"We had a fantastic stay the MountainTrip resort. Even before arrival they helped coordinate a private transfer for us to get to Shangri-La. They picked us up from the airport for free (which is a long drive). We also used their free drive to nearby Baisha. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities (fridge, free drinks, toiletries). The bathrooms were modern. When we arrived late they still offered us their daily tea and drinks. We had breakfast and a couple other meals at the hotel and always found the food delicious and well balanced. Attached a few of their daily menus. The family enjoyed petting and feeding their goats and ponies. They would give us food to feed them. The flowers were beautiful. Our stay will likely be a highlight of our trip to Yunnan. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff!"

"Lijiang Yuxue Yijing is truly a hidden gem! Nestled quietly beside Baisha Ancient Town, its 270° snow-capped mountain views are absolutely breathtaking. You can lie in bed and wait for the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' phenomenon, waking up to the golden peaks right outside – it's stunning beyond words! The biggest surprise was the adorable little lamb in the courtyard 🐑, so fluffy and soft. It comes right up to you to nuzzle your hand, and you can even feed it vegetables for free. It's gentle and friendly, making for fantastic photos that both adults and kids absolutely adore! The rooms feature a comfortable Naxi-style wooden decor, clean and spacious, with complete smart amenities and a great mattress. The butler service is attentive; they'll tell you the best times for mountain views in advance, and offer welcome fruits, afternoon tea, and a sweet bedtime soup – attention to detail at its finest. It’s super convenient to walk to Baisha Ancient Town, and you can capture stunning snow mountain photos from anywhere in the courtyard or on the terrace. The breakfast is authentic and delicious, especially the fresh and flavorful rice noodles. Snow mountains, little lambs, and a slow-paced life – it’s incredibly therapeutic! I'll definitely stay at Yuxue Yijing again on my next trip to Lijiang. Highly recommend it to everyone!"

"I was absolutely blown away by this guesthouse in Lijiang's Baisha Ancient Town – my stay here was truly exceptional! The guesthouse is nestled right at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. From my room, opening the window offered stunning views of the mist-shrouded peaks in the distance. Even lying in bed, I could gaze at the mountain scenery, which instantly lifted my spirits. The courtyard entrance features a beautiful water feature with floral arches, lush greenery, and white flowers adorned with light drapes. The reflections in the water created such an atmospheric setting, perfect for impromptu photos. The common areas inside are incredibly stylish, with giant log pillars and artistic relief walls – every corner is Instagram-worthy. The guest rooms are spotlessly clean, and the bedding is super comfortable. They come equipped with floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and an oversized bathtub, which was perfect for a relaxing soak after exploring the ancient town, melting away the day's fatigue. The guesthouse amenities are comprehensive, making daily life hassle-free, and the overall environment is peaceful and serene. "Full marks for recommending Lan · Shanying Hotel! The overall ambiance is absolutely incredible, with an elegant and quiet courtyard. The rooms are clean and spacious, and the view outside the window is super therapeutic, perfect for photos. The staff were attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay, responding quickly to any requests with detailed and gentle service. What touched me most deeply was discovering, after checking out, that I had left a highly sentimental and expensive necklace in the room. I was frantic at the time. After contacting the hotel, the staff immediately conducted a thorough search, quickly found it, and kept it safe. They communicated patiently throughout the process and returned it to me perfectly intact. Their honesty and sense of responsibility deserve full marks! "This is the best B&B I've ever stayed at – a wonderland that feels just like home. It perfectly matches all my expectations for a vacation rental. The basic cleanliness goes without saying, and the entire place exudes a serene atmosphere. The natural beauty is breathtaking; having Jade Dragon Snow Mountain right in front of you is an incredible experience. But more importantly, there's a group of people here who feel more like family than friends, making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. The lovely younger staff, the hospitable manager, the talkative chef, and the enthusiastic dog all became my family during my time in Yunnan. My stay happened to coincide with the Dragon Boat Festival, and everyone invited me to join their big family celebration with the best food and wine. The loneliness of solo travel was completely enveloped by warmth here. Thank you to the B&B and to everyone for their incredible hospitality. My only regret is not being able to stay a few more days. But I'm confident we'll all meet again in the future."

