"It doesn’t look impressive from the outside but the inside is decorated and designed quite nicely.  In terms of location it depends on what you are looking for. It is fairly close to the central mall (probably max 10 minutes walk even if not walking very fast) but I did not have time to go as there were too many other things to do. It is about half an hour moderate to slow speed walk into the middle of old Phuket town but if you don’t feel like walking there is a bus stop within ten minutes walk max with lots of buses either to the beaches or town centre depending on which side of the road you wait in."

"I had a wonderful stay at Splash Beach Resort in Mai Khao as a couple. The resort is spacious, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing away from the busy tourist areas. Our room was comfortable, clean, and well maintained, with a calm resort atmosphere that made our stay very enjoyable.Breakfast is served with various meals. One of the highlights is the beautiful Mai Khao Beach, just steps from the resort. The beach is quiet, natural, and perfect for long walks together, especially during sunset. A big bonus is the famous airplane photo spot near the beach, where planes fly very low as they land at Phuket Airport. It’s an amazing and unique experience, and the huge airplanes make incredible photos, not only for couples but also for families. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the resort facilities, including the pools and restaurants, were convenient and relaxing. Overall, Splash Beach Resort is a great choice for couples looking for a peaceful beachfront stay with a unique photo spot and memorable experiences. Highly recommended"

"checkin very late night, don’t know why receptionist give the twin beds room to a solo traveler (She know I come alone) After change to the kingbed room, it is better. Room is huge and works great for me. The excellent location makes me explore easier in Phuket Town! I wouldn’t recommend to take the breakfast. I dont find the joy through breakfast. Phuket Town has lot of better food options!"

"This hotel is situated at one far end of Karon beach, and is literally right on the beach! We loved the super quiet location although it's a short walk out to the shops if you want to buy anything. The beach on this side was clean, not quiet but not as crowded as Patong or Kata either. We liked the quiet of it all, away from the bustle, after having spent 3 days in Kata. We booked a Deluxe Room but ended up asking to be upgraded (at a fee) to a ground level pool side room. It was the best decision ever! We stayed at Room 101 and while it was next to the ”road”, it was very quiet. We loved that we could hang out on the beach all day and pop back to the room for the toilet easily, or for more cold water or snacks. We also ordered food and coffee via Grab app and our room made it easy to come out and pick up very quickly, and we can see the grab riders coming with our food too. The staff were nice but they don't speak English well so some patience is needed. There's a cute kitty cat at the hotel, and she(?) loves cuddles and is friendly and doesn't mind being carried. Housekeeping was neat and efficient and we always had fresh towels and a clean room after a day out. The hotel is a bit dated, very reminiscent of old beach hotels we used to go to while growing up. It's well kept and lovely, and we enjoyed our stay very much. It is true that the water smells a little bit but just leave the shower running for a while and the smell goes away. Aircon was cold enough, and if I had to pick on something, I wish the curtains were blackout! Personal preference tho. Thanks to the team for a great stay."

"Compliment for the Wonderful Team at Zenmaya Oceanfront Phuket I would like to extend my heartfelt compliments to the wonderful staff at Zenmaya Oceanfront Phuket — Mrs. Saranya Nitiprapan (Elle), Puy (Housekeeper), and Pa (Reception Manager). Their professionalism, warmth, and dedication made my stay truly enjoyable and memorable. I really enjoyed my stay and especially my room is seafront and unblock view , the room is literally directly in front of the ocean view. , can near the sound of the waves from your room, loving every minute of balcony view. Jacuzzi was a bonus and it made you feel so comfortable after a long day of walk . Elle has been exceptionally attentive and prompt in replying to all my emails. She handled every request efficiently and always provided thoughtful solutions. Her professionalism and problem-solving attitude gave me great confidence before and during my stay. Pa, the Reception Manager, was equally impressive. She was at the front desk during my check-in and also responded quickly to my live chat messages through the Zenmaya app. Every request I made was immediately attended to under her careful supervision. Her attention to detail and proactive approach are truly commendable. Puy, the Housekeeper, did a fantastic job maintaining my room. Everything was always tidy and neatly arranged. Initially, I noticed that small towels were missing, but after I made the request, she remembered and ensured they were placed in my room every day thereafter. Her consistency and care were much appreciated. Your staff are true gems — rare to find and a great credit to the hotel. Please continue the excellent work! I will definitely recommend Zenmaya Oceanfront Phuket to my family, relatives, and friends, and I look forward to returning for another stay in the near future. Never regret booking this hotel"

