"The path from Lijiang Old Town to the B&B is a bit narrow in some sections. Our Didi driver actually dropped us off less than 200 meters from the B&B, making us walk the rest of the way ourselves! Honestly, those 200 meters weren't actually that bad. The B&B owner apologized when he found out and upgraded our room! The room I originally booked already exceeded my expectations, but the upgraded room on the second floor was even more beautiful. From the floor-to-ceiling windows, you could see mountains and fields. The rooftop terrace offered expansive views, and occasionally you could catch a glimpse of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain's peak, though unfortunately, the clouds were too thick and there was no snow on the top. The B&B service was incredibly nice. The two young men working there were also very enthusiastic, not only helping us with our luggage but also giving us detailed recommendations for good restaurants and unique cafes nearby. They even gave us some fruit. The B&B is just a few minutes' walk from Baisha Ancient Town. The breakfast at the B&B was also very clean and exquisite!"

"We had a fantastic stay the MountainTrip resort. Even before arrival they helped coordinate a private transfer for us to get to Shangri-La. They picked us up from the airport for free (which is a long drive). We also used their free drive to nearby Baisha. The room was spacious, clean, and had plenty of amenities (fridge, free drinks, toiletries). The bathrooms were modern. When we arrived late they still offered us their daily tea and drinks. We had breakfast and a couple other meals at the hotel and always found the food delicious and well balanced. Attached a few of their daily menus. The family enjoyed petting and feeding their goats and ponies. They would give us food to feed them. The flowers were beautiful. Our stay will likely be a highlight of our trip to Yunnan. Thank you to the wonderful hotel staff!"

"The room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet."

The Lijiang Yulong Laixi Mountain View Homestay is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. Visitors to Yulong will find that the Lijiang Yulong Laixi Mountain View Homestay is a fantastic accommodation choice. The hotel is located approximately 21km from Lijiang Railway Station and 39km from Lijiang Sanyi International Airport. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Dabaoji Palace, Baisha Ancient Town and White Sands Navajo Tribe. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Yulong hotel offers parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling as a couple.

"I originally just needed a layover in Baisha and picked a random guesthouse, but I ended up falling in love with it! The room was quite spacious, and while the decor wasn't luxurious, it was perfectly acceptable. The location is absolutely fantastic – nestled in a quiet alley, it offers a peaceful retreat while being literally a 10-second jog from Baisha's center. The courtyard is a beautiful labyrinth of flowers and plants, and the self-service laundry and breakfast are conveniently located in the inner courtyard. I have to especially mention the service; they were incredibly responsive and always ready to help. If you messaged in the group chat, even if the front desk was busy, another friendly staff member would quickly appear. Guesthouses nowadays are really stepping up their game! Afternoon tea, a sweet goodnight soup, and luggage transfer were all meticulously arranged. Fresh flower cakes, fruit, medicine, and bottled water were available for the taking. The front desk staff, who I believe is one of the owners, was always smiling and had a great time chatting about football and playing pool with my husband. When we weren't out exploring, we'd play Go, sit on the stairs and admire the snow-capped mountains, and play with Kele – it was just so relaxing. Kele is the guesthouse's dog, and she has the best personality, super gentle! My biggest regret this trip is not bringing some dog treats; I didn't dare buy yak meat from the street for her. And Kele, if anyone bullies you and breaks your head, your big sister will get revenge for you!"

