"The hotel reception has a tall, medium-built, slightly dark-skinned female staff member who speaks excellent Chinese and is very charming. Her service is exceptional; she understood all my requests and helped me resolve them. For this price, in my home country, I'd barely get a budget hotel, and not even a well-located one at that. But here, I got a large room with excellent service. I highly, highly recommend it! Everything was perfect except that the AC wasn't turned on before I checked in. Also, right across from the hotel entrance, after exiting the parking lot, is Central, so there's no need to walk around."

"The service was friendly and very helpful for every request. The beds were comfortable and the food (we had breakfast and dinner at the hotel) was very decent. The pool area was dreamy with a great view. Sadly some things made the stay a bit less comfortable: the bathrooms had a sewer smell that wouldn’t go away. The air conditioning temperature in the room was extremely low and didn’t change when we tried to bring it up, as if it was stuck, so at night we were freezing."

"Baumancasa Beach Resort boasts an excellent location, just across the road from Karon Beach. There are plenty of 7-Eleven stores and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient for shopping and dining. However, the prices during Chinese New Year were significantly inflated compared to their regular rates. If you can book outside of peak season, the value for money would actually be quite good. I stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the rooftop pool and views. It's a shame that I spent most of my time out exploring and missed the sauna and pool opening hours when I got back to the hotel. The breakfast was also pretty good, though the coffee tasted a bit like instant. P.S. Avoid the Amber Restaurant near the hotel entrance. Don't be fooled by its high rating on Dianping; it's not good value for money, and they even swapped out my dish, which raises some serious trust issues."

"The staff were excellent so helpful and friendly. Bird the shuttle driver was so kind and always willing to help you. I matter what.  Breakfast was good but a little heavy more like a brunch due to it being mainly curry, noodles and rice. Not used to this in the uk.  I was disappointed that the large windows in the room looked onto a high wall, about an arm length away no view at all and the swim up pool was outside the room door. This definitely was not what I see when I booked other wise i would probably have chosen another hotel."

"Pros: The hotel itself is quite lovely, and the service was generally good. The pool is beautiful. The location is excellent, with a shuttle bus to the beach and it's also walkable. There are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Cons: The water pressure in the shower was quite low. The cleaning wasn't exceptionally thorough; there was dust on the desk."

"1 ⭐️— Hidden fees, abandoned at check-in, construction noise, no wifi Fees & payment: Booked through Trip.com expecting to pay THB 1,320. A mandatory THB 700 charge (THB 550 cleaning + THB 150 electricity) was not clearly disclosed at checkout. Before arrival the property pressured me to pay via bank transfer or PayPal outside the platform. Check-in: Staff confirmed they would arrive in 10 minutes at 6pm — then went completely silent. No one came. Phone calls unanswered. I was left alone in Building C lobby with no access to my room or any guidance for a while. Building condition: The building is clearly still under construction. Lifts were not working — guests forced to use stairs. Drilling and construction work starts from early morning and continues throughout the day. Do not expect to sleep in or work from this property. Cosmetic works are ongoing throughout the building. Wifi: Did not work in the morning. Only mobile data available — unacceptable for anyone working remotely. Bottom line: The apartment itself is new, but everything surrounding it is unfinished and actively being worked on. The artificially low price appears to be a deliberate strategy to attract early reviews for a property not yet ready to host guests. Avoid until fully operational."

"Fantastic value for money. Stayed here a few year back under the name Bauman Residence and it was good then but now as Elite Suites it has improved. The staff throughout were so polite and welcoming. Always smiling and being pleasant and helpful. Hotel very well maintained and cleaned. Pool bar promotions and happy hours are better than any of the bars on the island. Good bar snacks selection of well prepared food. Stayed for 10 nights in total across 2 bookings. Rebooked for October before checking out."

"Superb place to stay in for Bang Tao area. Place is easy to reach, 5mins walk to Lotus and Bang Tao Market on Monday. There is free shuttle service to Bang Tao Beach and Porto De Phuket. There is also rental available. I had an infant and request for the cot and the place kindly offered it free of charge. My stay was on Level 5, facing the mountain, for respite. Place is clean, housekeeping came everyday. Rooms are huge and well priced. Just one downside of this because it faced the mountain, it also faced the temple and the prayers started pretty early at 5am. Superb stay, will come again if im going for Bang Tao again."

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is a bit too remote. At night, the road outside the hotel is completely dark, so you're pretty much limited to dining at the hotel restaurant. However, you need reservations for dinner, and during Chinese New Year, it was impossible to get one. We ended up ordering takeout (though options were limited, and you had to pick it up yourself from the front desk). While there's a beach, the waves were too strong to really swim. The service, however, was excellent. We only booked this hotel because we were going to Similan the next day. P.S. Similan isn't worth it unless you're deep diving; snorkeling and a day trip are definitely not worth it.