"I tried to communicate with Trip.com about changing my room type, and we ultimately decided not to make any changes. However, upon arrival, I found out the room type was still incorrect. I reluctantly stayed in the wrong room for the first night and directly contacted the hotel front desk the next day to switch. The room facilities are good, and the hotel's surrounding amenities are comprehensive. The only real issue is the water quality, which is truly awful, especially in the new building. It's genuinely brown and black tap water, and there's nothing that can be done about it! On the second day, I moved back to the old building into a deluxe room, and while the water quality improved slightly, it was still murky."

"I'll start with the most important point for me, the biggest downside of this hotel is the lack of sound insulation. You can hear all the neighbors through the walls, and the bars nearby play very loud music until 4 AM. It feels like you’re sitting right next to a speaker it's complete madness! We stayed for 4 nights, and there were concerts at the bars every other day. On the positive side, the hotel is conveniently located close to the beach, the pool is clean, and the breakfasts are good. There is a restaurant on the hotel premises that serves delicious food; I highly recommend it. The massage services available at the hotel are also great!”"

"I was very satisfied with my stay at The Arch Phuket Hotel. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. One of the highlights was the New Year’s Eve celebration — the hotel provided a complimentary dinner with a salmon set, which was delicious and very generous. We also received a small gift, which was a lovely touch. The breakfast on January 1st was also very special and different from the usual hotel breakfast — it was incredibly tasty and impressive. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from Old Town, and there is no 7-Eleven nearby, so you need to walk some distance to find one. Other than that, everything was great. I truly enjoyed my stay and would recommend this hotel."

"The hotel's location is excellent; it's very convenient to walk to the airport and also close to Nai Yang Beach. On weekends, you can even visit the nearby Nai Yang Night Market, which is great. The room and bed were both very large, and there was also a small balcony. I didn't get to experience the hotel's pool due to a tight schedule, but I hope to have the chance next time. The only minor drawback was that there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room. However, I'm not sure if it was because we used mosquito repellent, but I didn't hear any buzzing or get bitten while sleeping."

"I first discovered Sawasdee Village by chance while walking around in the evening, and the atmosphere absolutely amazed me. It felt like a hidden oasis in the middle of the tourist chaos, so I decided to plan my next trip around staying here. The room itself was small but cozy and very clean, although a bit old and in need of some renovation. I had read about this in reviews beforehand, so I was prepared for it and booked only one night. Honestly, if the rooms were more modern, I would have gladly stayed for a week or longer. On the positive side, everything worked well: Wi-Fi was stable, the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and I loved the canopy and the ceiling with glowing stars. The view from my window overlooked the beautiful garden, and the room even had a humidifier with essential oils, which made it smell wonderful. The property is simply stunning — two pools, a spa, a restaurant, water bars, billiards and table football, as well as plenty of cozy corners to relax in. It was a delight to stroll through the lush garden, sit by the fountains, and swing on the hammocks. Breakfast was included and offered a generous buffet with many choices. In the room I also had a capsule coffee machine, bottled water, tea, bathrobes, slippers, toiletries, insect repellent, cookies, and even a flashlight — such thoughtful details. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They helped with my luggage and allowed me to check in 1.5 hours earlier since my room was ready. The location is also convenient, close to the beach and shops, and I loved the little foot shower at the entrance to wash off sand before entering the hotel. As for value — it’s a bit mixed. On the one hand, the unique atmosphere and privacy are worth the price. On the other hand, I noticed that within the same hotel, villas with direct pool access were actually cheaper than the room I booked (although when I reserved my room, the pool villas were more expensive). Still, I think Sawasdee Village is a special place, perfect for a relaxing stay — even for something as romantic as a wedding photoshoot"