Kui Ran adheres to the philosophy of "Let the mountains return to nature and people to their true selves", creating a place for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature. Located in the prime spot of Baisha Ancient Town, it takes only 3 minutes on foot to reach the bustling town, allowing guests to enjoy both the lively atmosphere and a peaceful retreat. Here, simply lie back and take in the majestic Yulong Snow Mountain, the dreamy sea of clouds, the vast wilderness, and the starry sky - each view a breathtaking masterpiece. Kui Ran was renovated from a six-generation-old ancestral home of the Naxi and Japanese style, covering an area of over 3,000 square meters. It features two main buildings, two distinct inner courtyards, and an additional 2,000 square meters of outdoor space. The 160-year-old walnut tree in the courtyard is the soul of the place. The hotel has 14 rooms, including 13 scenic rooms facing the snow-capped mountains and one century-old ancestral home family suite. Each room is equipped with Marshall speakers, Epson projectors, Hisense TVs, Atour zero-pressure memory pillows, Acca Kappa toiletries, Kohler showers, and Jomoo smart toilets to ensure a comfortable stay. A complimentary breakfast is delivered to the room, along with welcome fruits, a snack package, and a selection of coffee for afternoon tea, allowing guests to indulge their taste buds and embark on a journey back to nature. We hope that all guests who stay at Kui Ran can shed their fatigue and embark on a journey back to nature.

"Traveling with my parents, I wasn't keen on climbing Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, so I did my research and chose 'Kui Ran'. It certainly didn't disappoint and deeply impressed this hotel-obsessed person! The outdoor scenery is just stunning; I honestly didn't want to go anywhere else, preferring to just stay in my room and enjoy the view. The coffee downstairs is absolutely delicious, even better than many of the big-name coffee shops in Shanghai. Unfortunately, I'm a bit prone to altitude sickness, so I couldn't drink too much. A special thanks to the kitchen staff, especially the lady who, knowing I wasn't feeling well, kindly made me a heartwarming bowl of congee. It was truly a lifesaver!"

"After comparing several places, we settled on this one, and it completely exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and clean, and the hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. All the toiletries were provided. The owner was exceptionally thoughtful, carefully planning our snow mountain route and recommending restaurants popular with locals, helping us avoid tourist traps. As we were driving, the free parking was a huge relief. Spending time in the sun-drenched courtyard, full of blooming flowers, sipping tea and just relaxing, made everything slow down. The value for money is incredible, making it a perfect spot for some peaceful rest and rejuvenation."

"Out of the three guesthouses we stayed at during our Dali and Lijiang trip, this was the only one that didn't ask me for a good review, yet it's the only one I actively want to leave a glowing review for. We had an absolutely top-notch guesthouse experience here. First off, the design. From photos, it might not look much different from other 'influencer' guesthouses. But once you're actually there and staying, you can see that this place's design truly has a foundation of aesthetic depth, rather than just being a 'trendy template.' The design here, especially many of the details, stands up to close inspection. Staying here was visually very comfortable and pleasing to the eye. The service was also absolutely amazing. Everyone from the owner to the baristas was incredibly friendly, attentive, and enthusiastic. Most importantly, you could really feel the owner's genuine sincerity in their hospitality. We even happened to be there when the owner's family was hosting relatives, and they invited guests staying at the guesthouse to join them for dinner. It was one of the best meals we had. The complimentary breakfast at the guesthouse was also delicious, and the barista's skills were incredibly professional and on point. As for the view, it's beyond words. It's perfect for just sitting and gazing at the mountains. Before we left, it was truly hard to imagine that this guesthouse would be the biggest highlight of our trip. I hope Mulan continues to thrive!"

Hotel near Lijiang Railway Station,Yulong
The Lijiang Yulong Snow Mountain Hot Spring Hotel was recently opened in 2023, making it a fantastic choice for those staying in Yulong. Traveling to the hotel is easy with Lijiang Railway Station located approximately 8km away and Lijiang Sanyi International Airport roughly 27km away. Seeing Yulong's sights from this hotel is easy with Lijiang Romance Park, Eternal Love Scenic Area - Nacuo Lake and Wenbi Reservoir all close by. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Yulong hotel provides parking on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"The environment here is absolutely beautiful. On our second morning, we even saw Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the hotel square. The public hot spring inside the hotel kept the kids entertained all afternoon. You can swim there, the water temperature is perfect, and the whirlpools in the hot spring play area were a lot of fun. They offer three types of drinks for free and unlimited refills, and the freshly squeezed juices are also very affordable. The public hot spring has separate pools for men and women, as well as mixed pools. The shower rooms are very clean. Our room was courtyard-style, with a private hot spring bath in the small courtyard. The hot spring water here is excellent; as soon as you get in, your skin immediately feels smooth, comparable to Beppu Onsen in Japan. However, the environment here far surpasses hotels in Beppu. Breakfast was also very good, and the hotel's dining prices aren't high. We primarily ate vegetarian dishes, and the prices were around 28-38 yuan per item, which is very reasonable and the food was clean. The hotel is very close to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, Shuhe Ancient Town, Baisha Ancient Town, and the Romance Park scenic area, making it a fantastic experience for children. We're already planning to stay here again for Chinese New Year!"

