"At check in we were offered to upgrade to a room with a view and an additional charge of 50k. After agreeing and paying we went to the room, when we arrived at the room I opened the balcony door and what we saw was not a view but the street and the hotel parking area. Disappointed because the hotel staff did not explain in detail and did not explain that there was only one room left. Then the bathroom drain was also clogged, so the water stagnated when taking a shower. The TV did not work, making the children uncomfortable in the room."

The food selection for breakfast was good, and they provide a takeaway breakfast option should u want to opt for that to bring on your hike up the mountain. The rooms can get a little noisy as they face the poolside and if you have. a party or loud chatter going on outside, can be heard Nonetheless the room was big, room service was good, no complains"

"We stayed at Sapo Karo Rest House as a family, booking 2 rooms. The location is very good—close to main attractions in Berastagi but still peaceful and calm. The environment is relaxing, perfect for family bonding and rest. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the surroundings felt safe and quiet. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!"

"The hotel is acceptable. We stayed in a villa. Hot water was a bit tricky, but when we went to the next-door neighbors, everything was fine. The pool was nice, the breakfast excellent. The Wi-Fi was average, maybe even worse. Otherwise, it was excellent for the price."

"The staff is quick to respond. There is an issue with water supply and the staff come immediately after being call. The villa is quite clean and in good condition and well maintained. The only downside is the sound system can be upgraded."

"Great place to stay. Very quiet and chill. Only downside was the flushing toilet did not work properly, the hand washing sink's pipe was not properly installed, the speed of the shower was not fast enough and hot water sometimes was limited (maybe because we did not know how to operate it well). Overall, with quite an affordable price, I can't complain much 👍 Also, they allowed me to borrow their water host to clean my car before checking out on their reception yard."

"The room is clean, but the service and facilities are lacking. Towels are not asked for, not given, soap and toothbrush are not there. There is no Aqua or a place to boil hot water. The toilet can not be pressed, broken, the bathroom door handle is loose, winning in the room is spacious, clean and the place is close to the city. We chose a family room on the 3rd floor, it feels like bringing children to the 3rd floor is a bit dangerous because climbing the stairs is afraid the children will fall. I will not come here again"

"Book a family suite it comes with 2 rooms with a bathroom in each. However the cleanliness is not like what I'm expecting, it was quite dusty. The amenities weren't complete. Normally a hotel/cottage will provide an iron, but this cottage didn't. We have to call and keep asking from the receptionist yet they didn't send it till the next morning. As for the surrounding from outside the cottage looks very nice especially the morning weather, it was cold and it had a nice view around the cottage. You can take as many photos as you want around it before you leave."
