside. The room furniture is well-arranged, with a TV, mini-fridge, clothes rack, hairdryer, etc. The bathroom is spacious and not cramped, and the hot water supply is normal. However, the sink is a bit small, and water tends to splash out. This time, we stayed in a triple room again, and two nights were okay. I just kept noticing an intermittent musty smell in the bathroom, which I recommend they check."

"I stayed here on a weekday and found it to be pretty good value for money. Although check-in isn't until 8 PM, a 12 PM check-out is still convenient. The location is a bit off the beaten path, but there's a Pxmart, Poya, and convenience store nearby, so you don't have to worry about not finding anything to eat. The room was spacious, but the bathtub had a lot of human residue. I didn't notice it at first when filling the tub, but then I looked closely and realized I could easily feel it just by touching it, which was a bit disgusting. Other than that, everything else was actually quite good."

"Excellent stay! I got a great location for a good price. The window faces a wall, but the dehumidifier and air conditioner are fantastic. I stayed in a solo room that also had a desk and chair. I didn't take many photos of the room, so I took pictures of the restaurants nearby instead. First off, there's the Chihkan Tower historical site close by, and at night, there are lots of great yakiniku and izakaya spots. The lamb restaurant right in front of the place is a bit pricey, though. Come with friends if you're going there. If you have a lot of time with friends at night, try a Chinese stir-fried snack bar. Even if you're alone, you should definitely try the Chinese Eight Treasure shaved ice (Bā Bǎo Bīng). If you drop by the accommodation during the day, just go out and turn the corner, and you'll find a Japanese matcha shaved ice place called Hanamizu Uji Matcha Amamichaya. Their portions are huge, so it's best to dig in from the inside and add sauce as you go. Back to the accommodation: the air conditioning is cool, and there's a dehumidifier, making it very comfortable. It's great to keep using them to dry things without extra cost. For clothes, use the dryer that's in the pocket, and the dehumidifier also has an anti-bacterial clothes drying function. The air conditioner also dehumidifies. The water pressure in the shower is excellent. Don't lose your key! To open the door, just touch the middle part of the number pad with the key. If you don't know how, just ask; they'll open it for you."

"Location: Super convenient! Guohua Street, Hai'an Road, and Minsheng Road are all just a block away. You can turn a corner and be on You'ai Street or Zhongzheng Road. It’s a comfortable 10-minute walk to Koxinga Ancestral Shrine, Hayashi Department Store, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Ximen Store, National Museum of Taiwan Literature, Tainan Art Museum, Judicial Museum, and Confucius Temple Commercial District. Shops: On Zhongzheng Road, there's Poya, and across from it is Wusong Temple, a great spot for souvenirs. Cosmed and Watsons are just a block away. There are so many eateries nearby! Turn left onto You'ai Street and you'll find You'ai Market, which has several food stalls open late, though it can get hot in summer as there's no air conditioning. Hotel: The hotel itself is fine. The Wi-Fi, facilities, and cleanliness are all what you'd expect from a typical hotel. I particularly liked the bathroom – spacious, bright, and clean. However, the room and bed felt a bit damp, and even with the fan on, that feeling wouldn't go away. Here's the main issue: something was biting me. First night: Two bites. Second night: One bite. Third night: Two bites. Fourth night: None, because I checked out early that morning. The room was only cleaned once during my four-night stay, and they didn't change the sheets. I wonder if that's why bugs might be hiding in the bed and carpet. I thought about asking the hotel to change the bedding, but then I figured it wouldn't make a difference. The hotel is actually well-maintained. I just hope they can step up their cleaning and disinfection efforts, especially for the bedding and carpets. Upon check-in, I received a small gift: a coin purse or a drink holder. I chose the coin purse, which is very practical! 👍"

"The staff were very warm and friendly, and the front desk offered a convenient taxi service. The room was spacious and clean, with a thoughtful little bedside table (pictured in photo 2). Coffee and tea bags are available for self-service downstairs, next to a water dispenser. For elevators and after 9 PM, you'll need your room card for access, making it quiet and secure."