Hotel near Baisha old town/FOLIDAY Town Lijiang Mediterranean Resort,Yulong
Xi Xiang Yuan·Gentian Secret Realm International Resort Villa is a star-rated hotel hidden in the UNESCO heritage core area of the thousand-year-old Baisha Ancient Town, boasting the closest cultural tourism location to the ancient town's central archway, interpreting the philosophy of "retreating from the world within the city" for ultimate luxury living. Wake up to golden snow-capped mountains outside your window, and when night falls, reach out to touch the starry river. We build "time vessels" for families with children and couples, with eighteen guest rooms scattered across three independent Naxi courtyards, each with unique features: some are panoramic cloud sanctuaries facing the snow mountains, some are two-story standalone suites accommodating three generations, and some are pet-friendly lofts with private garden courtyards. The hotel's spacious indoor and outdoor areas feature underfloor heating, high-end bathroom facilities, and custom bedding, along with a fitness center, themed restaurant, café bookstore, children's playground, activity room, and tea room to meet all your vacation needs. At Xi Xiang Yuan, luxury is not just tangible facilities but intangible experiences - waking up to watch the eastern sun paint the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain gold; as dusk falls, travelers exchange stories by the bonfire while children and pets chase the evening breeze. Walk along thousand-year-old stone paths to explore the legacy of the Tea Horse Road, participate in local crop harvesting, and experience intangible cultural copperware craftsmanship. Luxury is the intimate conversations around the bonfire, the family reunions under the snow-capped mountains, and the place where weary urban souls find solace. The philosophy of Xi Xiang Yuan·Gentian Secret Realm is to create a "home" vessel that preserves precious moments with loved ones, slows down time, and reveals the true meaning of life in tranquility.

"Here's a breakdown of my experience: **Exclusive Car Service (One room, three consecutive nights stay, choose one of four: airport/station pick-up/drop-off):** Super convenient! I contacted the butler a day in advance for station drop-off. 🚗 **Butler Service:** The butlers (both male and female) were incredibly warm and welcoming. They'd greet us when we left and remind us about the day's weather and temperature – so thoughtful! A few days prior, they called to provide directions to the guesthouse and parking. They even took us on a short electric scooter ride over the old town's stone path to the courtyard. **Snow Mountain View Afternoon Tea:** The courtyard's view completely rivals outside cafes. Guests receive coffee vouchers based on their length of stay (that's my guess, based on the number we received). Spending a relaxing afternoon strolling around the courtyard and sipping coffee is incredibly pleasant ☕️. **Facilities:** The shower had plenty of hot water, the mattress was soft and comfy, and the room was super spacious 🥱. **Cleanliness:** Every afternoon, an auntie would come to ask if we needed cleaning. Towel and water changes were prompt, and she even asked if we wanted vacuuming. **Environment:** The courtyard is large with several picturesque spots perfect for photos. There's also a nightly bonfire, and sitting in a chair watching the stars was incredibly relaxing. **Service:** We could have breakfast daily, and they provided rice noodles, fruits, and vegetable salad in generous portions. The restaurant is very spacious, and since we visited during the off-season, we only saw three or four main guests each morning. It was very quiet and comfortable. There was also a complimentary photography service that I didn't get to use this time, but overall, it was already superb. The dog in the courtyard was also adorable, and I'd always check to see if it was there whenever I went to the courtyard 🐶❤️. Overall, I found no shortcomings, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.☺️☺️"