GGuest UserI would like to say thank you for Noku for the birthday arrangements and also the kind service from the staff; I do not like complaining but I do have to raise up my issues as I do believe there can be massive improvements in the hotel and how they handle issues ($550USD for two night stay) - I booked a HILL VILLA KING; I requested prior to arrival that I wanted a certain view and they replied we will try to the best of their availability (which is totally understandable) - When I arrived the service was good and they were very kind and again I appreciated the birthday setup they did in the room - After I checked in ROOM H11; which I saw was weird was there was 2 separate bed bases; and using common sense I thought why would a KING bed have 2 bed bases - After trying to sleep at night I noticed that it was actually a 2 twin beds put together which explains the two separate bed bases; during the night the bed moved in the middle (with obvious two twin beds and the line in the middle) the bed sheets did not fit because it was two twins and they gave me two separate blankets (it was me and my girlfriend) so it is weird having two separate blankets - I went to explain my situation to duty manager (AM is his name) he was very nice but very inexperienced I must say; I went to the front desk and I said “hi may I know what type of room I booked” then they said “king bed Hill Villa” I said perfect then I said I would like to speak to a manager (they knew what I was going to say) - When AM came out he did not let me speak he just talked and said sir because you requested for a nicer view we gave you this room and because the king bed broke which is why we put two twins together. I asked if that is the case why did you not inform me at check in? He said oh we did not im so sorry; let me change your room for you and I will send a fruit plate as apology (TBH I don’t want a fruit plate I can easily get one for $2USD anywhere in Thailand) I said please I had lunch yesterday which was around $25USD pls waive that for me as courtesy and everything would be fine. AM replied of course that’s not a problem sir (I THOUGHT everything was resolved) not sure if he did not understand but I spoke slowly in English due to the language barrier - We went to my new room at night and saw the fruit plate (thought it was a bonus) room was better and was a king bed which is what I wanted. I go to check out the following morning (I DID NOT HAVE TO) they do not take a deposit which is weird because I signed a lunch to my room so I could have just left. I met AM again and he showed me the map of the whole hotel; Pointed at H11 and you can clearly see that the room has two twin beds (So the BED was not broken they just put me in a twin bed combined into a King) He said yes lol not sure why because its not what he said yesterday that the King bed broke. Then he said oh sir you do have a lunch that you had to pay for (Yesterday he just said yes no problem I will take care) now I need to pay for it; I said did you not say you will take care of it he replied “sorry sir because this is another department” To me its one hotel; how you deal with costs internally is not my problem ( I WAS NOT GOING WRITE A REVIEW BUT AFTER THIS I HAD TO) - Also just to add First day breakfast I asked for (ICE THAI COFFEE) they said they do not have and interesting as im in Thailand all hotels have this but it was fine; BUT the breakfast colleagues said at afternoon session they have so I said no problem! But one of the staff offered “sir tomorrow morning we can offer if you would like” I thought amazing that’s service; next day I went “SIR WE DO NOT HAVE THAI COFFEE” after the disappointments above I gave up and adding to the bill not being waived which is a fraction of the cost of the room I gave up - All in all this hotel tries to be “high end” but there are many improvements that can be made Sorry for the long review but I was not too impressed

GGuest UserWe loved the overall experience as a family of four. It was only a short boat ride from Phuket. Although the beach was small, there was a private pool in our villa which we loved. We swam in the private pool when it was sunset. It was so pretty.  The majority of the staff was also incredibly friendly, with almost every service available 24/7. Impressed by the friendliness of the staff at Naka Island Hotel. None of them went past us without smiling and greeting us, and almost everyone we met was ready to engage in little conversation to help us settle into the environment. It was so chilled all around, the surroundings and the accommodation, our nerves were rested for a good few days. Beautiful local excursions also available. We went on a little hike to Tad zoo beach which proved to be a little of an adventure because of the 30-min arduous walk for the kids. Once there, not only did we enjoy the beach chilled atmosphere, we got on jet skis with some discounts to the hotel prices too. Upon return to hotel, we jumped into the private pool overlooking the beach at sunset. An amazing experience hard to forget. Breakfast was exquisite. It had the blend of modern western food and local Thai food. The noodles were delicious, broth was excellent. Got a shoulder and back massage free of charge at the entrance to the veranda restaurant (breakfast restaurant) - knowing how much it would cost, it made my day. Would recommend the Muay Thai to anyone seeking a workout with a touch of Thai culture. The instructor was friendly and funny. He identified my daughter’s talent in the sport. When we go back to HK, I will have another perspective to work on.