"The location in Baisha District wasn't as convenient as I expected. The only upside is its proximity to Snow Mountain, making it easy to get a taxi there directly. The housekeeper was decent and responded quickly, but the absence of a phone in the room was quite inconvenient. The washer/dryer combo was outdoors, which was problematic when it rained. Although breakfast was a buffet, the same dishes were served almost every day, which was a nightmare. The main staples were congee and rice noodles (and the rice noodles weren't even good...). Ordering takeout wasn't particularly cheap either. Not all room types include three nights of airport/station transfers, and the pickup cars they arranged for me smelled heavily of secondhand smoke and were driven dangerously. I felt like I was going to get altitude sickness even without it! The rooftop seems primarily set up for travel photography shoots. The photo editing skills of their partnered photographers weren't great; if you're looking for a freebie, just settle for a few free photos. The guesthouse also partnered with a tea factory for a free tea pressing experience. Overall, the guesthouse itself was okay, but some of the additional services (travel photography and transfers) weren't up to par. It's fine for a short one-night stay. There was also a small incident: the toilet was smart, but the spray position was off. When I asked the housekeeper to take a look, they told me that if I didn't know how to use it, I shouldn't use the smart flushing functions 😅. In the end, I fixed it myself, which was pretty annoying. Also, express delivery services don't deliver directly to the door here; only JD.com and SF Express can reach, which is also quite troublesome. I've attached a retouched photo with people removed; it looks fine, but it's clearly heavily post-processed. The original image was very dark."

To my surprise, the room had an emergency comfort kit, and the butler even brought a warm ginger tea to my room. I was instantly moved to tears 🥹. The thoughtful details showed such gentle care. The Naxi hot pot for dinner had a rich, warming broth – so delicious! Loved it! 😋 The room was surprisingly clean! Here, you can immerse yourself in Naxi culture and be wonderfully looked after. It's truly a hidden gem in Lijiang! I'll definitely bring my family next time 🥰

GGuest UserBaisha | This Guesthouse at the Foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Took Such Good Care of Me I highly recommend everyone who isn't interested in commercialized ancient towns (yes, I'm looking at you, Lijiang Old Town) to head straight to Sun-Kissed Mountain just outside Baisha Ancient Town in Lijiang. The rooms are truly exceptional. All room types start from 70 square meters and perfectly embody what a 'scenic view room' should be – a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling sliding doors, allowing you to gaze at fields and snow-capped mountains right from your bed. Even while sitting on the tatami to eat or drink tea, there’s a small window offering a beautiful view outside. There's also a long narrow window by the bed, so you can just turn your head slightly to see a vast expanse of blue sky and white clouds. The moment I saw this view upon entering, I immediately messaged all my friends to recommend it. A group of young people runs the place, with both cats and dogs, creating a warm community-like atmosphere. They created a service group chat with 11 people, and apart from me, everyone else was staff. From breakfast to afternoon tea to late-night sweet soup, all my food and drink needs were anticipated and delivered directly to my room. The drinks, in particular, were picture-perfect and really boosted my mood. Breakfast is served until 11 am, so after eating, you don't even need to think about lunch; just wait for afternoon tea. For the private hot spring, they help set up disposable bathtub liners and provide various bubble bath salts. They also give advance notice about the probability and timing of the 'golden mountain' sunrise (when the sun illuminates the snowy peaks) for the next day. There’s a six-seater commercial van shuttle service to Baisha Ancient Town, making things very convenient. The facilities are also top-notch: washing machine, garment steamer (yes, you read that right), oxygen machine, projector, humidifier, Bose sound system, and Kohler bathroom fixtures – absolutely everything you could ask for.