I've been here twice. I was in a hurry and forgot to comment last time. I have to make up for the difference this time. In fact, the first time I came here, I saw that the entrance of the hotel was slightly different. It's not like a regular hotel. It's located in a village in Baisha. The door is a bit mini, but it feels quite solemn when you walk in. I was completely shocked when I entered the hotel. Such a luxurious and uniquely designed hotel is too low-key. It's not reasonable that the platform has only four diamonds. From the entrance to the room, the red wood and small-leaf red sandalwood furniture is so ”precious”. The walls are full of good-year tea cakes, and the tea cups are Ru porcelain. The Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang and various ancient monuments are all over the hotel... A 500-year-old Bodhi tree is right in front of my window. Is this what I dare to think? The housekeepers are also very enthusiastic, just like their own family. Brother Ah Hui for the first time and Sister Jinghai this time, they all chatted very happily. I have to mention the rice noodles for breakfast, which are delicious! I show off two bowls every time hhh. This time, I also tasted the hotel's new coffee beans. Let's not talk about others, it's the best I've ever tasted. I took many bags of coffee to give to my family and friends before leaving. Although the two stays were short, they were very warm. I will definitely come again next time. I feel that this treasure has not been fully developed. Let's make an appointment again.

I don’t know what words and words to evaluate Park Li, upgraded the star room for free, stayed for three nights full of joy, the boss is very good, treat people warm and elegant, enjoy tea and chat together, feel the ideal Lijiang slow life, no matter where you go, you will pick up the car and send it. Very warm gentleman. The design of the homestay is very tasteful, the details are thoughtful, small and exquisite, the room is quiet and hygienic, the bedding is comfortable to sleep, the star room is really good! Seeing the beautiful snow-capped mountains and sunrise, I locked myself outside the terrace in the morning, and a phone call woke up the boss in my sleep, and soon came to open the door. In short, I spent a very pleasant three-day holiday in Park Li and will come again!

I highly recommend this hotel to friends who don't like crowded places and just want to find a place with beautiful scenery and few people to relax for a day or two. This hotel is inside the Yuhu Village Scenic Area, but you don't need to buy tickets for the Jingli District. If you contact the store in advance, you can drive the car directly into the scenic area and park at the door of the hotel, which saves dozens of dollars. You can also drive to the vicinity of Longnu Lake, and let the hotel car take you there, and then slowly walk back from the village. There are many cafes and restaurants in the village. You can also order food at the hotel, which tastes good and has a good price-performance ratio.

Friends, friends, hurry up and book! I highly recommend this place. For just over 200 yuan, you get a room with a view of the snowy mountains 🏔️. Not only that, but there's a large platform on the second floor with a direct view of the mountains, and you can even see them from the restaurant while having breakfast. The value for money is absolutely incredible! The disposable amenities in the room are beyond what I expected – I loved it. There's a comb, razor, soap, toothpaste, a small packet of laundry detergent, shoe shine cloth, and disposable toilet seat covers. So thoughtful! Oh, and they have the cutest little white, fluffy bunnies 🐇, and an adorable Alaskan Malamute named Xiao Qi with thick eyebrows and big eyes, haha, absolutely precious! There's also a little cat 🐱 that's so good at cuddling, you just can't get enough. And little lambs 🐏, so cute! I spent two days in Lijiang and didn't go anywhere else, just stayed at the guesthouse, walking the dog, playing with the cat, feeding the bunnies, and having tea with the owner. The day just flew by! I was so reluctant to leave. Next time I come to Lijiang, this will definitely be my first choice. It's fantastic! The staff are enthusiastic, and the service is excellent. Being with them made me feel relaxed and at ease, absolutely genuine, just like friends with the owners. No wonder their business is doing so well! While I was sitting at the front desk having tea, the owner's phone never stopped ringing with people inquiring about rooms. Go for it! I wish the owner a prosperous business, abundant wealth, and that the guesthouse continues to grow bigger, better, and stronger!!!!