AApriltse0508recently stayed at Graceland Resort & Spa in Phuket from May 11 to May 16 with my boyfriend, and it was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—just steps away from Patong Beach, yet peaceful enough to relax away from the crowds. We loved being able to walk to the beach in minutes while still having easy access to nearby restaurants, shops, and nightlife. The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds. Our room was clean, modern, and had a lovely balcony where we could unwind in the evenings. The housekeeping team did a great job every day, keeping everything spotless. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely the pool area. The resort has multiple pools, so it never felt too crowded, and there were always plenty of loungers available. It created a really relaxing atmosphere, perfect for a couple’s getaway. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay. From check-in to check-out, everyone was welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a smile. Their service really made us feel valued and taken care of. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of options—both local Thai dishes and international choices. Everything was fresh and delicious, and it was a great way to start each day. Overall, Graceland Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations. It offers the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and great service. We had such a memorable stay and would definitely come back again. We stayed in the Loft Room, and the view of the lagoon and the beach from our room was simply breathtaking — it felt like waking up in a postcard every morning. The hotel’s location is perfect, with direct access to both the lagoon and the beach. One of our favorite parts was the complimentary ferry that takes guests across the lagoon to the beach every 20 minutes — such a fun and convenient touch that made getting around effortless. The atmosphere at Cassia is vibrant and welcoming, and the staff were always friendly, professional, and genuinely happy to help. KKLorraineOverall, it was a very good stay. Orn was nice and accommodating and even helped move me to a higher floor the next day. Berna from the restaurant was also friendly and took the time to chat, which was really nice. The room was refreshed while I was out during the day, which was great, but it would’ve been helpful to be informed beforehand since my personal belongings were left around. Just a small note — the bathrobe wasn’t set up initially, and only two pillows were provided for a room meant for two guests, so I had to request extra pillows.

Hhellenxiao831Reading other reviews made me a bit nervous at first, but after checking in, I found it to be absolutely wonderful. The hotel was very clean, and the Thai-style gardens and pool were fantastic. Plus, the hotel is right on the beach – just a short walk from our room, which was incredibly convenient. My child loved it so much they didn't want to leave! The only downside is that there's nothing much outside the hotel; it's a bit isolated. So, if you're looking for a relaxing hotel stay with family fun, this place is perfect. There are a few restaurants by the sea, and the prices are quite reasonable. It's really great! I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

SShanguangdeyexiThe room boasts standard five-star amenities, feeling neither damp nor outdated. While the ocean view from my room wasn't spectacular due to its lower floor, its proximity to the restaurant, lobby, and pool made getting around incredibly convenient. Breakfast quality was excellent, and the service was impeccable; the Thai smiles always put me at ease. The 'casa' (villa/suite) offered incredible views, and the sunsets and evening glow were stunning. The pool was large, though a bit exposed to the sun with no shade. The main drawback is the location, which is a bit remote – about 2 km from Kamala town, and a taxi to Patong starts at 200 THB. The beach right in front of the hotel was quite poor, with rough, yellowish sand that hurt my feet, and the ocean wasn't great either. However, for a pure resort stay, it's a fantastic choice.

KKelly8692Pros - it is quite near to Phuket International Airport - around 30-35mins. The Resort is very big, near to the sea and provides free shuttle to Kata & Karon Beach and free Kayaking to the guests. We had the sea view room and the view everyday was great. The location is very far from central/downtown which is why it is very peaceful to stay here. The rooms are slightly outdated, but they are kept very clean so the outdated part doesn't feel much. The staff is also very kind and helpful. Overall its a nice resort to stay for a short while as it is quite far. Cons - For the 4days we stayed there, we did not like the breakfast as much. The breakfast area and view was very good, but every time we went for breakfast - it was always served cold. No matter we went early or late for breakfast, the food was always cold. There is a lot of variety in breakfast but none of them tasted good because it was always cold or not warm enough. The resort is really very far - around 1hrs 20min from the main tourist areas like Kata, Patong and Karon beach, so if you are planning to travel to these places - plan accordingly. As it is expensive and far to travel back to the resort. Also since it is far - there is no market or small shops nearby the hotel that you can walk up to in the evening. The only choice is to stay at the resort, swimming pool or inside the resort because the road that drives up to the resort is quite steep to walk. Overall it was a comfortable stay but it was a bit of hassle with the breakfast and travel back to the resort. This is why I am giving 4stars.

MmynameischeonsaMy stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing! The room was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view of the beach. Room service was very polite and everyone at the front desk made sure I had everything I needed. The hotel was very accommodating and paid very close attention to detail. When my flight was later in the day, they even assisted me with a place to rest while I waited for my driver. Excellent service. I ordered drinks and they were brought up to the rooftop pool which overlooked the beach. Really a great view and directly across the Patong Pier, so it was very easy to go to Yona Beach Club from there. The location isn’t far from the party scene but isn’t close enough to be disturbed at night. However, the ocean view is directly next to the road, so loud music will play sometimes when a car passes by—nothing the hotel can avoid. It didn’t bother me much. If I come back to Phuket in the future, I will definitely stay here again!