AAmTan26Our stay at this hotel was truly unforgettable and exceeded all our expectations. The highlight is undoubtedly the breathtaking 270-degree panoramic view from the room. On clear days, you can wake up to a magnificent view of the snow-capped mountains right from your bed—a sight that is simply magical. The hotel grounds are beautifully maintained with a vast green meadow where you can relax, breathe in the fresh mountain air, admire the stunning scenery, and watch sheep peacefully grazing. It’s the perfect place to slow down and appreciate nature. One of the most memorable experiences was the BBQ dinner held in the open field. Dining under the sky with the mountain backdrop was wonderful, and the evening became even more special with a local tribal dance performance where guests were warmly invited to join in. Every night ended with a spectacular fireworks display, adding a magical touch to the atmosphere. The hospitality here is exceptional. The owner and all the staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. They even arranged a lovely birthday surprise for me, complete with a complimentary bottle of red wine, which made the celebration extra special. The hotel also provides a convenient shuttle service to the nearby town, making it easy to explore the area. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking scenery, unique local experiences, and genuine hospitality, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s a place where you can truly unwind, reconnect with nature, and create unforgettable memories. I would happily stay here again. One small suggestion for the hotel would be to consider placing more fly traps around the outdoor areas during the summer months. As the hotel is located next to a farm, there are naturally quite a few flies. This small improvement would make the outdoor dining and relaxation experience even more enjoyable.

GGuest UserThis hotel is truly unique, and both the rooms and common areas are impeccably clean! The staff are all incredibly genuine and sincere, providing excellent service. As long as their car was available, they'd offer us rides whenever we left the hotel. They even proactively gave us oxygen tanks and Snickers bars when they knew we were going to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area! My kids also loved the hotel activities like fruit picking, handicrafts, and horse riding! We had unlimited drinks every day, and the coffee was delicious. The hotpot included in the package was also very generous – we couldn't even finish it all! The only drawback is the external environment. The hotel is located in the very natural Yuhu Village, quite close to a pasture, so there are a lot of flies. Eating in the restaurant while constantly swatting flies was the only unpleasant part of our experience. The 'Stone House' still has room for improvement, and I hope you continue to get even better!

GGuest UserThis time, I was traveling with my parents and children, and I deliberately avoided the noisy Old Town of Dayan. I took my friend's recommendation and chose this guesthouse in Yuhu Village, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! The guesthouse is right next to the village parking lot, making self-driving and parking incredibly convenient. My parents and the kids didn't have to walk far when getting in and out of the car. The entire guesthouse only has six rooms, so it's quiet with few people, offering maximum privacy. It was exceptionally comfortable to stay here. The owner was very enthusiastic and provided us with detailed travel tips. The courtyard is elegantly and cozily decorated. Even on a rainy day, sitting in the courtyard, sipping tea and chatting, gazing at the surrounding mountain scenery, felt incredibly relaxing. The guesthouse also has a coffee area and a restaurant. The local dishes recommended by the owner were authentic and made with fresh ingredients; both the elderly and children thoroughly enjoyed their meals. From the moment we entered the hotel gate, we were already amazed. The place is even more beautiful in real life than in the photos. The staff member who communicated with us via WeChat was incredibly helpful—from arranging our transfer from the station to the hotel, to accommodating my dietary restrictions as a Muslim. They kindly prepared a special breakfast for us: rice noodles with egg, along with sweet potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs. What made it even more special was that everything was cooked by a very warm grandmother. Despite the language barrier, we could truly feel the warmth and love in her cooking. The cabin we booked was absolutely perfect. It had a spacious yard, a hot tub, and a terrace with a table and chairs—great for dining or simply spending time together with family. Stepping inside the cabin was even more impressive: a large bed, lots of natural light, and equipped with smart home devices. One important detail for us was the bathroom—it had a bidet and a fully smart toilet with remote control. Since the temperature in Lijiang varies greatly between day and night, we were very grateful that the cabin had both floor heating and room heating. The bedroom also featured a large projector, and above it, a sunroof that can be opened—perfect for stargazing at night. It truly exceeded all our expectations. The hotel area is also next to a very aesthetic café with a stunning view called Yuntian Cafe. For those traveling with family, this place is perfect—the area is spacious and great for kids to explore nature. If you want to go out for meals, Baisha Ancient Town is just a few kilometers away. What I will remember the most is the kindness of the staff. Everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly, always doing their best to accommodate every request. Please never change—your hospitality feels just like being with family. Next time we visit Lijiang, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation.

With unspoiled agricultural land in front, the panoramic views are completely unobstructed. You can soak in the majestic snow-capped peaks right from your room, and even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain in the Sunlight' spectacle from your bed. The ambiance and viewing experience were incredible, making this the most delightful stay of our Lijiang trip. The service was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. As we stayed for two nights, the hotel kindly arranged airport transfers, making everything seamless and stress-free. They also provided daily shuttle service to and from Baisha Ancient Town, which was super convenient for exploring and saved us the hassle of driving or finding taxis. Beyond that, the hotel offered immersive Naxi cultural experiences like tea pressing and 'Jiama' woodblock printing, which allowed us to truly delve into local customs and added so much richness and fun to our journey. The staff were consistently warm and attentive throughout our stay. They greeted us cheerfully, patiently recommended local specialty foods and off-the-beaten-path routes, and all their suggestions were incredibly useful. During downtime, they'd even invite guests to gather downstairs for tea and a chat. Their genuine and heartfelt approach made us feel completely at ease and welcome, as if we were visiting our own backyard. Their meticulous care and concern were evident in every interaction, truly making us feel at home. The guest rooms were spacious, and the amenities were comprehensive and well-equipped with everything you could need, ensuring a very comfortable stay. First off, the guesthouse's ambiance is truly wonderful, completely living up to my imagination of Lijiang Old Town! The courtyard is beautifully maintained, with flowers and plants artfully arranged. Sitting there, sipping tea and soaking up the sun, was incredibly relaxing. The room decor also features strong local characteristics, with wooden structures and ethnic soft furnishings. It was very quiet at night, ensuring a great night's sleep. The only slight drawback was that the facilities felt a little outdated. For instance, the heating in the room was quite slow to react, and the water temperature and pressure for showering at night were a bit inconsistent. I hope the owner can gradually upgrade these. Also, there was no proactive cleaning service during my stay, which can be a bit inconvenient for guests staying multiple days. It would be perfect if there could be a simple tidying up each day. However, these minor issues don't overshadow the positives. Tingxueju's location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere, and the owner is very warm and welcoming, offering many great travel tips. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Lijiang, and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a peaceful environment!

DDangdangransssI absolutely loved the whole vibe of this five-star hotel. It was so quiet and comfortable, with a great sense of style. When I checked in, they thoughtfully arranged a room directly facing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain for me. It was incredibly relaxing to just sit by the window and watch the snow-capped peaks in my free time. The front desk was very attentive; they proactively asked if I was driving, and the free parking lot had plenty of spaces, plus the charging stations were fully equipped and easy to use. The location is superb, close to both the high-speed train station and the airport, making it super convenient whether you've just arrived or are about to depart. The entire room was clean and tidy, with soft furnishings, and you could even have food deliveries sent directly to your door. The front desk was efficient and quick in responding to my inquiries, and the service throughout was meticulous and generous. This is definitely a hotel you won't forget once you've stayed here.

CChitrlada HarnWhen my mother agreed to visit Lijiang with me, I browsed many hotels in Trip.com and sorted out this hotel out of many hotels with good reviews without knowing beforehanded that this will fulfill my satisfaction to the most. Before we got there, I contacted the hotel if it is comfortable for my mom to stay there because she is 88 years old and need to use wheelchair. After that they made up a wechat group to facilitate us. The staff who took care of us , xiao juan , helped us with the trip plan, escorted us to the ancient town of Dayan and Shuhe ,lead us to understand the town of Baisha and helped us with everything we need. She shows her emphaty to people with everthing she does.All the staffs there are young , polite and friendly. The location of the hotel is very suitable for exploring the ancient town of Baisha. The view of the snow mountain can be seen from the inner garden and more clearly from the third floor of the hotel.The room is comfortable with good quality bedsheet , blanket , towels and the heating floor. The breakfast is adequate with a set of chinese small dishes together with a choice of boiled rice or noodles. They provide free coffee all day with daily afternoon tea set and late night sweet soup and plum wine. I feel like I have nothing to ask more and wish to express my gratitude to all the staffs here. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to all who need to receive impressive service from these lovely staffs.
